Rucian simply smiled jovially, "I could have one sworn into my allies or you, as well. Any drop of information leaked and they'd be dead- or I do know Tilla traveled a lot with Indigo. Perhaps along their travels they had learned something useful to this type of situation? I understand that getting to know er would take time- but I think you know her in ways I do not already.." Rucian teased with a knowing smirk, his eyelids lowering to slits- the snake emerald eyes playful.
"Hmm. Sleep doesn't sound all that important at the moment. Any attempts will be useless.." He didn't want to mention the dear he had in his bones...he had attempted to reach out to Seraphina multiple times- and nothing had come up. It was just numbness- not the snap of the bond- but just a dull ringing noise. The deafening echoes of a bell rolling into him each time he tried to get a feel for her..sleep would be restless for him.
"Now then. Time for gossip. Callaghan...What are your thoughts on Calix and Erisanna?"

Callaghan responded with a slow smile, his tail flicking back and forth playfully. "Perhaps," his own eyes glinted playfully. "I got to know here very well." Guilt filled his face and he sighed, glancing to the side. "I didn't mean for it to seem like I was using her. She didn't seem at all upset, though." With a smirk curving his lips, he stood and held out a hand to help up his king. "Perhaps we shouldn't gossip on the floor. To be truthful, I'm half tempted to go back in bed and cuddle with you, but I'll refrain if you would prefer to make use of your sitting area."
Finally, he allowed curiosity to fill his gaze as he watched Rucian. "My thoughts? What do you mean specifically? About them? Or their relationship to each other." A smirk twitched his lips. "Personally, I think Erisanna will be the one to make the first moves. I think Erisanna is bold, but a charming young one. And I also think Calix is charming, and I think you have taken quite the liking towards him. I know he looks up to you. He's constantly looking to see your reaction to something, if you either disapprove or approve. It's sweet, really."

"Yes, in the short time I've come to know him I find myself taking on a paternal role towards him. A fathery feeling within me awakens when he is around...it is odd but welcome...Erisanna is quite the charming baby, I agree...bold and young- being around her makes her infectious.. So much energy just bursting from her veins. I wonder if other nonVerengeith can handle being around her or if it's too much for them..." He thought alloud but made his way over to his bed with a sigh. Rucian remembered the days when Seraphina had been that young- it had been a rush every minute around her- her energy levels peaked and broke away from her core and illuminated the space around her as if she were a star at the center of a strong of planets.
"She almost reminds me of Drexel." Rucian admitted, now that he thought about t. "There's something about her...maybe it's her ambition? I'm not sure but she and Drexel seem alike..." Perhaps it was best not to bring up Drexel at this moment..."but I could be wrong. I think they will match well together- her and Calix."

Callaghan leaped and slid into the bed like a child, and spread out all his limbs. Though, he was short and small, so he didn't take up that much room. His tail still flicked around which gave away his amusement. Slowly, though, he sat up and regarded Rucian with a small smile, happy that Rucian had finally accepted that he had began to act fatherly towards Calix. "Ah, yes," the mention of Drexel didn't really affect Callaghan. It was always on his mind that his bondmate was gone. It didn't make a difference if Rucian said it aloud or not.
"Drexel was always full of energy, and still is." Despite himself, Callaghan gave a warm smile even thinking of him. "Erisanna and Calix is a good match. He is quiet, and calm enough to calm her down, and she's bright enough to always push him out of his boundaries, though, will you be jealous when she steals his attention?" Amusement sparked Callaghan's eyes as he regarded Rucian. "I truly think that if invited Calix into your room, it wouldn't take him a second of hesitation to jump in your bed." A hum of amusement purred through Callaghan. "Calix does have a very calming voice when he speaks, though. I can't imagine him yelling. We should try and encourage Erisanna to have him sing, or even to tell stories. Or you could."
Pausing, Callaghan straightened to look Rucian in the eye. "Will you ever state to Calix what you think of him? He still is cautious around you, so he certainly will bother with borders until you show him that they aren't there."

"Jealous? I think you misunderstand, my friend. I do not get jealous over sharing anyone- save for Seraphina, but, well, that has a special agreement, as you know." Rucian gave a smile, his own tail coiling in thought. "Hmmm..perhaps I will or I will not- he may have to find that out on his own." He shrugged and turned toward Callaghan to meet his gaze.
"Perhaps- between Erisanna and myself I'm almost positive we could convince him." Rucian gave a sky smile and let his body fall back against the bed, his body worn from activity.
"What about Khalida- not her and Drexel, just her in general." To be honest he was curious about Callaghan's thoughts on the girl- she had an interesting story to tell but without knowing it, thoughts on her were interesting.

(not suuuucking)
Callaghan chuckled at Rucian's words. He moved to gather the blankets and then pull them over the two of them, and then he slipped closer to Rucian, still feeling needy. Nightmares usually left him unable to rip himself from Drexel's arms and when they were at their worse, Callaghan couldn't even stand being in a room alone.
"Khalida," Callaghan let out a hum of thought and wiggled closer to Rucian, flickering his gaze up to his friend's eyes. "She's certainly quiet, and definitely not like Rorik at all." Usually, Callaghan didn't like discussing Rorik with Rucian, because it was one of their ideals that didn't match up. "I can't help but wonder how terrible it must have been for her." He didn't want to broach that subject any longer.
He didn't want to start a fight. And he even hushed the thoughts that threatened to question Rucian and his decisions. "She seems sweet, yet incredibly strong. When she first came over, I couldn't help but notice that she seemed to listen very closely to what Seraphina said." Callaghan wrapped his arms around Rucian, as if that would banish his questioning thoughts.
"Rucian, Indigo and I had planned to leave soon, in order to find someone to bear her a bondmate." He reached back to gather a lock of Rucian's hair and play with it. "I hate leaving you, but every day is precious. On top of that, I think my nightmares are going to get worse if I stay here and wait for him to come back. Usually my nightmares are strictly only Saffron, but this last one included Drexel, too. I'll end up seriously hurting you, which is something I don't want to do."
