Seth blinked, surprised at the apology. "Hey, no, no issue, right? I mean, don't start bawling your eyes out like Jemmy did," a grin spread Seth's lips and he glanced towards said twin, who shot him an irritated glance. Chuckling, Seth pushed himself up onto his feet and wiped dirt from his pants. "I don't expect anyone to tell me their life story when they meet me, so don't worry about it." He paused for a moment and watched Patch for a moment. The question rested on him for a few moments: Why were you hiding? He quickly decided against asking. Smart choice, for once. "This is.. actually cool. I mean, not like, 'Wow, Patch actually did something cool for once', but, you know. Learning more about each other. Next thing we know, we're going to find out that Joze has a third testicle or something. Or maybe he has a brother too. Hey! We'd be the brother trio, and we could all dislike who our older brothers date."
Scott couldn't help but just smile at Kenneth. He knew it was either be honest or not say anything. "You're going to need some rest, Kenneth," he said, and then peered at the bruise. "It's... well, you're going to need a bit of rest. You probably have only a minor concussion. I would suggest Alec to heal it, but... Kenneth, Alec's going to need some actual training with his magic. He's been lucky so far, but he might heal something the wrong way."
"Shh, don't make the poor baby think," Kasimir soothed, gently wiping a hand over Kenneth's head. He smirked softly and whispered, "Kenneth, just don't look in the mirror for a bit." He paused and said, "Well, Doc, should I leave to go get some ice-"
"No, Kenneth... I think a pillow would be more comfortable than my lap, and you wouldn't have to worry about the light." Scott said, carefully. "I can go get the pain medication and ice while Kasimir finds a room for you. Unless you want to just stay out here."

"Yeah, wouldn't that be nice," Patch mumbled under his breath. His brother had only been around for ten minutes at least, and he already was growing sick of being teased about Alec. He already had Kenneth breathing down his neck about it. Patch didn't need torment from his brother about it. Instead of being a pessimist, Patch decided to smirk up at his friend. "Yeah, you think it's all cool now. Just wait till you spend time with him." He jabbed his thumb back in his brother's direction. "Robbie here's a real asshole." Ah, but it sure was fun being the one to tease. "He hasn't been here long and he already knocked Kenneth out."
"I just want to sit here and brood over my wounded pride," Kenneth mused lightly. "And my poor face." Gods, his head ached something awful and they wanted him to make the decision? "Just.. let me stay here for a bit until the pain lessens enough." Kenneth shut his eyes again when the light had become too much to bear. "And you're right, Scott, about Alec. But you could at least let him heal the bruise. That's the last thing I need to walk around with.."

Seth laughed, and then stopped the moment he realized it wasn't a joke. "No, you... you didn't." His smile dropped and he searched Robbie's gaze.
"He was trying to drag me off to some boyfriend I didn't have," Robert shrugged. "I thought he was going to drag me into slavery or something. So I hit him with a wrench." He held up the wrench and twirled it around his hand. "Who knew something my parents got me would be so useful. But, yeah. I am an asshole. Pat isn't kidding about that either."
A grin spread Seth's lips and he clapped his hands. "That's fu-" He closed his mouth and amended, "That's amazing, holy cow. Damn." He laughed again and gently punched Patch's shoulder. "I approve of your sibling, so far. Until he pisses me off. Gods, you two have to go around and tell that to everyone, I mean. Shit. I bed everyone will get a good laugh of it."
"Hmm... I think the bruise makes you ruggedly handsome," Kasimir smirked.
Scott shook his head and said, "I don't know, Kenneth. Maybe you need some humility." He gave a small laugh and began to shift. "I'll be right back. I'll get the ice-"
"No, no, Scotty," Kasimir purred. "You can stay with your father." Of course, he only said it again to watch the beautiful color explode onto Scott's paper-white skin. With a small smirk, he leaned to give Kenneth a kiss on his brow. "I'll go off and get Alec, among other things. Stay with your dad, and be a good son." With a smirk, he stood and headed away. "Enjoy your father-son moment."
"I can see why you're friends," Scott muttered, choked with embarrassment. He raised his hands to hide his red face.

