Samarah stood up, brushing the sand off her legs. "You can't go wrong with making new friends." She added with a small smile. Her gaze followed the girls and spotted the volleyball net. A smirk arose on her face, "I don't know about you, but I'm, y'know, pretty good at volleyball." She shrugged, before letting out a loud laugh. "I don't have a problem with it, it'll be fun." She agreed, before motioning towards the two boys as well as the net. "After you!" She smiled, before grabbing her belongings and throwing it over her shoulder. There was no way she was going to leave it here unattended so it would be stolen.

Jack let out a frustrated groan, rolling his head to the side. "Jay, honestly you're really depressing to be around sometimes, you know that? Later if you want, we could just dig you a hole and you can stay there forever, safe and alone." He moved his fries away from Jay, setting them down on his other side. "Oh, you can't have any. You might choke and die." The caedde went to lay down on the towels they had probably set out under the umbrella and decided to place his fries on top of him. "April still talking to that strange chick? Mm, maybe I'll ask her if she wants to swim later..," Jack trailed off, becoming lost to other thoughts that sporadically jumped through his mind every now and again.

Happiness filled April's chest and she nodded. "I haven't played in a really long time, but I'm competitive! Let's do girls versus boys! I bet Jay sucks though…" A smirk twitched her lips. "We'll give them a handicap!" From the shortening distance between them and the boys, she could see how red Jay's face was. Briefly, she wondered why.
Anger burned in the base of Jayden's throat and heated his cheeks to a nice rosy crisp. Gods, he could smack Jack upside the head! But that wouldn't solve anything, would it? "Sorry," Jayden snapped, turning his head to look away. Now all he wanted to do was get away from Jack, and April. Go back to their room, and hide. Or make a hole like Jack said. Self pity filled his chest, and he both hated it and wanted to soak up in it. Wrapping his arms tightly around his legs, he clenched his fists tightly. It wasn't his fault he had anxiety problems. Why did they blame him for it? Why-
"Jay!!" April called, waving her hand in the air even if she was only less than ten feet from them now. "Did you get a sun burn staying under the shade?"
Oh. Kill him. Murder him. Bury him, anything. She brought the woman over. Jayden lifted a hand to clench onto a part of Jack, his anxiety telling him to hide, but his anger fired past that. Instead, he decided to continue to ignore Jack. April too. Screw them.
"Jay! Don't ignore me!" April whined, now standing in front of them. "What?" She teased. "Have a lovers' quarrel? Oh! Meet Samarah! She's going to play volleyball with us!"

Samarah followed April as she headed towards the boys. She stood behind the smaller girl as she spoke, waving her hand as April said her name. "Hiya." She smiled lightly, glancing over the two. It looked like they weren't enjoying her walking over here, so she stayed quiet. Her gaze glancing behind her at the other people enjoying themselves in the water. "Do you know where we could get a volleyball, anyway?" She asked, speaking to no one in particular. She didn't carry around volleyballs in hope that she could find some willing players, instead she assumed that there would be someone nice enough to let them borrow one.

It was April's remark, not Samarah's question, that caused Jack to jolt upright. "April, would you stop?" He growled. "We're not lovers or boyfriends! We're not dating or planning on it! So, gods damn it, would you stop saying that to every person you meet? I don't care if you "ship" us, it's never going to be a thing!" With a frustrated sigh, the caedde lifted both hands to his face, running his fingers back through his hair in an attempt to calm himself before glancing up at the stranger his sister had brought over. "Volleyball, huh? I don't really know, sorry." He pushed his shades up for a moment to scan the beach. "I'm sure there's someone around here you could ask. Not me though, I'm lazy. I don't do sports. Or anything~"

"Oh sure," Jayden cut in before April, somewhat forgetting their friend-stranger. "Get your panties in a twist when April suggests you're gay-" His voice caught in his throat as he suddenly remembered the new stranger. Shaking his head, Jayden irritably glared at the bag he brought to the beach. He pulled it towards him and searched through it before holding up a plastic bag. Though, he couldn't help but comment on Jack's last statement with a mutter, "Yeah, Jack. It's starting to show in your flab."
April brushed off Jack's explosion like someone would wipe off dirt. "What ever you two say," she chimed before taking the curious plastic bag. She looked at the cover and a grin widened across her lips. "Aw! Jay! You brought a beach ball! I suppose it's not really a volleyball, but it could work, right Samarah? Oh, whoops. Samarah, this is my brother Jack, and totally not his shy boyfriend Jayden." Pushing the deflated beach ball into Jack's chest, April said slyly, "Why don't you try and show off to a woman for once and blow up this thing, eh?"
