I think tryouts should contain certain situations. When a member first joins, I think we should have a post containing samples of all of our active member's style of writing and maybe links to characters to see who'd they want to roleplay with. Then they make their character, then the person who conducts the Tryout should be the roleplayer they choose. All the veteran would do is test them in certain scenarios such as a fight or anything else to check for magic, godmodding, or powerplaying. Since most members come on by recommendation, then we can't exactly say no, so we just train them. That's just me and my thoughts.

Yeah, I agree with what Shadow is saying. That's what I meant when I was saying I'm not sure about having try-outs. For other people not coming in on recommendations, those few are who try-out. That way it's a little simpler on all of us. And with the idea of training them, I agree with Shads again XD (So smart Shads) The vets should train all the newcomers until they find their own little group
