It's Obvious; He's Not Happy

His heart pounded heavily against his chest as his wide, cyan blue eyes flickered back and forth in a bit of panic. Fear was crawling up his spine with sweat clinging to his skin. His freckles grew worse under the exposure of the sun, but it'd get better soon. Corps preferred pale skin over tan, always.
Carefully, he moved through the hedges, clutching onto his shirt. He couldn't remember having this much fun before. A small smile flickered on his lips. Swallowing down his pride, he had to admit. Abebe was pretty good. For being an adult, he was very playful and outgoing. He was the cop, and well, Corps was the robber. Maybe Mathias too.
Perking his dog ears, Corps heard a shuffle of movement behind him. Despite all of his training in the last fourteen years, and before that, he had to admit. Abebe was good. "Found you~" The dark voice sent chills of fright down Corps' back but he let out a laugh and a fake cry of fear.
Launching himself forward, Abebe was close being. Wind lashed around them as Abebe chased after Corps. His feet hit the pavement, maybe he could escape Abebe again. This guy can sure offer some fun to this game! Getting rid of his ears, Corps continued around the castle and started heading towards the gate when his feet slowed and he looked up with a surprised, blank look.
Ahead of him was a whole heard. Stampede! Corps inwardly taunted. Immediately he recognized his target- no. Er, the Orochi, Damien. And nearly all those who cared about Damien and who were present recognized him too. Man, did Corps feel all eyes on him.
"Your mistake for stopping~" Abebe cried then weight collapsed onto Corps, his breath left him and he was squashed onto the ground. Pinning him down, Abebe laughed. "Ha! Cops always win!" His blue eyes lowered down onto Corps' cyan ones that looked at him begrudgingly.
"Abebe?" A surprise shock had both boys look up. Ha ha! Ab. What you going to do? So much for a cop! That chick looks pissed! Corps gave a smug look but instantly regretted it when the prince pinched his cheek, Corps couldn't help the small yelp of pain that left him.
Amara stepped forward, slowly branching away from Chase. "What are you doing?" Her eyes were narrowing with disapproval. "Please, for the sake of Era, don't tell me you were playing games."
"No no~ I wasn't little sis," Abebe grinned and lifted Corps up, slinging an arm around him. "I was... just catching a little thief." A smirk formed on his lips as he looked down at Corps who looked like an ant compared to the tall Niyol who stood beside him. Corps glowered.
Kasimir stood in the front, ish. He stood there to make sure none of the herd strayed to far. His seductive electric eyes watched the scene play before him. No, he wasn't too impressed. Focusing on hearing, Kasimir went to listen for anyone else that might of been playing this 'game.' A noble such as himself didn't go outside and joined the peasants in their petty games, he was too busy getting knowledge shoved down his throat by his father.
Kaleb on the other hand was circling around the large group, something he had gotten use to doing. He would check around the group for anyone looking uneasy and hurt while his few bats (really, he just had three) which were white flew overhead and watched for anyone else unsettled.
If in fact he did see someone unsettled, he made his way to him or her and calmly asked her what was wrong then did his best to fix it. At the beginning, he had taken the 'adult' stand, along with Kasimir, though he had also taken the lead a bit too. After realizing that Kasimir would be better at leading him, he fell back a bit and focused on the group a bit, appearing like a helpful younger (or maybe even older to some) brother who was honestly worried about them.
Even with Kenneth there.
Yes, Kaleb wanted desperately to cling to Kenneth's side, but Kenneth was busy and even Aeryn and (maybe) Austin could see that. Alec had given Kenneth a hug when he came back, but seeing the look in Scott's eye, he backed off and waited for the Malaki to get better. Even with his partner dead.
It had been a quiet talk among the teens, they couldn't help themselves. (Well, at least Cloudy's characters.) They whispered of the Golden Brother's abusive father, or at least they guessed, making speculations about Scott's scar and uttering sympathy for the boy who lost his half.
Scott himself couldn't help it. He didn't feel like faking it. Maybe not so surprisingly, he was acting a lot like Elijah to the others, cold and distant. Even a bit to his brothers, but he still hung around them, attached to them with small strings.
Alec, while Kenneth was gone, had started to try some magic of his own. He was trying to get every one to pull back together. Poor Patch though, maybe, if Patch cared, Alec didn't seem to be taking too much attention to him. The little isoke would give the Skritek a friendly wave but he would focus his attention on more of talking to the others. Maybe he had taken Kenneth's advice and started talking to Elaine. Or, maybe if Shadow wanted her and Cloudy could roleplay that scene out a bit later.
This was it, the castle. They were at the castle, Amara's home. Rylan's key. Even with his lung feeling like shit, Rylan had been a buzz of energy since they started heading here. He was even talking to Aeryn and (maybe) Austin more, taking full advantage of the two twins that had offered to be his friends. It was a start, at least.
The castle was in it's full glory, made out of stone and concrete, it stood tall in the sky giving out the Niyol's glory. Large, stone and slightly enchanted walls wrapped around the castle with guards posted on them, making sure no unwanted guest got in. Around the castle was beautiful gardens and fountains that shot far into air.
Humming with a bit of energy itself, wind blew gently around the castle with gentle winds. This was home. All of it put a stone in the pit of Amara's stomach. While the others might be watching Abebe and Corps, her eyes were now up and watching the window which held a scowling man. Fear tickled her.
He didn't look too happy at all.
Welcome home, Amara.
(If you didn't know what to do with Mathias , I had an idea where he could try and 'attack' Abebe to free his robber friend XDDDDDD thus giving it all away that they were truly playing a game.)
(Sorry.... it's long....)
