If beautiful gorgeous wants, perhaps Anderson tightened his hold on Clyde and stood, moving closer to his brother before he sat down again, perhaps adjusting Clyde in his arms. "Thank you for your help, Scott," the ketsuki said and he meant it. Anderson made a mental note to pay the doctor later for his services. If anyone understood the importance of making money doing work, Anderson certainly did. "August, do you think you can make it back to our room or would you rather stay here?" He said nothing but he would certainly make Kenneth move to their room, especially since his son had enough energy to attempt to clean up. No, he still wasn't mad. Not at all.
"Much better than I have been," Kenneth mused as he tried pulling the little isoke close. "How have you been, little sunshine bird? It feels like it's been a while since I've seen you. Are you happy we're finally going back to Calder?"

A deep breath filled August and he closed his eyes. Part of him wanted to stay, just to merely be lazy and sleep. The other part was aware that they were in a room that Kenneth easily could have died in. "You six can leave, get out of here and I'll clean it up and call for room service." Kasimir said, then he hesitated. "What would... we like to do with those who have not yet been collected under Altaira's wings."
August let out a deep breath and he carefully pushed himself up onto his feet. "Three hundred years ago, you would have-"
"August, there are children about," Clyde said thickly.
A laugh cut through August and a giggle slid from his lips. His lips widened into a grin and he peeked up at Clyde. "What in Altaira's name did you think I was going to say?" His eyes slid over to Kasimir. "Erase their memories. I've already erased on of theirs, searching for any clues. If find anything, let us know."
Kasimir nodded and crossed his arms, glancing down at the bodies.
"Burn them," August said and carefully pushed himself to his feet. "Kasimir, are you sure you're fine with this?"
Surprised, Kasimir glanced up at him. Hesitation touched his face for a second before he nodded. "I'm perfectly fine. Don't worry about me breaking any nails." A smirk twitched his lips.
"I wasn't worried about that." August glanced over at Anderson and nodded. "Shall we go? Kenneth, perhaps you and Alec should rest with us, for now. You'll be safe until your boyfriend is done cleaning." His eyes settled on Scott. "How much will we owe you for this? You've helped us a lot."
Scott hesitated. He pressed his lips tightly together. "You're..." family. He almost said family. "Fine. It's fine. Don't worry. If you need anything, I'm nearby. I'll let the others know to keep an eye out for attackers." He turned and stepped towards the door.

Anderson let go of Clyde and stood suddenly, appearing at his brother's side. "I can help you," he said. "Let me know if you get too dizzy." Anderson pursed his lips before he went on. "You're going have some blood once you're settled and don't you dare take less than you need because I know you'll try and we're not going to play games today." He had had enough games today and he was already exhausted. Maybe, if beautiful gorgeous wants, maybe Anderson tried to lead the two of them towards the door. He would wait till Scott was out of earshot before he mentioned how much they should pay the doctor.
Gods, no one was going to let him rest, were they? Kenneth stood up from his place on the edge of the bed, but his hold loosened on Alec. He was probably too tired to carry the isoke. As Kenneth followed his father, he flashed a smirk towards Kasimir. "If you need help, let me know. I've always been really good at burning things. It's a gift, you know." His smirk fell. "But really, ask for help if you need it. It'll be hard for one person to sneak two bodies outside, let alone burning them."

A smirk twitched August's lips and he leaned to rest his head against Anderson. He watched the door, breathing out and focusing on walking. "I'm fine, little mouse. I'm sorry for the scare." He shook his head and his brow furrowed. "They were watching us... the attackers, to know when we got back. To know Kenneth was weak enough, vulnerable, for an attack." August stared down the hallway and glanced at Anderson. "I've already drained some of your blood. I am not sure if it's the smartest idea to drain more." Granted, he drained Anderson's blood a good time ago, and his blood probably has replenished. But August doubted that his frustration was back up to full speed.
"You can have some of my blood." Clyde walked beside them, reaching up to grasp onto August's pant leg. "I don't have much for you. But it's something."
Kasimir watched Kenneth for a moment. His eyes flickered towards Clyde, watching the small man disappeared through the doorway. He took in a breath and walked over to Kenneth. "You need rest." Kasimir frowned, before a smile curled his lips. "If I need help, you're going to be one of the last few I ask for help. You need to go cuddle with Daddy and get all nice and healed up." Kasimir let out a breath and crossed his arms. "I'll figure it out. I'm a smart one, believe it or not. Now go," Kasimir said softly with a warm smile.

