H EARTS AND THOUGHTS » The right reaction to, 'want it, boy?' was clearly to bark and wag his tail. The action of an untamed beast, like a domestic kitty, was to watch the movements, then scratch or pounce at it to hault it. Revelyn didn't bite, though. He just watched Reality, not tracking the boxer's movement at all. Those were his boxers. Did Reality not realize where those had been and would go? Reality touched his boxers!
Well. A big rock. That was surely enough privacy. What was he going to do, pop up from behind it to catch a glimpse? It was better than Rev's plan to sit directly behind Reality while he transformed so that he could ensure Reality's back stayed turned. No matter, this was better. Once Reality had vanished behind the rock, Rev wasted no time with the transformation. Another dull light that got brighter, then there was a boy, without clothes, sitting near a hot spring in Letha. Probably a more common scene than what had previously occupied the space-- a panther and a boy.
Rev tugged on his boxers from the pile, surprisingly calm as he did. No need to rush-- if Reality saw him, well, Reality saw him. Next came his pants before he stood up. With the under shirt and dress shirt in hand, he sauntered over to the rock while tugging the first shirt on and clutching the second. Then he peeked behind the rock at Reality with a smirk. Whether the boy had more clothes by now or not, Rev figured he'd already seen him in boxers so what was the harm?
"We had better not do that again. The last thing I need is a movie made about our adventures, like a new rendition of the Jungle Book. Staring the likeable kid and the gruff panther. May be a box office hit, but fame has never been a goal for me. " Rev offered. Not his most slick line ever, but hey, it sidestepped all the awkward things. After speaking, he moved completely to Reality's side of the rock before sliding down the rock to sit beside him. ✘rev [/blockquote] « THEY FADE AWAY ![/blockquote]

C LOUDY WILL COPY » Reality drew his pants on, struggling with the zipper. It was caught and refused to give up. He glanced up when he heard Rev and let out a bright laugh, though it was drowned out by his chin tucked down to his chest. A swore left his mouth and he kicked the rock, just as Rev joined him. "Enjoy watching me dress, eh?" A smirk wriggled onto his lips.
The zipper wouldn't give.
With a sigh, he pulled them back off and pulled them close to work on the zipper. "How the hell did this happen? No, seriously?" A sigh left him as he finally pried the zipper up. With a triumphant smile, he pulled his pants back on, though his foot got caught and he teetered. With a shout of surprise, he fell.
Maybe, if Rev didn't move, Reality fell right into his lap. A gasp shot through him. A growl lifted his throat, one from his akuma blood. "Jeez." Though, his cheeks were a bright crimson. Laughter then shot through him, made from his embarrassment. "I'm so sorry, Rev..."
His hand slid down to push himself off Rev, it was only to Real's embarrassment that perhaps it was just a bit too high on Rev's lap. He snapped his hand back and tried to get up without using anything as a leverage. If Rev didn't do anything, perhaps he rolled off of Rev's lap and struggled to his feet, quickly zipping up his pants. "Well," Real cleared his throat, pulling on his shirt. "What are we going to do first?"✘real « YOUR BEAUTIFUL CODES ![/blockquote]

H EARTS AND THOUGHTS » "It's not my fault you're taking forever, " Rev shrugged, the smirk still in place. " But since you are, I'm fine here." Not an outright agreement, but eh, it was as close as Rev would get for now. Rev's eyes did linger on Reality, the smirk shifting to a softer amused look. It was like watching a child who you wanted to help, but who you knew, if you helped, they'd get angry with you because they could do it all by themselves. Revelyn should have helped. Not helping made it more awkward because, before he knew it, Reality was in his lap. He wanted to play it off, to trap Reality there, to toy with him, give him a kiss on his cheek... Leave it to Rev to consider his options to the point that his window of opportunity closed. His mind danced with ideas as he glanced down, his expression calm. And then, his cheeks were bright red. It was an accident. It was. But... He had no words for when Reality told him sorry. He scrambled to his feet when Reality was off him, then felt more ashamed for reacting so abruptly. It wasn't like having Reality on him was that bad. If anything, he'd liked it, which was worse. Rev should have said something. It was impolite not to. No words came to mind. His mind was more or less flashing red arrows to make sure he was very aware of what just happened. Like he needed any help. When Reality asked what they were going to do first, Rev did something that he wasn't expecting himself to do. He leaned forward, wrapping his arms around Reality's neck before resting his head against Reality's right shoulder. " Today's been a weird day," Rev more or less mumbled into Reality's shirt. If he didn't hear him, Rev wasn't so sure he'd mind. He wasn't likely to repeat himself, though, that was for sure. Also, it was worth noting that wasn't an answer to either of Reality's still unanswered questions. Rev didn't seem to notice this fact. ✘rev [/blockquote] « THEY FADE AWAY ![/blockquote]

