Devin rolled his eyes. "You're such a girl." Pressing his lips tightly together, he ignored her. Even if she sounded somewhat alright, she was drunk. How much would she remember? Except... talking about feelings. That's disgusting. He didn't have any. "I don't belong. It's like a cat putting on a dog mask, but even still, the cat is a cat. I'm a halfy, and I get reminded at least once a day."
He pulled back his arm to stare at the ceiling. "It's so fucking stupid."
"Letter? Did you just suggest I talk to Araceli?" Aleksy raised a brow, leaning towards Keiran. "You realize that that's impossible? Everything I say, she twists into an insult. I don't know anything about any letter." He glanced away, hurt filling his gaze. "It's almost been ten years." His voice was quiet. "But, it's been eight. I still remember her birthday, and the first day we met. If she sent me a letter, I didn't get it. Because I don't remember any letter."
Closing his eyes, he shook his head and let out a long sigh.

Araceli frowned at his words, her gaze fixing on his face as she squinted at him. "No, that's not true...it's pretty clear from your anger that it's bothering you..So it's not stupid." She frowned further and tried to explain her thoughts- what she meant.
Her brain was too fuzzy to recall.
"Ugh." She muttered and squeezed her eyes shut. "It's...Something. I can't think of the word..."
"Just..Trust me. I think if you ask and even if she's angry and yells- once it's understood and explained things will..Hopefully turn out for the better." Keiran sighed and ran his had through his hair. "Because you don't know anything about the letter is why you should ask."
That made no sense, did it?
"Just..Ask her." Keiran grumbled. It was really hard not to tell Aleksy..

"Look, I don't talk about my problems, alright?" Devin sat up, glaring at Araceli. "Because--" Why? Why did he never talk about his problems? Frowning, he glanced away and sighed. Maybe because it made him more vulnerable, if someone knew the right ways to hurt him.
Elidi knew his weak points--the bones that he had broken before--and she used them. Shaking his head, he held his head in his hand. "Batty got his ass kicked, right? Well... Elidi thought I had something to do with is, as if I would betray her... which proves I don't belong. I mean, sure, I use to fucking think that she was the one, but that was a couple centuries ago. Now I just hate the fuck. But... I wouldn't hurt her."
Aleksy pulled himself closer to her and leaned against him. "Yeah, yeah, I will if... if you just give me a few moments..." Perhaps this is what he had been waiting for all day. If Keiran let him, Aleksy grasped his shirt and squeezed his eyes shut. It was weak to need this, but... he had been weak all day, and he needed it.
"You should be there too, so you can stop us from doing something stupid, like almost having sex again..." A sigh left Aleksy.

Araceli listened intently, her eyes watching him. "...I understand that feeling.." She murmured and nodded, glancing down. "You have to..." What solved that issue? Did se even know?
Probably not.
Still, she spoke anyways. "Batty is Jem, right? The ketsuki? He was her lover from what I understand- uh. Is her lover.- she was probably paranoid and in things like that people get stupid, you know? Start worrying about the unknown and those around them..It's crazy...She just had to be reminded you wouldn't- see the right in the craziness and clear her cranial trash." She muttered, her eyes locked on the floor.
Keiran nodded and allowed Aleksy that much- to hold onto him. He even patted his back, perhaps, and wound one arm around his shoulders.
Gods drinking made him touchy with Aleksy and Araceli..
"I...Sure." He sighed and shook his head.
He hoped he didn't need to be there- that it would be a happy reunion instead of messy an angry..
But knowing their pasts..
It probably wouldn't be and Keiran was most likely dreaming. Lost in the clouds.
Well..He could dream, couldn't he?

Devin breathed through his nose. It wasn't as if he hadn't been thinking the same thing, he had, but he was too stubborn and hurt to really... let himself think it. "You're drunk, kid, go home," Devin murmured, but he sat up to search her gaze. He reached back and rubbed his shoulder, feeling lighter. Araceli hadn't tried to tell him he belonged or soothe his pain.
Instead, she proposed a different answer to the situation and... it felt good. His eyes flickered away. If Keiran was interested her, he approved...
Just not of Aleksy.
Aleksy appreciated the hold, breathing in Keiran's smell, even if a bit of it was Araceli and alcohol. Shaking his head, he looked up at Keiran, "How drunk are you?" He couldn't help but notice how close they were.. it was as if the mere smell of alcohol was making him a bit unsteady, too.
Or maybe it was just Keiran so close to him. Gods, Aleksy wanted to kiss him. He wanted to kiss him... But he couldn't. Instead, Aleksy reached up and placed his lips on Keiran's neck, closing his eyes and gently kissing the skin there.
It wasn't what he wanted, but it was near enough...
"Sorry... I can't.. I can't really sleep..." Aleksy murmured, looking away from Keiran, but not pulling away. "She's not waiting for you to return, is she?"