"We will just have to remain on guard, utilize bats more," Anderson suggested. "And hope we can get onto a ship headed for Calder as soon as possible." A deep frown tugged at the edges of his lips. "But if they knew about Kenneth coming back from the hospital today, then they've been watching us for some time. They probably already know where we're headed next." And that was not a good thought. Anderson was used to living a life where he could remain invisible to the world around him. There was indeed something unsettling about knowing they were being watched. "I guess we'll have to worry about it later. For the time being, August, you're going to get some blood and then rest." He breathed a sigh through his nose. "August, thank you for saving my son. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been there..."
"Mm maybe I'll cuddle with Daddy some other time," the ketsuki practically purred. (Is Alec still in the room? If he is, I hope he doesn't understand.) "He can keep me warm and help me get better." Kenneth let out a small laugh as he crossed the room, made his way towards the door. "Good luck, Kasimir. Thanks for volunteering to do all the dirty work." There was a tone of sincerity on his voice. "I'll see you later." That was when the ketsuki disappeared into the hall, following after his father and uncle.

August turned to look Anderson in the eye. "There's no need to thank me, Andy." His brows pressed together. "Kenneth did the same. You two..." A deep breath filled his lungs and he shook his head. "You're my family, and I love you so much. I love my nephews. I would do anything in the world for them. It's... no question, if I would protect them or not." He kissed his brother on his temple and smiled gently. "Also, if my nephew would stop fighting me for my bats, I would be able to keep a decent eye on things." A frown pulled his lips and he glanced around. "Speaking of nephews, why has Kaleb disappeared? Usually he would be the first to visit Kenneth, don't you think?"
"Perhaps he's hiding from Anderson's wrath," Clyde said wryly, feeling his lips twitch in amusement.
Kasimir's brows raised in surprise at Kenneth's words. He nearly found himself saying, I may have daddy issues, but that doesn't mean I want to be your Daddy. Instead, he glanced at Alec, who ignored them both, and winked at the isoke. The young boy still ignored him, nose to his phone. Kasimir glanced back at Kenneth. He didn't have time to reply before his friend disappeared, with Alec soon following him. "Are you sure you're okay with this?" Scott asked.
Glancing down at the malaki, Kasimir raised a brow. "Why is everyone questioning me?"
"You're alone, having to deal with four bodies. Two of which you will have to burn." Scott shrugged. "I may not be able too much, but... Rylan is efficient when getting rid of body parts."
Kasimir paused and then nodded, "Actually, brilliant idea. Rylan can teleport, correct?"
"Right." Scott flashed him a smile. "I'll go get him then."
"Thank you," Kasimir let out a long sigh.

"He's likely with the children," Anderson murmured, ignoring Clyde's words. Well, he wasn't able to ignore them for long. "Not that he should hide. I was never mad at him for what happened." If gorgeous wants, maybe it didn't take them long to reach the room. Anderson pulled the key from his pocket and unlocked the door, holding it open with his foot while trying to help his brother into the room. "I still have some bats left," he announced. "I can keep watch. I can also steal some from Kenneth to keep an eye out for things. For now, you two should get settled." The ketsuki glanced down at Clyde, a playful smirk curling at his lips. "It's time for your afternoon nap."
Kenneth probably wasn't far behind his father and entered the room shortly after them. He looked ready to remark on their current situation, only to be interrupted by his father.
"You need to get some rest too. Take the far bed. Do you have enough blood?"
"I do," Kenneth replied. He sauntered over to the bed his father had motioned to and sat on the edge. It was difficult to think about resting, not when he had nearly been killed. He had been so defenseless too. Gods...
(Idk what to do with Kassi but was there any other small group you wanted to focus on?)