"I'm sure they will, but I'm already the target of Kenneth's wrath. I'm not sure I could handle anymore." Patch shifted on his feet at the thought of being hounded more than he already was. "You and Robbie can brag about that, but I'll stay out of this." His small smirk returned. "Well Seth, should we go introduce him to Jozi or would you like to spend more time with Robbie now?"
"Because he completes me," Kenneth sighed dramatically, as if he were hopelessly in love. Even though he was against the idea of moving, the ketsuki couldn't help but lean forward, trying to lull his head against Scott's shoulder. A fresh wave of pain rolled through Kenneth and he bared his teeth. "Remind me to never be helpful again, alright? It hurts too much."

"Let's go to Joze. And get him on this bragging too." A smirk curled Seth's lips. He reached down to pick up his son, who whined from being taken away from Patch. "Yeah, I know, you like your Patchykins. By the way, Rob, this is Milo, my son. And that's Jeremiah, Zachariah, and Chase is my older brother, around here somewhere."
"I already forgot your name," Robbie said, honestly. "I'll forget their's too. But little Milo's cute. What race is he? He has round ears. Is he human?" A small stab, to let Patch see how Seth might react.
Brows rising, Seth shrugged. "You know, man. I have absolutely no idea. I mean, he could be anigma, but, he doesn't change. I don't... I honestly don't know races at all. He could be anything. Well, should we go?" He glanced around. "Any idea where Jozi is, with his melon girlfriend?"
Scott couldn't help but laugh, and laugh. He gently reached up to gently rub Kenneth's head. "Don't move around too much, Kenny. And, if you were never helpful, then we... you wouldn't have met me." With a soft smile, he said, "You just got hit with bad luck." Quite literally. "Kenny, how... how is your health? It's been a bit since you have had a check-up. Or anyone, for that matter.

Patch casted (or is it just cast? Pfft, grammar) a glare in his brother's direction. There was no need to be so obvious about what they were. There was a reason for hiding. "I'm not sure," he said, his gaze flickering back to Seth. "I think they might have grabbed a table inside the restaurant. Not enough room, you know? Let's go see." He stepped away from the two, waving for them to follow.
"I've been quite swell," Kenneth muttered into Scott's shoulder. For a moment, he was grateful that Scott wasn't the one with the lie detector. "I probably have a wrench shaped bruise on my face now and my pride has been wounded, but I can't complain." His lips curled into a soft smile, one that was hidden. "How have you been, Scott?" His smile fell, as did his voice. "How are things with Sam?"

"I forgot to eat," Seth muttered under his breath. "Oi, Jayjay, keep an eye on my food for me, alright?" He patted Milo's back and headed after his friend. "Y'know, soon Jozi will have a kid too. Patch, whose going to be your kid?" A grin lifted his lips and he peered into his friend's hazel eyes.
Robert snorted, "I think he already has a kid to look after. That blue-haired whiny ass."
Seth started to a stop and shot Robert a glance. "You... you don't-"
"He's annoying," Robert snapped. "The only reason why Patch is sticking around is because he feel sorry for him." He sighed and shook his head. "Come on," he waved on Seth, stepping up beside Patch.
"He has to be the only person on this planet that finds--oh, my gods. Patch, is your brother the Anti-Kenneth?" Seth couldn't help but chuckle, and he shook his head. "Or perhaps the anti-you."
Scott felt guilt choke him, and his eyes fell to his hands. He swallowed thickly. His nails would need a trim soon. He should probably look at Sam's, and then Asher's--a mixture of emotions crashed down onto him and he took in a sharp breath. "I-I..." He sighed heavily and wrapped an arm around Kenneth. "I miss him, but I am... I am angry with him, because... I don't know. I can't... I can't just live it down like Sam has, Kenneth. I can't... I can't do what Sam does. I shouldn't be angry anymore," he sighed again, and with his free hand, he reached up to hold his face. "Sam's an adult, and he can do what he want. I just... I don't know what to do, Kenneth. What would you do?"

