(I dunno if the manager was suppose to be a certain way, but oh wwell suue mee)
Landon's eyes smiled, but his lips remained unmoving in the smiling department. "Me? A charmer?" He scoffed. "I've never called anyone beautiful before." Thinking avout what he said, he clicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth. "I guess I just-"
"Aliyah." The door to the room shoot open at the sound of a powerful voice. Landon jumped up and tore his hand away from Aliyah. He then clenched his hands, ready for a fight, but the man that whisked through the doorway ignored Landon all together. The man wore a plain t-shirt and sweats, as if woken suddenly, but somehow managed to make Landon feel incredibly under dressed. He was crisp, tall and sharp. Pale skin laid over angular features, and his eyes had no crinkles. Did this man ever laugh?
The man did wear a soft face for Aliyah. He walked to her side and squeezed her hand. "I heard and ran over first thing." Despite looking menacing and crisp, Landon noticed that the man hardly had any muscle. But he did have sharp horns adorned on his head, contrasting his white hair, which had to of been dyed. "I never should have left you alone... I'll cancel upcoming concerts do you can recover. Alright?"

(Brooooo I thought I was gonna be the manager. XD Now I feel bad...)
The thought of disappointing fans didn't sit well with Aliyah. She looked up at her manager, fully awake now. "You don't have to do that, (insertnamehere.) I'm sure I'll be fine. I don't want to disappoint any more fans, especially if they've already paid for tickets." She offered him a smile. "I'll be okay. Just don't cancel any concerts."

Alphonse Edge will be his name. She can call him Al. Landon can call him Mr. Edge. "Are you sure?" He let out a breath and then nodded. Finally, he glanced up and glanced over at Landon. "Who are you?" The sharpness in the man's voice made Landon flinch slightly.
"Landon. Landon Slater." He held up a hand, and the man only stared at it.
"Alphonse Edge." An eyebrow perked up at Landon. Slowly, Landon lowered his hand, and then awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "Why is he here?" Edge glanced at Aliyah.

"Be nice, Al," Aliyah mused quietly. Tiredly, she reached up towards the table that was near her bed and grabbed a bottle of water. What was more impressive was that she had been able to sit up enough to take a sip. Her green gaze drifted back over to Landon and a sheepish smile twitched at the edges of her lips before she carefully settled back down on her bed. "He's.. the one who saved me. If he hadn't come, I'd probably be dead.." And that was probably true but for the moment, it was still too scary and too soon to think about.

Alphonse gave Landon a second look, giving him a quick go over. Fighting the urge to squirm, Landon went to Aliyah's side. "It won't happen again. I just wish you would take more time to recover... even if just a week." He watched Aliyah, but he felt Edge's eyes burning into him.
"We can't make sure it won't happen again," Edge propped up a brow. "Not unless she had a body guard. You look like you work out. You probably know how to fight well. And Aliyah likes you, right? Trusts you." None of these were questions that Landon assumed that he had to answer, so he just stared at the man. The manager glanced at Aliyah. "How about we hire you a body guard. How about him?" He jammed his thumb at Landon.
"Me?" Landon's brows shot up. "But-"
"Do you have a kid? A job? Family? Anyone?" Edge interrogated.
"Um, no, no, not that I know of, and... I guess no again. Not unless you count Aliyah." Landon flicked a gaze towards her.
"Perfect. You're hired." Edge glanced at Aliyah. "He's hired, right? Unless you want him out of your hair. I can take of that too."

Poor Landon. "Hold on, Al," Aliyah tried intervening, but it seemed her manager always jumped ahead of her. "Hold on." She glanced up at Landon once Edge had stopped talking. "Landon, you don't have to if you don't want to. Do you like constantly moving from one place to the next? We're always traveling for concert reasons. Would you even be alright leaving your home. You should think about it, alright?" She smiled softly. "Don't let Al here bully you into something you don't want to do."

Landon ran his fingers through his hair and tugged his lower lip with his teeth. "I mean, I don't know." Glancing away, he tried to think. He heard Edge tapping his foot, and did his best to ignore it. He did like protecting people, but moving around and being near the center of attention? That didn't sit well with him. He rubbed the back of his neck and let out a long breath. "I wouldn't mind. I would like to go make sure my house doesn't get robbed, say goodbye to the place. Would you want me with you?" He raised somewhat of a shy eyebrow at Aliyah.

Another soft smile, though more tired now. Aliyah settled back even more on the bed now, lulling her head back against the pillows. "I wouldn't mind, but I want you to do whatever you want. If you want to stay, then you can. It's fine." But part of her really wanted Landon to go with her. He had only just saved her and that was enough of a reason to feel safe and secure around him.

Landon watched her with a content look, but no smile flicked his lips. It wasn't that he wasn't happy, Landon just barely smiled. "I'll do it then. I'll take the job, at least until your tour is over. And I guess I'll see how I feel at the end of it." His eyes flickered up to Edge.
The manager stood like a military man, or an incredibly strict politician. Landon never would have guessed that he was a manager. Edge nodded then. "Alright. I'll set up a contract then, with pay of course. Aliyah, you should get some rest. Landon, I can drive you-"
"No," Landon pulled over a chair and sat down. "I want to stay with her. We can go tomorrow when she feels better."
Edge shot a look at Landon that could have been a knife cutting through him. And then the man smiled. "That was a test. Good job, you passed. But order me around again and I'll cut off your testicles and feed them to the fans." Landon paled.

"Al, stop being a bully," the singer muttered, closing her eyes. "I don't need my body guard to be scared of a twig like you,." Don't worry, she was only teasing. It was easy to tell because she was smiling impishly. "You should go and let me rest before the doctor comes in and yells at you." She took in a tired breath. What a crazy day it had been. She met Landon again, nearly got killed, only to hire Landon as a body guard. "Now shush. I want to sleep.."
