(No, I can be if you want but it's your choice. X3)
Porter stepped inside the house and began to glance around curiously, almost not hearing his mother's words for a moment. Though, then he seemed to hear her and looked back up at her though his gaze fell as sadness plagued him. "Because... Zero has a family of his own now, and they're always busy with the other resistence people.. No one wanted an orphan who came off of the streets around anyway.." Porter's eyes flickered back up to his mother. "So I thought I would look for the family I had left." It was easy to see the sadness in his light blue eyes that maybe came from his father but maybe Porter was the perfect mix of his parents, looking similar to each.

The mother's heart ached a bit. Maybe the two didn't notice, but a bat fluttered into the room, very sneakily, and rested somewhere out of sight. More bats and sneaked in through open windows, hiding out of sight. Sarah had not realized any of this, her lips pressing tightly together. You couldn't of just stayed away? My damn luck... Running her fingers through Porter's hair, she nodded with bile in the back of her throat. "W-Well..." She stuttered a bit before looking around. "I suppose I should introduce you... Honey? Darling?" Sarah called, her eyes full of worry.
(In the long run I think it would be better for you to be the father XD Because Zero is going to be fighting him, or at least teaching him a lesson, but if you want me to be the father just post with porter again XD but if I'm the father you have to be some of the kids)

It took a moment or so, but soon a man walked down the hall, reading a paper. Shadow won't go into details with this man so he can look however you want. "Yes dear?" He said, still looking at the paper. "You called, what do you need?" The man looked up from his paper to see his wife, but paused when he looked down to see Porter. "Sarah, who's this?" No, he didn't know, but he already had an idea since Porter maybe looked like his mother too, and this made his jaw clench tightly. The look he gave the boy made said boy shy away.

A motherly instinct kicked inside of Sarah and she put a hand on Porter's shoulder, but shame wrote in her eyes. "I... this is.... Porter... my l-late husband's son... he happened to find me again today..." Her eyes fell to the ground, her eyes full of shame. "M-Meet... your new dad, Porter...." Her throat closed in a bit of fear, mostly because she was afraid of what her husband would think, and what he would do to her because of it.

Don't worry, this man was clever, patient. If he wanted to do something to Porter, he could wait, and by gods he would. This little shit wasn't going to interfere. The man knelt down in front of Porter, his face now soft with a smile. "Hello, Porter, it's very nice to meet you. My name is Steven (insert last name here.)" Steven held out his hand.
An uncertain Porter reached out to cautiously take his step-father's hand, and he squeaked out a quiet, "H-hi..." He was still afraid of strangers, mainly because of that incident that took place long ago. When Steven took his hand away, Porter tried hiding behind his mother. It would have all been even acuter if he was actually wanted.

Sarah let out a breath of relief, but she kept a hand on Porter, watching Steven warily for a moment before smiling warmly. "Steve, darling, I'll start making dinner, alright? Porter, it's okay." She went to step away from him. "If you want, the other kids are upstairs." Her eyes were soft, but distaste wretched her stomach. Preferably, she wished for Porter to get scared and run away. If she could, she stepped up to Steven, giving him a kiss on the cheek if she let him, before heading towards the kitchen. "What would you like for dinner, darling?"
Oh how Zero's blood boiled, but he didn't do anything, he sat and waited. Sadness was reminded of him, of Porter's leaving and why he was there. Tears filled his eyes and he shook his head, biting his hand and looking away as the tears pricked the corner of his eyes. Have I ignored you like this? I'm sorry, Porter...

"Anything you would like to make, dear," Steven said with a soft smile, standing up tall again. "Why don't you surprise us tonight?" Now, if Sarah was walking away, then maybe he turned his gaze back to Porter. His eyes started to fill with hate for this stupid boy, but Porter was blind to it as he was once again looking around curiously. When Porter looked back up at him, the hate disappeared.
Now Porter didn't really want to see other kids, he just wanted to be with his mom he hadn't seen in a while, but he was not a stupid boy and he knew that she was busy. "W-where are they-"
"Upstairs," Steven said impassively before going to walk away from the boy.
Yes, Porter figured this man didn't like him very much, he just didn't know how much. Locating his way around the first floor until he found the stairs, and went to head up to the second floor to go meet his step-siblings, who he didn't want to meet..

The door was open, revealing a girl and a boy wrestling over a came control, their faces contorted in anger. The boy was younger, three years old, while the girl was a year older than him. A two year old girl sat on the bed, sucking on a Popsicle. "Stupid!" She growled, trying to take the controller. "Gimme!"
"Wook," The two-year-old pointed outside the room for a moment, the boy and the girl stopped fighting, looking out the door. Fear wrote on their faces at first, had Mommy or Daddy caught them? No. It was a boy. A strange one in fact.
"Who are you?" The girl yanked away the controller, wiping her bangs from her face and watching Porter.
Oh, and Zero's hatred grew.

Porter suddenly filled with sadness because these were kids his mom had with another man, and his father whom he loved was dead. "H-hi," he said sheepishly, "my name's Porter.." He stepped just a little bit into the room, his eyes watching his feet. "You're my... step-siblings?" Then he took a moment to explain himself. "W-we share the same Mommy, but.. we have a different Daddy.." He felt so awkward..

The children stared at him, confused. "Step-siblings?" The girl asked, confused. Her eyes narrowed. "No, you're lying!" She stuck her chin in the air. The boy followed in suit and stuck his tongue out at Porter, sitting down in front of the TV.
The two-year-old watched them with big eyes then pointed to herself, "Penny." Then she pointed to the girl. "Suzie." Then she pointed to the boy. "Keywee."
"Kyle!" The boy frowned back at her.