Patch couldn't help the shrug that rolled his shoulders. "I told you, Seth. Robbie's an asshole. So just take everything that comes out of his mouth with a grain of salt." Perhaps the human led the two into the restaurant on their quest for Jozi. While Patch didn't see the couple right away, he caught a glimpse of someone he thought resembled Sage. She was wearing a large hoodie with the hood pulled up. "Seth, is that them over there?" He asked, pointing.
And Patch was right, it had been Sage he had spotted. The singer had lulled her head in her folded arms, a menu set beside her as she had already decided. If Jozi was sitting at the table with her, she spoke. "Joze, I've been thinking. We've been traveling around for a while lately, which means we haven't been working. What do you think of us putting an album together while we're on the road? Just so we can say we're still working and actively making music."
Kenneth found himself trying to wrap his arms around Scott in an attempt to comfort his adopted son. "We're different people, Scott. But I think we're both pros at holding grudges, don't you think?" He smiled lightly at the comment. "But if Kaleb had done something like that, I'm not sure I'd be able to stay mad at him for very long. Plus, Anderson would probably make the two of us talk it out and make up. Would you like me to intervene or do you need a little longer to grieve over this?"

With his nose in the menu, Joziah pondered over his girlfriend's words. "Making a CD sounds fun. Bet Alec and Patch'll love having some input on that." He placed the menu down and leaned over to gently nuzzle her. He probably rarely showed so much PDA. "That's a perfect idea. You're so brilliant. So this is why I fell in love with you," he mused, and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek.
"Oi!"
The sound startled Joziah and he pulled away. Almost immediately he spotted--"Patch multiplied, Sage. You run out the back, I'll distract them with howling."
A grin spread Seth's lips, "Yup. That's definitely them."
Robert watched them for a few moments before he lightly elbowed his brother. "Hey. They look a bit like those band members you like. Trophy Huntress or something."
A deep blush flooded onto Scott's cheeks, and he squeaked, "K-Kenneth, don't move too much..." But his voice was soon swallowed up by the rest of Kenneth's words. He waited for a few moments, before a thought dawned on him. As indirect as it was, Kenneth suggested himself as Scott's father. He didn't know why that thought made him terribly embarrassed. Probably because the same thought made him a little happy. "Um..." He smiled lightly. "Depends, how exactly will you intervene? I..." A sigh left Scott and he wiped some dirt off of Kenneth's knee. "I... I can't remember the last time we ever had a fight like this." He watched Kenneth for a few moments before asking, "Why... why do you call your father 'Anderson', instead of 'my dad', or just 'Dad'?"

Sage had rather been enjoying her special treatment when they had been interrupted. She pulled herself up just enough to get a look at the newcomers before lulling her head back into her arms. "I'm too fat to run, Jozi. Save yourself, I'll wait for the food," she smirked into her arm, pulling her hood up more.
"Yeah, Trophy Huntress. That's exactly who they are, Robbie." He shook his head, at least able to suppress the urge to roll his eyes. The human made his way over to the table as he began speaking once more. "But yeah, these are the Paradise Hunters, Jozi and Sage." If he reached their table, perhaps Patch knelt down beside Jozi, as the table likely only sat two people. "Hey, Joze. Sorry to interrupt your (breakfast/lunch). I just wanted to introduce my older brother, Robbie, to you and Seth." A light smirk curled his lips. "Just so he believed me when I told him I had friends."
The ketsuki felt his shoulders roll, though regretted moving around a moment later. Gods, he needed some strong painkillers. "Don't know. It's just a habit I developed. Before Clyde's place, I hadn't seen him for a very long time." Kenneth mentally winced at the memory of slapping his father the way he had. He decided to change the subject. "And by intervening, I mean sitting you two down. I might just have my dad do that for you and Sam. He's better at it than I am."
