Gabriel's fatigue was more than easy to notice. Malcolm looked over at Timothy, already deciding he was going to stay. "Do you mind turning off the lights?"
With a long breath, Timothy walked over with a deep blush and flicked off the lights. In the darkness, in which he could see clearly, he slid off his shoes and dragged himself onto the bed. He took his scarf out from his jacket and wrapped it around his neck before burying his face into the fabric.
Malcolm carefully pulled the blankets over him and Gabriel and then pulled Gabriel close. "You look really cute," Malcolm whispered. "Get a lot of sleep, okay?" He buried his nose in Gabriel's hair and smiled happily.

The space next to him was unoccupied, maybe, by the time Gabriel finally stirred. He wasn't sure how long he had been asleep either or what the time was. The ketsuki let out a little baby yawn as he sat up, pulling the blankets off of him. His ghostly purple gaze flickered around the room for a moment, looking around for his new found son and Malcolm. "What time is it?" Gabriel inquired sleepily, rubbing his tired face with his tiny baby hands.

Timothy sat by his headboard with Malcolm sitting at the foot of his bed. The kid wasn't that much of a conversationalist, but Timothy gathered that Malcolm was a servant--but he didn't think his father would have a child servant with him. Especially with the way Gabriel treated the little guy. It.. it made Timothy feel a little jealous, and unwanted.
Though little Malcolm ate heartily at his food, and he was practically done with Gabriel spoke up. "Gabriel," Malcolm said, "Timmy wouldn't buy me any hot chocolate... he said it was too early in the morning..."
A blush filled Timothy's cheeks. "It is too early, s-sir... It's about eleven in the morning, sir."

Gabriel grunted something inaudible about the time as he once again rubbed his face. Why was he still so tired? "Please stop addressing me as 'sir,'" the ancient ketsuki was able to push out. "It took enough time (maybe) for me to get Malcolm to address me by my name. You're allowed to do the same." Another cute baby yawn parted his lips. "We will get you some hot chocolate later, Malcolm. Timothy is right; it's much too early for that. Perhaps after we get lunch I will buy you some."

Timothy watched Gabriel curiously before leaning towards Malcolm and whispering, "I don't know how he can sound so reprimanding while looking so young." The giggle that left Malcolm made Timothy feel incredibly accomplished. Maybe it was because the child looked as if he needed a few more laughs in his life. Very sneakily, Timothy slid a small piece of chocolate to Malcolm, only because he felt bad for denying the child.
The kid was really good, because Timothy didn't even see him pop it in his mouth, but he saw him chewing with glee. Timothy slid off the bed and tried to adjust his suit--which was somewhat pointless because he had slept in it. "S-" Timothy cut himself off from saying 'sir', and he blushed considerably. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Malcolm smirk. It felt too awkward to say 'Gabriel', and definitely felt outright stupid to say 'father', so instead, Timothy turned to Gabriel. "We should probably buy clothes that fit you... if you like..." Taking in a breath, Timothy fiddled with the scarf around his neck. Why did he feel so nervous? "I should probably gather more of my own clothes."
Even if Timothy didn't say "sir", it probably could be heard in every pause.

Timothy's nervousness was easily detected by Gabriel and not even he could understand why. "You have no need to be so nervous, Timothy. I would understand feeling awkward, but there's no reason to be nervous. I'm not going to harm you and I haven't shunned you. Just relax." The tiny ketsuki hopped off the bed with great reluctance. "Very well, we can go out and get lunch for Malcolm. But in the meantime, I can't go out with my clothes that are now twice as large. Malcolm, do you have any extra clothes with you that might fit me?"

Was his anxiety that easily detectable? Timothy stared up at Gabriel, and then slowly he felt a crushing feeling on his chest. Out of the corner of his eye, he could sense Malcolm grinning. His affinity. A slow, red blush filled his cheeks. "I-I-I-... o-of course..." Timothy quietly made his way over towards the nearest window, standing as close as he dared with the sun. He held his face in the palm of his hand, feeling embarrassment rush through him. Relax? How could Timothy relax?
Malcolm pushed himself off the bed and grinned slightly, "Timmy can always wear your clothes!" He meandered towards his little pack and searched through it. He knew that he was given a too-small set of clothes, mostly because his cousins didn't really bother to find out what size he wore. Taking out the clothes, he walked over to Gabriel and smiled more softly at him. "You can see how these fit."

Poor Gabriel, he stared down at the clothes Malcolm handed him with uncertainty. Over a thousand years old and this was certainly a new experience. "I suppose he could wear my clothes if he needs to," he started in his adorable little voice. "I certainly won't be able to wear them for some time." As best as he could with his disability, the ancient ketsuki wrestled on the clothes Malcolm handed him. And when he was finally finished, they were no doubt too loose for him, but they weren't falling off the way his own clothes would if he tried wearing them. Baby Gabriel let out a defeated sigh and looked up at Malcolm with a look that could only be described as a little pout. "I feel very foolish.." Poor baby Gabe.

Malcolm turned to Gabriel, holding a soft smile. He walked towards Gabriel and gently wrapped his arms around Gabriel. "You look don't look as foolish as Timmy does." A wide smile spread Malcolm's lips and he said quietly, "Gabriel, you're not a fool." He then reached down and carefully lifted Gabriel up and he smiled over towards Timothy. "You'll be in clothes that fit, soon. And even sooner you'll be a giant again." His clever eyes watched Gabriel. "I like you like this, because I can always see your face…" Timothy cleared his throat by the window, causing Malcolm to look over at him. His back was still towards him. Quietly, Malcolm added, "I think he's nervous, because he doesn't know what to do with you. I mean, I might feel really nervous if my daddy didn't know me, or if he acted upset to see me. I would be worried if my daddy would rather I didn't find him at all." His eyes flickered over to Gabriel again and he nuzzled into the side his head. "Maybe like this, you can get to know Timmy more…"

Gabriel's gaze flickered from Malcolm to Timothy. When had Malcolm gotten so mature? "Timothy, you shouldn't feel nervous. And don't think I'm upset you're here now. If I was, I would have sent you away already. Please, just understand that.. this is a lot to take in, me having a son, let alone any surviving family." Despite himself, the tired old man couldn't help but lull his wait against Malcolm. The boy's hold was comfortable and warm, and he didn't have to worry about watching where he was going. "You will have to forgive me, I just need time to wrap my head around the situation." Gabriel let out a sigh that sounded more like a huff and he closed his eyes. "One day at a time. Let's just worry about buying some new clothing. Malcolm, could you grab my wallet? It's tucked away some where in my coat."