Alec hopped through the doorway and gently closed it shut. He smiled and made his way across the room. "I don't know! When my dad was grumpy after work I always tried to hide with Kenny because I didn't want him to get angry with me!" Smiling brightly, Alec stepped to Kenneth's bed and flopped onto it. "But, Kally is with the kids. He's keeping them occupied." A long breath left him and he rolled onto his back, spreading out his wings. "I was with him until I wanted to check on my other dad." Alec smiled brightly at Kenneth and opened his arms wide for Kenneth.
If there was anything Clyde wasn't looking for to, it was sharing a room with Kenneth. That wasn't on the top of his list of 'Things I want to accomplish this year'. Well, if Clyde were honest, he never planned on openly cuddling with Anderson. He never planned to become a defenseless child, either. But it was easier with August and Anderson. They made him feel safe. "August, you wore that shirt for the past two nights."
"Thank you for your criticism, but if it passes the sniff test it's good." August carefully pulled the shirt over his head and flashed Clyde a smirk. (Optional??? If you don't want to, we can just say August crawled into bed.) He stepped over to Kenneth and laid a gentle hand on his head. "Should we give this tucking in thing a second try? You should get some rest, little hummingbird."
"August," Clyde sighed. "You'll irritate your brother and then we'll have to deal with him pouting again."
A smirk twitched onto August's lips and he gently rolled his eyes. "Oh, Andy? You getting irritated? I've never heard of such a thing! The very idea."
(i forgot what we wanted to do, exactly. and don't worry about Kass! I was only giving you the scene so Scott could comment about the arm.
we could work on something with Sage and Amara,
Chase could ask Scott what happened,
Scott and Sam could warn people
anything, really. Who do you want to work on?)

Anderson couldn't help but roll his eyes. "August, please lay down or I'll end up smothering you with a pillow." He stepped over to his brother and tried to gently tug August away from Kenneth's bed. "Gods, I'll kill you if you end up getting sick because you had to take care of everyone else first." His face fell as he let out a sigh. "August, please. Can you rest first before attending to everyone?"
Meanwhile, Kenneth rolled over, trying to pull Alec closer to him. "At least he's not yelling at me anymore," the ketsuki muttered quietly. He smiled lightly. "It was almost as bad as when your dad was angry with us. Well, he was a lot nicer to you." Kenneth's smile fell away as a thought occurred to him. "How come it doesn't seem like you're upset over what happened, Alec?"
(We could have Elaine come back from wherever, maybe Rylan is with her, idk. Then later she can apologize to Sage and Amara?)

A long breath left August and he smiled gently at Anderson. "Okay, I'm sorry." He carefully laid down on their own bed and let out a long sigh. His eyes flitted shut and he breathed in through his nose. The bed shifted beside him and a small body sat beside him. A smile lifted his lips and he cracked his eyes open to look over at Clyde, before he glanced up at Anderson. He motioned for his brother to join him, his eyes warm.
Kenneth's question surprised Alec. His lips pursed, and he shrugged. He didn't want to say anything to hurt Kenneth, but anything less than the truth would be heedless. "I guess... if someone told me 'Hey, did you hear about the guy who refused help from the half-blood doctor?' then I would think, 'Oh, Kenneth'? It just... seems like something you would do." He frowned. "I mean, I think it's stupid, but nothing I've said has... really changed your mind before. But..." Alec wrapped his wings tightly around Kenneth and gently held his face. "I love you. Even if you're stupid." He giggled and kissed Kenneth's chin.
Hiro sat up in the bed, his ears perked and attentive. His eye stared at the hotel wall, but his brain was elsewhere. Somewhere in the kitchen, a maid and a cook gossiped about an eloping employee and frequent visitor. In the upper levels two couples screamed at each other, verging on a break up. A few doors down a baby cried. He heard his father's soft voice, and Rylan's rhythmic one. Hiro's eyes narrowed on the wall, a headache forming at the base of his skull. There were too many sounds.
Doors closing, wheels squeaking and--
There.
"...Elizabeth, dear, we're here."
Hiro breathed in through his nose and he tossed his gaze around the room. His ears lowered a bit, and a shy blush prickled his skin. "Um... Noah?" Going alone felt too... presumptuous. He pushed himself up and off the bed. "Uh, sorry to... uh, well. Can you... come with me?" He stared down at the new hotel carpet. "Um. There's... well, Charles and Elizabeth are here. And I think they brought Elaine, so, uh, someone has to greet them. Right?" It was more than that. But he didn't feel like explaining the "more".
