Mimi is gone. Follow us. We're going to save her.
I figured.
Chance took off after them. Jax taught him a thing or two about running. While he learned to run fast and with grace, much like a lynx, he still was human. He didn't run as fast as Damos or Annabelle. It didn't matter. He pushed himself and ran as fast as he could, his lungs expanding to take in air.
Laughter filled Fred's throat, "Ah. What a lovely little one that we found here, Rick." He stepped out of the van. They were in front of an abandoned warehouse, the doors were open and inside were empty, large cages to house up to ten people. There many. Some further back weren't empty. Rick opened up a random cage and threw the girl down on the dirt. She scrambled away from him. Fred threw Zachariah in. Zachariah hit the ground like a sack of potatoes. Stepping away, Fred motioned for Mimi to get inside. "I'll get the boy," Rick murmured and walked past them.

Mimi glanced around the cramped space inside the warehouse. A strong feeling of despair hung in the air and Mimi resisted the urge to gag. No matter how much time she spent around this feeling, she never truly grew accustomed to it. She didn't dare meet another prisoner's gaze for fear of losing what remnants of a will she had managed to gather. She watched with subdued anger as Fred manhandled the poor girl into her cage. She ground her teeth together in an effort to keep her mouth shut. She continued on with a heavy heart.
When Fred tossed Zach into the cage she did not rush into the cage immediately, despite how badly she wanted to. No, she wanted to spite him as much as she could before surrendering. When he motioned for her to enter, she folded her arms and bore her teeth. "I am not a trained beast for the circus, I will go when I want." It wasn't long, however, before she eventually complied and began to make her way over to the cage because her need to be with Zach was far greater than her want for any amount of revenge. As she passed him she made it an effort to slam her shoulder into his own, though it may have ended up doing more harm to her than him due to her injured shoulder.
(I didn't know if we were just sticking with cuddle time or both the rescue and cuddles so I just did this XD I can change it if you need me to)

He slammed the gate on her, hoping to cage as it slammed and locked shot. Gritting his teeth in anger, he said, "I hope you two get split up. And I hope you get a very unkind man who becomes your master." He stormed out of the warehouse to help Rick with the boy.
Zachariah stirred, but his movements were jerky and slow. Amy sat close to him and gently ran her fingers through his hair, sobbing quietly. She didn't say anything, but her actions spoke louder than anything she could have said. Thank you, thank you... Glancing up at Mimi, she sniffled and said, "I-Is he going to be okay?"
(No this is gooodd XD)

Tears stun her eyes and she dropped to her knees. A feeling of absolute fatigue washed over her and all she could manage to do was settle beside him. She reached down and cupped his jaw, gently pulling his head into her lap. Ever so carefully, she began to stroke his face. As the fatigue came, so too did that other emotions. Anger at the pair of men and fear for either of their safety but most of all, shame for not being strong enough. She had failed to be the anchor that kept them all grounded and instead she found herself scared out of her wits and incredibly lonely. His face was the only thing that kept her from losing it, so she focused only on that.
Or at least, she did until she heard the girl's voice. She sighed and turned her tired eyes toward the girl. "I-I don't know, Sweetheart. I just don't know..." Despite the vacancy she felt she managed to offer the girl a sincere smile. If anything, she was glad that the girl was with them. That way she knew for certain that the girl was safe.

The two men probably came back into the warehouse. They were quiet now, hauling the boy from earlier and throwing him into a cage next to the one that the trio occupied. After that, he wiped off his hands and made sure both of the cage doors were locked. "Aye, Rick!" Fred called, and he spoke about prices and when the next slave market would be open as he walked from the warehouse.
Zachariah lifted his gaze to Mimi's. His eyes were full of deep exhaustion, but also bright with buzzing knowledge and ideas. He parted his mouth, but his tongue was heavy in his mouth. His fingers twitched to move, but it all took too much effort, and he wanted to sleep. His lips, though, found energy and lifted into a small, reassuring smile.
Amy let out a small sob and leaned over to bury her face in Zachariah's side. Quiet tears fell from her cheeks and she shook her head, wishing her mother and father were here.

