Landon stood quickly with his heard pounding in his throat. "Yes, I came in with Aliyah. How is she doing?" He bit his inner cheek. He knew the doctor would tell him, but he couldn't keep from waiting. It was so important that Aliyah survived, but he didn't know why. He only guessed it was because he saved her, and he wanted her to be safe.

He only wants her to be okay because everyone there wants the D. Plus have you seen Landon's chest? Holy shit.
The doctor looked up at him again and smiled. "She's going to be just fine. Lucky for her, any internal damage was minimal and the wound's been stitched and wrapped. Would you like to see her?" She asked. "She's awake if you wanted to." But probably still tired and waking up from being under but oh well, Landon could probably still talk to her. And maybe, if Cloudy wants, Aliyah's manager could stop in later and offer Landon a job.

Landon found imself nodding. "Yes, please, right away." His eyes shined with worry. He paused and looked down at himself, some of her blood covered him. Now he knows what a period looks like. He unbuttoned his dress shirt and pulled it off. Unfortunately, he wore a thin black t-shirt, so no eye candy for the doctor. He folded the dress shirt up and threw it into a trash can. "Is she doing well?" He probably still held her phone. "Is she still frightened?" His own heart was hammering, but it wasn't because of fear.
When should the manager come in?

The manager can come in whenever you want them to, or whenever we run out of anything to say.
"She's doing fine, we gave her a relaxant to calm her down," the doctor explained with a smile, turning to walk down the hall so she could take him to Aliyah's room. "We'll be keeping her over night to keep an eye on the stitching and to fully check for any kind of internal damage. But she's awake right now so you'll be able to talk to her. This way." And that was when she began walking away, whether or not Landon followed because the doctor probably had other patients to visit and she needed to hurry up.
Dina is sorry

Landon quickly followed after the doctor, right on her heels. The heroic part of him needed to make sure she was okay. He wondered who he should call for her--family? A boyfriend?--to tell them what happened. He would ask. When they reached her room, he shyly peeled open the door and peeked inside. "Aliyah?" He tentatively called out and stepped completely into the room. No other words escaped his lips. He didn't know what else to say. It was obvious she wasn't alright, but he also wondered how the entire thing affected her.

Since Landon had found the room and had gone inside, the doctor didn't really need to be there anymore, so she left, off to take care of other patients. In the room, Aliyah laid in the bed, nestled comfortably under blankets with a few IVs poking out of one of her arms. On a table next to her sat plenty of bottles of water because that was important to any syreni. But Aliyah, despite being told that she was going to be just fine, looked as if she hadn't slept in weeks. Going through an ordeal like that, if you didn't live in that kind of dangerous world like that, no doubt zapped her of energy and strength. When she saw Landon, her tired green gaze flickered over to him and she smiled sheepishly. "Hi, Landon," she said quietly. Dina is sorry.

Dina should be sorry. Seriously, who says ordeal anymore? And how many commas can be in one sentence? An IVs poke into arms, not out of. Cheese.
Cloudy's just kidding.
Landon walked to her side, and his brows folded together. His hands twitched and moved on their own accord. The warmth of his fingers encased hers as he wrapped both hands around the closest hand to him. "Hey," his face lightened slightly, but worry still creased the corners of his eyes. "How are you feeling?" Freeing one hand, he reached up and wiped hair away from her face. His heart stuttered in his chest, and he didn't understand what he was doing.

But honestly, Aliyah didn't mind at all when Landon held her hand. She probably tried holding which ever of his hands right back. She smiled tiredly up at him. "I'm much better," Aliyah muttered quietly. "Thanks to you." Her head lulled to the side and her eyes closed, her chest rising as she took in a deep breath. "I'm sorry for all the trouble.. I just wanted you to come and enjoy the concert but instead, you nearly got yourself killed.."

A sigh left Landon. "I would save you a thousand times, and even more than that, if I had to, Aliyah. I'm just glad you're safe." His eyes watched her and softened. "I really did enjoy the concert. Your voice... it was beautiful. Everything was beautiful. You were beautiful." He felt his cheeks pink lightly at his compliments. "Are. You are beautiful. But, you probably get that a lot, huh?"

Despite having lost a sum of blood, Aliyah still managed to blush. Her eyes opened but she didn't look up at him, instead sheepishly adverted her gaze away. "You're quite the charmer, aren't you?" She mused quietly, finally lifting her gaze to him, unable to hide her blush. "Yeah, I guess I do hear it a lot. But never from someone who saved me." A soft laugh filled her but then the smile and laughter fell from her face. "If you want, you can leave soon. I'm sure the paparazzi will have a field day with this and I don't want you to get caught up in it.." If Cloudy wants, Dina can bring in the manager soon.