Araceli laughed and threw herself on her bed. "Ah, but I am home already, aren't I?" She laughed and watched Devin carefully. "What's your favourite colour?"
Keiran shook his head. "No, no...She doesn't even know I'm here to ask you speak with her..." That was alright to say, right? Not too much, not too little.
He blushed at Aleksy's show of affection and prevented himself from tensing. "I'm not too drunk.." Keiran muttered softly, allowing himself to run his fingers through Aleksy's hair lightly.
Gods those two would be the end of him..
"How's Bixpi?" Distractions.

Devin slowly raised a brow, and before he could hold himself back, he said, "Robin blue, or... peach." His eyes flickered to the side and his brows folded. Were those his favorite colors? They made him happy when he saw them. Especially... flowers...
His brows lowered.
Oh.
"What's yours?"
"You're touching me more than usual..." Aleksy murmured, entranced by Keiran's fingers. Gods, he would admit to anything right now... He felt incredibly relaxed and a bit sleepy. "Mmm... Bixpi left because I was boring." Somewhat of the truth. Bixpi left to get things that might make Aleksy happy. He already had a small pile of flowers and a couple tree nuts. There was even a few bright colored bird feathers.
A sigh left Aleksy and he shook his head. "Keiran, you've got to stop doing these things... and I have to, too." With a small smile, Aleksy pulled away from Keiran and looked up at him so he could see it. "Or you're going to make me fall for you."
He reached up and took Keiran's hand, observing it before wrapping his hands around it. "Because I'm not really stable right now." His lashes lowered and his brows pushed lightly together. "We're going to end up in a situation you won't like..."

Araceli smiled at him happily and stretched as she relaxed. "Those are nice...I like red..A crimson, velvet red..Or a purple. Like yours." She pointe at him and hummed in thought. "Yeah..how old are you?"
Keiran nodded and sighed, carefully watching Aleksy. "Y-Yeah...You're probably right." He whispered with a small, embarrassed smile. "Alcohol loosens me up..But you should feel better too." He muttered and glanced at their hands.
"...Take all the time you need to be alright with yourself, okay?" He whispered in a caring tone. "Don't push yourself..Just..Take your time, alright? There's no real rush on anything.."

Like his. Haha... Devin rolled his eyes and laid down, grabbing a pillow and wrapping his arms around it, and then laying his head on it. "Old. Not as old as Keiran, but yeah. More than four centuries." Closing his eyes, he let out a sigh. "You drink a lot because of him, don't you?" He peeled open an eye to see if she started the tears thing again.
Aleksy looked away, down at his hands. Then, his mouth parted and he looked up at Keiran. Take his time? That's it. There felt like no end to it. Could time fix how he was feeling? He couldn't just... complain. Instead, Aleksy closed his mouth and looked down at his blankets, feeling the minor scratches he gave himself. "Thank you," his voice was a mere whisper.
Slowly, Aleksy slid down and then rested his head on Keiran's thigh, watching the wall. Just then, Bixpi slipped through the window and cooed lightly, saying his own version of hello to Keiran, and he leaped on the bed, holding up a new flower. "Thank you, Bixpi..." Aleksy whispered, taking the flower and staring at it. Bixpi let out a sad noise and laid on Aleksy's side, wrapping his arms around him.

Araceli blinked up at him- four centuries?
Why were these Nocvi people so much older?
And how did they look so young?
It wasn't fair..
Araceli looked down at the blanket as he mentioned her drinking and sighed. "Yeah well partying is more than a good enough distraction- and the intoxication is a bonus..It takes him away from my mind.." She sighed and glanced up to his gaze sheepishly. "What about you? Who do you drink to forget? And don't say you don't- everyone drinks to forget someone..Or something.." Se muttered quietly.
Keiran glanced down and away, giving a quick nod. "I should...Go..Tidy up the living room." Or something.
Anything. To stop himself from doing something stupid. "I'll uh..Give you some time to yourself.." He cleared his throat and perhaps stood, glancing toward the door. "T-Tomorrow we can do the talk- I'll mediate for you two if you want." He offered and glanced back at Aleksy. "To make thing easier."

Perhaps the next day came around and Araceli had been watching TV in the living room, that was, until perhaps Cytine was dropped off.
Then she was playing with the small girl, attempting to trick her into believing Araceli had disappeared when really she had ran behind the couch and popped out- using her incredible speed to quickly hide.
Perhaps Keiran and some others had been watching- unbeknown to Araceli, of course.