Mimi flinched when the pair brought in the boy, glancing up when she heard the boy's body hit the ground. Another sigh and she turned away, not wanting to linger on either of their predicaments. She leaned down and kissed Zach's forehead, hovering close to his face. She pressed her forehead against his, trying to urge some of her own energy toward him. She felt her tears far away from her eyes, but she did not move. "I'm sorry Zach. I'm so sorry." She didn't even know what she apologizing for, but she felt the need to do so. She felt so helpless and she hated the feeling.
Carefully she reached toward the girl and placed a hand on her head, stroking her hair. She didn't even bother to promise their safety, because she didn't know if she could keep that promise. All she could do, for the moment, was comfort either of them and try to stay strong. Her eyes wandered the warehouse once more. What would Chance do? She frowned already knowing the answer. Critical thinking wasn't her style. Not to mention any plan she thought of involved more than one able body. Then her eyes lit up. What would Annabelle do?
Mimi pursed her lips, not really liking her options, but she had to try something. Slowly she eased from under Zach and walked over to the cage door, adjusting her clothes as she went. She swallowed nervously, already having second thoughts. "Hey tough guys!" This is definitely a bad idea.

Zachariah jerked up, causing the girl to squeak in surprise. He managed to shakily raise himself on his elbows, shooting Mimi a glare. What is she doing? "M..." He collapsed back down, breathing hard as if he had ran a twelve-mile race. She could at least wait till she doesn't have to carry me around if she's planning on escaping. Closing his eyes, he let out a groan to communicate his confusion to her.
Rick slithered into the old ware house with a sneer written on his face. "What do you want, bitch?" He walked towards the cage and stopped there. "If you have to piss, do it in the corner. And if you're hungry, too freaking bad." A smirk curled his lips.
Zachariah stared at the bars above him, and then he closed his eyes to conserve his energy. Sleep poked gently at him, but he fought to stay away. He would, just in case he could muster enough energy to somehow do something useful for once.

Mimi bit her lip, really wishing the other man had come back in. She didn't her plan would work with Rick, especially with his rather disturbing demeanor. He's already here, though. She swallowed thickly and tried to find her voice. His insult was all the fuel she needed. Play nice with the serpent or else you'll get bit. She forced a rather pleasant smile onto her face. "Oh, no no nothing like that. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a glass of water. The poor girl is just parched." She leaned heavily against the bars, pressing her cheek against the bar and popping her hip out. "I don't think dead slaves go for very much on the market."
She was utterly disgusted by the whole front she was trying to sell. However, if she could manage to get close enough to the man she could possibly grab hold of him and rob him of all his energy. A stunt like that would leave him helpless and her free to search him for the keys. Despite her doubts of his intellect, she wasn't quite sure the whole plan would work out if it came to them having to fight their way out.

A smirk curled Rick's lips, and his brows raised. "Trying to seduce me?" Laughter filled his mouth and bubbled out. He shook his head and leaned back, his laughter filling the air. "Okay, I'll get you that glass of water." He wiped tears from the corners of his eyes, grinning at Mimi. "I mean, it's entirely hilarious because there's not way you could seduce me." He motioned to Mimi. "Not because of that. No. This is a personal matter... but I suppose it's not going to hurt anything to tell you. My interests aren't with women." He shook his head, smirking.
More laughter bubbled out of him, and he had to lean forward. In order to catch himself from falling, he grasped into the cage bar. "You should of had your mate do it!" He shook his head, more laughter bubbling from him.
All the while, this "mate" of hers was growling feebly. His bright teal eyes narrowed on the laughing man.

Mimi's smile faltered when he practically announced his interests. She bit her lip, doubting her current course of action. Well, damn. How is this supposed to work. She straightened up, physically annoyed with how things turned out. Or at least she was until he leaned forward against the bars. Carefully she eased herself back toward the bars. "Oh? Is that so." She slowly moved her hand through the bars. "That's too bad. Because maybe you wouldn't have this throbbing headache right now." She made a grab for his shirt and tried to jerk him forward to slam his head against the bars.
If she managed to do this, she placed her second hand on his cheek and tried to force a wave of extreme fatigue onto him. If all went according to plan, then she stood by the bars with a triumphant smirk on her face. "You really should have known who you were dealing with." She began to search his pockets for a key.
