Chance had to stay level-headed, he knew all to well. While the two men were distracted, he surveyed the situation. He could put a shield around them and try to run, or, they could go in. Or... he could get Mimi to run. His eyes flickered towards the side, but he was too cautious to turn his back on the men. Instead, he crouched down, carefully, and moved to Damos' ear. In it, he whispered, "Mimi, I want you to get away. I want you to run."
It sounded like a stupid idea. It could put a bullet in her, if he didn't distract them. "Okay? Think here, you're too frightened to act, Mimi. I can probably distract them, and I will put a light shield up to block the bullets. Can you do that? Mimi? Can you? Can you run? If you can't, if you're too afraid, stick with Annabelle." Chance scratched Damos behind the ear before standing, then Annabelle spoke.
"No," Chance snarled, protectiveness shifting through him. "No, they won't touch either of you." The lanky stepped forward, his movement was so fast that he blurred before Chance's eyes. Dyl was on Chance, and not even a moment later, Chance was slammed into the side wall.
Sickness and anger rolled through Chance, and soon Dyl let out a scream, holding his bleeding eye. He threw a bloodied card onto the ground and backed away, swearing. "The fuck! The fuck! A card!? YOU STABBED ME WITH A CARD?!"
Chance's vision still fuzzed at the edges, he was unable to respond. His eyebrows pressed together till he shot forward, only to be grabbed by Owen and lifted into the air, spun upside down. All breath left Chance as he stared at the wooden boards "above" him. "Alright, enough! Or I break you!"
"Okay! Okay! I'm done, I am done. It was his fault, for the record, he charged at me." Chance's voice held no fear or pain, but it was certainly breathless. Oh god, Jax, these guys are tough.
Don't die.

(Forgive me if Mimi suddenly turns useless, I'm trying to make this as realistic as possible)
All she heard were words. Words that held no meaning. Her eyes stayed locked on the ground before her, focused on nothing in particular. She wanted to move, wanted to run, wanted to fight all at once. Movement caught her eyes. She watched helplessly as the men practically manhandled Chance into submission. She felt hot tears swelling in her eyes. She couldn't move, but she wanted to.
Anger boiled in Damos' chest and he launched himself at the already wounded man. It was stupid, he knew, to provoke them further, but he didn't have much choice. His partner was unresponsive to any of his probing and her guardian was being overpowered. He snapped at the air, hoping to catch something in his jaws. He just needed something so that he could inflict as much pain as possible on these men.
Annabelle paused glancing up at Chance when he stood over the two girls, protecting them. She blinked, once, twice, making sure she wasn't seeing things. A ghost of her sister stood before her, in the place of Chance. It was like that, back then too. She stayed where she was, feeling power surge through her very core. The beast was breaking its bonds.
"Now, now, boys. Is that any way your mother taught you to treat your guests?" A wolfish smile cracked her mask. For a moment beast and host lived as one. Then the host let the beast seize control. Annabelle felt her body begin to contort and warp as the beast awoke. A beastly howl echoed from her now massive jaws. She glared at the man pinning Chance and lunged at him, hoping to catch him with her outstretched claws.

(LOL No, it's okay, I just... *sobs* I am just trying XD I am terrible with action)
The man screamed against as the wolf attacked him, "Damn wolves! Damn it!" He yelped then took out his gun, trying to hit Damos with the butt of it anywhere that he could reach on the animal. He fell back onto his butt, losing hold of his fun, but he grabbed the gun and aimed it towards Damos. "Stop! Or I shoot you in the damn head! Stop!" He quickly pulled the trigger.
Chance yowled in panic, his magic fighting to shield Damos, even if the wolf jumped out of the way. It depends on Moon if she wants her character shot. He became breathless as his eyes found Annabelle. Then she changed. At first, the look of her terrified him. He knew it terrified the man that held him upside-down because the hold on him tightened to the point to cause Chance pain. Then, he became fascinated. Akuma, she's an akuma.
The man cried out when Annabelle shot towards them, he dropped Chance and lifted his arms to shield the attacks. More men were running towards them because of the screams. Own backed away from Annabelle, nearly turning and running away, but his boss scared him more than Annabelle ever could.
Another blow to the head. Chance wasn't going to get out of this without a concussion or something. Dazed, he allowed his body to slump down till he laid stretched out on the wood. With a few gasping breaths, he moved towards Mimi, trying to pull her to his chest. Closing his eyes, he searched for other emotions to distract her with, to pull her out of the state that she fell in.
"Mimi," he murmured, looking around to see what happened to Damos, only to see a couple more men with guns pointed towards them. "Mimi, it's okay, shh... it's okay." Closing his eyes, he tried to remember moments when he was happy and loved, even small trickles of embarrassment.
(More men, if you want. Do they get handcuffed here and run away, or do they meet her ex and somehow escape from that?)