C LOUDY WILL COPY » Was Rev... flirting? The possibility warmed him, the he scowled at himself inwardly. No. Shh... It was best not to think, right? That way, things could be normal. And no one would get weirded out, or hurt. It was hard though. Especially with that look Rev had when Real was on him. It wasn't exactly like Reality wanted to get off. He was just afraid of Rev getting angry, or, not liking it. For a moment, Reality allowed himself to close his eyes and just lose himself to his thoughts.
Then, Rev had to go and do that. His touch shook at Reality's thoughts, distracting him and gnawing and pulling at him. "Today," Reality whispered, "has been an eventful and painfully confusing day." A part of Reality wanted to pretend like he didn't know what he, himself, was talking about. It felt like the whole rest of Reality wanted Rev just to kiss him instead of some lousy lick on the corner of his lips then his cheek. What was that? Really.
Clenching his teeth, just slightly, Reality tried to loosen his tense muscles. Before, when Rev pressed his head to his shirt, he had relaxed. Then his thoughts tensed them with anger. Now he had to work the anger out of the twist in his mouth and the tenseness in his body. It wasn't Rev's fault, Reality knew, but it gave a dull ache in the bottom of his stomach. Succumbing to the ache a bit, Reality wrapped his arms around Rev. "Well," he spoke softly. Well what? Well, how about I try kissing you, and we see how that goes? It could have been that easy to lift Rev's chin and taste him.
That's how scary it was. Space. He should push Rev away now and let himself calm down. His body wouldn't move. He liked where he was. Was it a crime to enjoy a friendship hug? It should be a crime on how much it hurt to point that out. Yet, was this really something belittled as friendship? Was it more of a love towards siblings? Perhaps that was it. Some siblings are amazingly close.
Reality didn't want that.
"Rev," his voice gave a yearning crack, which made him wince. Shit. He was about to ask. I was about to ask. Quickly, he searched his brain for something else, and he caught onto that thread of normalcy that seemed so far away. "Rev," his tone came out normal this time, strung with its usual perky happiness. "How about we go get a snack or something, to get something on our tummies, then we can drink for the hell of it, and then the next day, go to your family? Or, if you want, we can go to your family first. I wouldn't mind waiting."
In fact, he really wouldn't mind. Having a drink sounded really damn good. He realized his questions weren't being answered, and the embrace was continuing. So, he finally moved. He took a step away and looked Rev in the eye. Then it happened. He didn't even register what he was doing till he found himself doing it. Softly, ever so delicately and quick, his lips brushed against Rev's. It wasn't even satisfying enough to be called a kiss. Jerkily, Real stepped away and went to walk away. "What ever we are doing, let's do it." He hoped to gods his voice sounded normal.
But he also wished that it could have lasted longer.✘real « YOUR BEAUTIFUL CODES ![/blockquote]

