Edmund couldn't help it. Sam was being adorable, he smirked as he listened to Sam and raised an eyebrow, and finally, after hearing Elliot's laughter and squeals, Edmund let out a laughter himself. It felt as if the movement shook away old cobwebs in his system, so he shook his head. "Actually, the worst was Elijah because he would cry all the time. Sometimes we, Ana and I, had to lay really close at night with Elijah in the middle of us with Elliot and Elias, and sometimes you and Scott would get jealous, refusing to sleep on your own, either I or Ana had to hold you both..." A long sigh left Edmund and he smirked again. "Cute."

This made Sam smile softly and he went to lean against Elliot as he thought. Yes, he remembered a little bit about the triplets when they were younger, of course it was definitely enough for him that he remembered who they were when they ran into them. "You should tell Elliot more about him and his brothers when they were younger so he can write his book and we can all see how wonderful of a writer little brother is~"

Elliot smiled, already imagining it, he wrapped his arms around Sam, his eyes dancing and he whispered, "You're still the worst baby, Sammy." He teased and smiled brightly at Sam, not at all trying to be humble about his writing. It was one thing he was good at, and he was brought of it. "Yeah~ Can you~?" 'Daddy' still played at his lips, but he didn't feel as if it were time yet, to say it.

"I would," Edmund said tiredly. "Another night, I promise. But not tonight, I'm a little too tired to think about such memories, plus it.... it's something that... I... messed up so it hurts... to think about it." He looked down, his eyes starting to water again. "I will though, alright? Don't worry... you two are doing just fine, right? How is Elijah? And Scott? And Elias?"

"Oh, Scotty and littler brother are fine," Sam mused with a softer smile. "As for littlest brother the bear, he's been sick for a while but it's okay because we're taking good care of him!" His voice dropped and he frowned. "Though.. Scotty can't take care of him 'cuz he can't sick and he feels really bad that he has to stay away from littlest brother.."

Edmund fell quiet, leaning against the headboard. Feli shifted in his sleep and shifted closer to Edmund, wrapping his arms around the older man, whimpered softly, 'Fratello...' but Edmund's hand lifted and gently ran through the boy's hair, instantly silencing the whimpers and making Feliciano fall asleep comfortably. "Yeah... Scott, I always... worried about him. Always had a runny nose as a baby..." His eyes watched his lap. "He.... he's still alright, right? He doesn't have any strange diseases because of it, right? And I'm sorry about Elijah... I think you guys have him covered..."

"Don't say sorry 'cuz it's okay. You can say sorry about a million times over and I will still forgive you, okay Daddy?" Sam giggled lightly. "They think he has pneumonia but we aren't sure. He's doing just fine, I think, 'cuz he's not any sicker and it's really cute when littlest brother tries to tell little and littler brother to go away but he never pushes them away." He giggled again and then let out a soft sigh. "Well, if you're tired, then I guess I should let you get some sleep, okay? Good night.." He looked to Elliot. "Do you want to say something, little brother?"

Edmund felt saddened that Sam was going to hang up, but he did not fight it. Elliot thought for a moment, then whispered into the phone, "Good night... keep safe, okay?"

A pause sounded at the other end, and Edmund finally said, "Good night, you two. Sleep well and stay healthy and safe, take care of your oldest to your littlest brother, alright?" He said carefully, his golden eyes shining with sadness,. He probably wouldn't sleep well. Chewing on his thoughts, he couldn't think of anything to say, so he went to quietly hang up.

Sam waited for the other end to hang up before he went to put the phone away in his pocket after turning it off. It was then that he tried pulling Elliot close into a hug, trying to press his head against his brother. "Come on, little brother, we should get to bed. I don't think Scotty will be very happy if he finds out we stayed up all night." He smiled softly before it dropped. "I know you said you weren't tired and I know you'd prefer to be with little and littlest brother but.. but, can you stay with me tonight? Please..?" Aw, Sam..

Elliot was stupid, yes. But it there were some things he was smart with. Some things. That list was small. His brothers were sort of on there. A smile lifted Elliot's lips and he nodded, "Okay Sammy... do you feel better now? I'm here too, so you don't have to feel so alone... let's go to bed before biggest brother wakes up and yells at us." A soft giggle ran off of Elliot and he pushed his nose into Sam's neck. "But it's okay, Sammy, because we all love and treasure you so much, you never have to worry, okay? I think I might be able to sleep better now..."

Another soft smile twitched at the edges of Sam's lips and again, he tried hugging Elliot, now going to hide his face in his brother's chest if he could. And then, for some reason, Sam started to cry silently, clutching tightly onto Elliot if he could. "I felt so alone," he croaked. "I couldn't turn to anyone, I couldn't tell anyone except Kaleb who I was talking to because I knew people would hate me and get mad at me.. I didn't-I didn't want Scotty, or littlest brother, or you, or littler brother to hate me.. I just- I just want all of us to be a family again, little brother, but I can't get what I want.." His sobs thickened and poor Sam's face was red from his crying. He felt like a child but he except a long time ago that was what he really was. "I don't want anyone to hate me or leave me.."