(Nah, it's fine I can work with it. Action is my specialty, it's the dull moments that kill me XD As for what happens, it's initiation time for Annie, so she'll probably get a bit more banged up before it all ends. But I think they should meet Arthis since he's there, whatever you want~)
Unfortunately for the man, Damos didn't stop. He was beyond fury at this point. He felt the man's gun slam against the side of his skull and he swerved away, landing to the side of the man. His pupils dilated and he dug his claws into the ground as he pivoted. In one fluid motion he used his momentum to sprint at the man. He ducked under the man's arms and jumped up, kicking his paws out to slam against his chest. His open jaws, snapped at the man's gun hand.
Annabelle growled as her claws sliced through thin air. Not what she was hoping for, but she was glad he was away from Chance. However, to her surprise he didn't run. That made things more difficult. Another growl and she stalked closer to the man, preparing to pin him down and maul whatever her claws or jaw found purchase on.
The sound of gunfire pounded against her acute eardrums and she turned, only to have a bullet bury itself in her right shoulder. She howled in a mixture of fury and pain. Wild eyed she glared at the source of the bullet. Her molten pink eyes focused on a dark haired man aiming a pistol at Chance and Mimi. With a renewed fire, she charged at the man, her jaws closing on the man's arm.
The dark haired man screamed in pain, dropping his weapon. He struggled with the beast on his arm. His frantic struggles turned to enraged punches against Annabelle's skull.
Irritated that the man had not turned tail, Annabelle deepened her bite and used her superior strength to push the man over. Once pinned she moved her jaws from his arm to his throat. A moment of teeth meeting flesh and he was finished. She moved back toward Owen, ready give him the same fate, should he make any moves toward Chance or Mimi.
Mimi could feel Chance moving toward her. Despite all that was around her, she reached for him. She could feel the positive emotions flowing from him. She tried her best to block out the other emotions and focus on the positive ones. "Bi...Big...Brother." Her voice was slowly coming back. She was beginning to break through. At least that was the case, until she felt her hair being yanked back and an arm locking around her throat. Even with her sudden lack of air she still managed to scream.
(T_T I feel so evil for what I just did. I need a corner *dies in corner*)