H EARTS AND THOUGHTS » Painfully confusing? That settled it. Revelyn was not going to do anything like that again. He should never have to begin with. Now it was late, and he felt like he should regret his actions now. That was the responsible thing, right? He had to remain responsible to have hope of staying with Reality. Being sent away was unbearably plausible. Not a word left Rev. Not a single one. He hardly dared breathe, much less move or speak. When Reality spoke, only then did Rev seem to direct his full attention.
Rev was quite used to trying to notice shifts in Reality's voice and moods. This was a very obvious one. He had met Reality's gaze when Reality moved, but he tried to keep it when Reality's voice wavered. Yep. He pretty much felt like he'd failed. He gave a nod of ascension.
"Let's not bother with my family today, " Rev's tone was serious. No hint of amusement, no playfulness, and certainly no affection to his response. He was just about to look to the ground, to shuffle beside Reality, stuck in his own thoughts. Before he could, Reality kissed him. Such a light kiss. Now it was Rev's turn to wonder, what was that? Why would he want to make things more confusing? Rev stood motionless for a few seconds as Reality turned away and began walking. Not wanting to get left behind, Revelyn caught up, attempting to take Reality's right hand into his left. It ran through his mind that it might be incredibly silly, even annoying for Reality. It didn't escape him that he still hadn't put his shirt back on, but he didn't want to put it on now, so it remained clutched in his right hand, more than likely getting too wrinkled to bother with it. The only reason he didn't drop it was because he didn't want Reality's parents to see him without it. But his current attire, pants and an under shirt, suited him just fine. Letha wasn't the place for formal attire anyway with its ashen climate. --- Skip Destination: A Panterra hotel --- Rev didn't have much to say during their walk. Aside from casual conversation, more often than not a result of Reality speaking first, Rev was all but silent. When finally they reached Letha, he kept Reality close and hushed him in crowds. He was not taking chances of getting noticed by the wrong person. They entered Panterra without any fanfare (Revelyn didn't bother to even point it out, really). His parents once lived deeper into the city-- another thing Rev didn't mention. Not yet. Finally, after what felt like far too long, Rev visibly relaxed. There was a hotel. It was safer than a bar by far, and it had alcohol. Perfect. Rev lead Reality inside, grinning. " Here we are, a nice place to rest." Revelyn was clearly pleased with himself to have arrived here. His tone left no question of that. He went directly to the counter, addressing the attendant for the first available room. Still damp money was fished from his pockets and presented in return for the key which Revelyn promptly held up in front of Reality. " Floor three, room fifteen." Revelyn explained, " How about we don't mention this to your dad or your brother, hm?" He rather liked being alive. But being in a hotel in itself shouldn't have been a problem: Revelyn was charged to go wherever Reality did. Of course, unless he was merely alluding to his intentions, which perhaps he was... Surely nothing was going to happen, so what was the harm in amusing himself by pretending it could? ✘rev [/blockquote] « THEY FADE AWAY ![/blockquote]

C LOUDY WILL COPY » Reality stayed back, watching his guard pay for a room. A part of him protested, why should Rev be spending his money? Then the other quickly resorted to: What does Rev even do for himself? With a soft smile, Reality concluded that he would pay for gifts for Rev and spoil. The walk here seemed to be incredibly awkward and tight with sexual tension. Even after Reality had kissed him, Rev held his hand. What did that mean? It was tempting to stop Rev and demand answers, but Real hoped that Rev would provide him such things. His bright, orange eyes strayed down Rev's back as he spoke to the clerk. He stripped down Rev again, in his mind. Divulging himself in his thoughts, he allowed himself to remember the smoothness of Rev's skin, his muscles. He imagined his hand trailing down...
Reality jumped, visibly, when Rev spoke to him. Quickly, he banished all thoughts, but his cheeks were still colored red with shame. He and Rev shared a room all the time, what difference did a hotel make? They were alone. Anxiety tightened his gut, straightening his back. A smirk curled the edges of his lips, "How bold of you, Rev. " Laughter sprange from his lips and cleared his blush, happiness sparking the corners of his eyes. " I'm surprised you didn't get room sixty-nine." Before much else could be said, Reality tried to grab Rev's hand and eagerly pull him to the elevator. " I could use a drink. How about you?" Merrily, Reality let out a laugh. In a deeper, suggestive voice, he said, " I won't tell if you don't!" He skipped over to the elevators, probably dragging Rev along. He pushed the "up," his eyes shining. Humming, he waited for the elevator, rolling off his heals then back on them. He was a bit afraid that Rev would ask him what made him blush, he wouldn't be able to give a good answer to that. His thoughts flickered to his parents, a smirk quirking his lips. Oh, if they knew. What would they even do? Since they work so hard to protect them, would they just accept it? Or worse. Would they send Rev away? " I think," Reality sai quietly, watching the elevator doors open, " I would choose you over my family." It might be true, though it would be a hard decision. He loved his parents and his big brother, but he is dependant fully on Rev. Losing him would be like losing a limb. No, worse. Like becoming paralysed. If Rev left, and Reality wanted to cry, who would he cry to? Realizing his random outburst was quite a heavy bit of conversation, Reality gave Rev a smile. He didn't expect Rev to reply, he just felt the need to state it. He stepped forward into the elevator as it opened, avoiding people left it. ✘real [/blockquote] « YOUR BEAUTIFUL CODES ![/blockquote]