This is probably why these people hated wolves. The man felt pain rip into him, shooting up his arm and shocking his grip. Within a few moments, his main weapon clattered to the ground. A chocking cry shoved up the man's throat as tears shook the corner of his eyes; all of his balance started to leave him--he was tilting backwards. As soon as his back crashed into the ground, all breath left him. Too shocked to move, he lay there completely vulnerable. All anger and pride left him with one single plea: To live. Tears fell from the man's eyes as whimpers and cries broke free from their chains and sprang from his lips, "Please! I don't want to die! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Don't kill me... don't kill me..."
Owen heard his partner pleading for mercy, yet he stood, unable to move. If he had thought quick enough, he might have been able to use the gun distraction to grab the woman's hair and possibly use the leverage to throw her against the ground, maybe stomp on her chest till she stopped moving. His superior strength had gotten him his position, but it was also his slow reactions and fast-as-a-snail brain that kept him in the position he was in. For a few moments, he stood stone-still, watching as his comrade tried to dislodge the beast.
The day still shined brightly, how could a creature of the night be this powerful? Perhaps they were too weak. Not before long, Owen found himself staring wide-eyed at one of the men that he once played poker with and lost to; his friend lay dead on the ground with his throat torn out. Anger twitched the corner of Owen's mouth down; it filled his eyes with rage and clenched his teeth so tightly that his jaws became numb. "You bitch."
His hands clenched tightly together in the mix of his rage, his other friend's miserable cries only worsened Owen's rage. The large man started to hate the lanky man for his weakness towards this beast. Taking out a small knife from his belt, Owen launched himself at Annabelle, his powerful muscles powering him as he tried to slam his fist into the soft flesh of her belly. With the knife, he clumsily thrust it forward with an angry cry parting his lips. It didn't matter if he died now, if he died, at least he did so fighting.
Shock parted Chance's lips as soon as Mimi was ripped away from him. For a few precious seconds, he took in the whole world through slow motion. Her scream split through him, narrowing down into the very being of himself, chilling his whole body with panic and fear. It took only two more seconds before a powerful voice in his head commanded, Chance, NOW!
As fast as a lynx, Chance sprung up with his fingers held out before him like claws. Violence? Chance hated it. He hated it so much, but that didn't matter. His movements didn't even seem like his, instincts tell him to continue. One hand reached back and grabbed the man's hair as the other reached for the other precious parts of a man's body: the eyes. Two of his fingers plunged, or at least tried to, into the mans eyes, with as much strength at Chance could muster.
Inside him, he could feel Jax's presence firing in his muscles, as if the lynx was whispering into Chance's ear, telling him what to do. The lynx protected Chance from the feeling of sickness or raw guilt that came from harming a man in such a way, as did the need to protect Mimi. No thoughts crossed his mind as he clawed at the man's face. The only lingering thoughts in his mind were: I dragged her into this.
(ARE YOU PROUD OF ME!? I TRIED SO HARD XDDDDD And don't worry ;~; sorry if that wasn't what you had in mind. I'vetorturedmycharactersalotworsethanthis. But poor Chance, I have a feeling he's not going to be able to forget this man's, or any other man that he might kill, face for a while and might even had nightmares about killing people... poorpoorhim. the failure of a pacifist.)

This wasn't him. He did not torture or maim men. He only killed when he had to, but that certainly never applied to men. Only one other time could he remember killing a man with his own teeth and that was back when they met Chance. Then again, that man had a gun pointed at his head. Damos heard the sound of a weapon clatter against the ground. He growled, his teeth still encircled the man's wrist. He was unarmed. He felt his muscles twitch and he jerked his head to twist the man's wrist. He was no killer and he never killed an unarmed man. He stepped away in disgust and hurried over to Mimi's side. Mimi RUN!
The man felt Chance's claws in his eyes and he screamed. He hadn't prepared himself to defend against this attack. He fell back against the ground, all the air leaving him when he felt the crazed man on top of him. His muscles were paralyzed from the shock. He was completely helpless. (I dunno if Chance really pushed him over, it kinda sounded like he did DX)
Mimi stared at what was happening before her. Her once peaceful older brother had been transformed into a crazed man bent on murder. And it's all my fault... She felt her tears returning. Why was she so useless when her brother, even her partner needed her? She felt energy flow through her and she was up and running. She felt Damos at her side. She didn't want to leave him, but she knew he had wanted her to. Bullets flew over her head as she and Damos darted for the exit. To her surprise a sudden weight slammed against her and she slid across the floor.
MIMI! Damos skidded to a halt and dug his nails into the ground as he turned back for his partner. However he felt the blade of a knife bury itself in his hindquarters. He yelped in pain, feeling a new murderous fire spring to life. He turned toward the man, his burning orange eyes intent on maiming.
All the air escaped her as she hit the ground. She coughed struggling to breathe. Then a hand closed around her throat and she was weightless once more. She struggled against the vice-like grip around her throat. She felt the fire from Damos and grabbed for her knife. Slowly she eased it out of its holster and struck out, not caring what she caught with her blade.
The man dropped her feeling her blade slash across his face. He stumbled back holding his face in pain. Though his breath caught in his throat as he felt the knife bury itself in his side again and again. Mimi's panicked attempts to break free had manifested themselves into a violent attack on the man.
Annabelle wasn't prepared for the sudden attack and was knocked back. The air left her lungs as the man slammed his fist into her stomach. Her gaping jaws flew open in a silent cry only to be snapped close as his blade embedded itself into her chest just below her collarbone. She growled in a mix of pain, struggling with the man. Sure she was strong, but with the combination of daylight and her injuries she wasn't exactly at her peak. Another bullet bit into her calf and she felt her legs give out. Even on her knees she continued to fight him. Enraged she buried her teeth into his shoulder.
(YES BEBE I IS SO PROUD! XDD I just kinda rolled with it. But I mean I have too, remember Obbie? Mimi though, I feel like I've just kicked an adorable little puppy *dies* D8 Oh man poor Chance too! He's gonna be scared too.)