H EARTS AND THOUGHTS » "Yeah- I... I didn't want to walk that far. " Rev mumbled, not seeming to leave any room for pauses to help distinguish which word was which. His face was bright red at the idea, anyway, which was one motivation for him to just let Reality tug him along to the elevator. " Uh-huh," Rev grinned, replying to the question of getting a drink. When they were in the elevator, he let Reality keep hold of his hand if he wanted to. His attention was on the numbers rising as he stated, " I don't think they'd approve." Rev may not have liked the authority that Luther and Reality's parents provided, but he was not at all accepting of the idea of being chosen over them. For all his worries about being sent away, the new prospect of taking Reality with him was even more frightening. The idea inspired anger of all things, though now wasn't the time to get upset with Reality. He kept quiet to avoid letting the anger into his voice. Rev took the lead. If he could have, he would have let Reality's hand go, but he didn't intentionally pull his hand away, he merely kept his grip loose as he lead him down the hallway to the room. It wasn't difficult to figure out how the key worked. The door opened, so Rev gestured for Reality to enter first. He didn't press the issue of who went first: figuring that either way they'd end up both inside, Rev entered, setting the key and his shirt on the nearest surface-- it happened to be a round coffee table with a vase of purple flowers, no doubt to brighten the room. Once it was set down, he wasted no time shuffling to the refrigerated cabinet they kept stocked. It was a money trap, but Rev didn't mind as he pulled it open and dug out a bottle of golden whiskey. It was his favorite, along with rum. Kicking the door closed to discourage Reality from getting his own bottle before he could kiss him, Rev walked to Reality, placing a hand against Real's chest as he held the whiskey out of reach. " This first, just in case you wander down these halls and find someone more appealing tonight," Rev murmured, leaning close and kissing Reality. There was no hesitation, no hurry, no nervousness- simply a kiss to the lips. When he pulled away, he gently pressed the bottle of alcohol to Reality's chest, his cheeks lighted red again. " Here, Real," There. With any luck, now there'd be no confusing that, even sober, he still liked Reality. ✘rev [/blockquote] « THEY FADE AWAY ![/blockquote]

C LOUDY WILL COPY » Confusion ran through Reality. Was Rev mad at him? He kept his chin ducked down to his chest as the elevator rose. As Rev's hand loosened, he allowed it to fall away from his grasp and idly followed behind Rev. Thoughts swarmed his mind as he walked towards the door--which he nearly missed. Without a second though, he entered the room that was opened for him.
A smirk lifted the corner of his lips, "Ladies first then, Rev? So cruel... so cruel..." He shook his head, trying to lighten the mood with a light laugh. Rev's silence was unnerving this time. His eyes watched the rug as Rev went past him, heading towards the fridge. His mouth pressed together, tightly, as he watched Rev's every movement.
His eyes fell down to his chest. An eyebrow quirked up, along with the smirk that curled his lips. "Someone mo-" A surprised noise was muffled by Rev's kiss. He watched Rev with wide, shocked eyes, numbly taking the bottle as he gaped at Rev.
It wasn't enough.
"Rev," his voice cracked with his shock. He stepped forward, a bit numbly, but moved to hook his free hand behind Rev's neck. Experimentally, he pressed his lips to Rev's, at first, it was a hesitant peck, then he moved for a longer kiss. Granted, he wasn't an experienced kisser. His kisses were soft, unsure. Even if they only counted up to three delivered kisses, and one received.
Then, he stepped away, his whole face a deep red. "Okay." He squeaked, he wasn't really too ashamed of his squeaking--the kisses took all of his focus. "I'm not confused anymore. I don't think." He moved to open up his own bottle, he took a small drink. Then he took a longer one. Oh shit. Oh shit oh shit....✘real « YOUR BEAUTIFUL CODES ![/blockquote]

H EARTS AND THOUGHTS » Rev smirked when Reality stepped away. Hearing Reality wasn't confused, Rev nodded, quite pleased to hear that. Seeing Reality taking to the alcohol so quickly kept the smirk in place as Rev glanced around the room briefly. It was small, cheap, but there was a queen sized bed with a disgustingly floral pattern. It mixed hues and shades of green with dull pinks and browns tossed in as flowers and the background. At least there was a modest entertainment stand and a television within sight from the bed. That was certainly a bonus. It even appeared to have a VCR! Talk about high tech. No video tapes were visible, and Rev wasn't about to search for them.
On the walls were paintings and a doorway to the bathroom which, undoubtedly left open now to show off how clean it was, revealed that there was a single shower, a counter with cupboards beneath, a small mirror mounted to the wall with a visible crack in the bottom right corner, and a sink that even from far away looked unrepairably stained. Not visible to the eye was the single robe hanging behind the bathroom door.
That left the bedside table to the right of the bed, the refrigerated alcohol box, a small, four-chair dining table, and a microwave poised atop the table unceremoniously. No windows, which actually upset Rev a considerable amount. The flicker of disapproval was replaced when he moved to the bed, tossing of the top comforter over the back of the bed to reveal green sheets and pillow cases. Rev plopped down onto the bed, wasting no time in taking what should have been Real's pillow into his lap to hug to his chest. His own pillow was behind him, being leaned upon while the rest of his back was pressed against the headboard of the bed.
"These sheets are itchyyy, " Rev whined. Actually, they weren't. They weren't as comfortable as the ones he had on his own bed in Reality's room, but they were regular cotton threaded sheets. Holding the pillow tighter to his chest, he kept his knees straight so that his legs extended down the bed, occupying most of the section that was 'his'-- he chose the right side, facing the entrance door they'd come through. That was intentional. He was slightly tempted to lay directly in front of it, just to be doubly sure no one would come in without rousing him. Did Rev mentioned that staying away from Reality's home was quite stressful? It was. ✘rev [/blockquote] « THEY FADE AWAY ![/blockquote]

C LOUDY WILL COPY » Real moved towards the bed, he slipped off his shoes and socks then went to sit on Rev's legs. "You're so spoiled~" He took another sip from the bottle then moved, reaching for a cup. "I think we need some ice." He slid off of Rev's legs, grabbing the ice container. "I will be right back!"
If he could, he padded towards the door and left the room. Yeah. He probably realized that Rev would follow, but maybe this could be the fast trip, like the one he had planned. He found the ice machine quickly, putting ice into the bucket. He hummed cheerily, but his cheeks were a soft pink.
He kissed me, I kissed him. And now we're drinking and stay in a hotel room, single bed. Or, 'une chambre un lit' as they say~ He sighed, shaking his head. Finding the bucket full, he placed the lid back on the bucket and moved to go back into the room.
Then a hand caught his arm, the ice broke free from his hands at the force, crashing to the ground. Anger, like hot iron, sparked in him, but instead of snapping he let out a laugh, "Woops!" He glanced up to meet the gaze a cold blue. He suddenly understood the ferocity of his anger. It was a ketsuki.
"Akuma," the ketsuki snarled. "Sir," Reality glanced around, wishing Rev followed him. "Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I will just gather more ice and then go. Really." His eyes flickered up to the ketsuki, "Really sorry." His throat closed with fear. Even if he had already Awakened, he wouldn't be that much of a threat. Not even half a threat. The hold on his arm was starting to hurt. He gave an uncomfortable pull, pressing his lips tightly together.✘real « YOUR BEAUTIFUL CODES ![/blockquote]