The world, slow and hazy, blurred in and out around Chance. His heart sped in his chest, hitting hard against his ribs. Instinct clouded his thoughts and morality. Then, it all snapped back. Wide-eyed and shocked, Chance stared down at the man beneath him, his fingers coated in blood. Feeling sick, Chance covered the man's nose and mouth. Hopefully, he'd pass out. Sickness sloshe around his stomach, the corner of his lips turning down and getting ready for his stomach to empty its contents.
Shakily, Chance moved away from the man. If his previous action worked, the man was now blinded and possibly passed out. He held no danger to him now. Gun shots called for his attention, he saw a man shooting at Annabelle. Closing his thoughts, Chance aimed his cards and threw them. Their targets were the man's hands and eyes. Even if he appeared calm, Chance felt worse than he's ever had his entire existence. Annabelle entered his vision again.
The man, Owen, let his head fall back as a roar of pain sparked and fired from his lips. He lifted his fist to slam it down on Annabelle's head, but it never landed. Somehow, Chance got his fingers on a knife and had thrust it into the man's arm, anger twisting his faces, "I thought," he gasped, "that it was improper to hit lady." Owen stared at the blade thrust deeply into his arm and finally let out a scream. With the combination of Annabelle, all his wounds, and the knife, his eyes rolled back and he blacked out. The large man teetered backwards, slowly slumping to the ground.
Chance moved to get the knife when a clap came from behind them, then sick, twisted laughter shook the air. "My my, Annabelle dear. Aren't you looking..." his mouth quirked down to show his displeasure, "uh, pleasant." Once again, the previous sadistic smile spilled onto Arthis' lips. "This certainly escalated, don't you think?" Breathing heavily, Chance turned to glare at the man before him. Who was this?
Arthis glanced at Chance, the two sized each other up for a few breaths until Chance stood up straight, but he also tried to hold a hand out for Annabelle. To do what? He didn't know. Perhaps to lift her and hold her to his side, or to reassure her that she was not alone. While Chance stared down Arthis, he stood in a lapse of a dizzying world. DI'd he dare to look around and see Mimi? No... he couldn't face the chance that she might be dead.

Annabelle let the man fall from her jaws, watching as his body fell limp. She ripped out the knife he had buried in her chest. She knew she definitely feel all of this tomorrow, and probably for a long while after that. But right now pain was the furthest from her mind. Her ears flicked at the sound of his voice. She felt a savage growl roll through her chest and she turned. A barrage of emotions assaulted her mind. Yet anger overwhelmed any fear she had. "And here I thought you'd never join the party. What the hell are you doing here Arthis?"
Despite the lapse of action around Chance and Annabelle, there were indeed more men around. But they stayed back, waiting for orders from their leader. If he wanted to talk, they'd sit idly by and watch. But should he choose to give the order they were ready. Their guns were aimed at either of the intruders' chests and their fingers were on the triggers.
Annabelle glanced around, noting their extreme disadvantage. It seemed as if all the guns were trained on them. One wrong move and the both of them would end up dead. She glanced down at his legs, seeing the familiar gleam of his family pistols. "Still got those damn guns, I see. What, did you load them full of silver just for me?" Her wolfish lips curled into a sick smile. "How thoughtful of you." She spat a curse at him.
Panic seized her muscles and Mimi felt her muscles burn as she scrambled away from the bleeding body, leaving her knife buried in it. She felt sick and disorientated. All she knew was that she had to run. She had to run, just like Chance had told her to do. And run she did.
In moments Damos was at her side, his jaws and fur soaked with blood. He whimpered a bit as he struggled to keep pace with his partner. But as soon as he had caught up to her, they were forced to stop. A line of men, many of which had guns, lined their only exit. It was a trap.
And we fell right into it. Mimi took a step back, feeling her panic mount. She was defenseless and severely outnumbered. Even if she had managed to fight some off, they still had guns. She swallowed thickly, trying to work out a solution. Gun before she could she felt something slam against her head and her body slumped over, limp and unconscious.
