When Anderson pulled them up, Alec's wings twitched and immediately snapped back under the safety of his shirt. Ever since breaking his wing that one time, he can catch himself being a bit more cautious...
With a bright smile, Alec giggled brightly and poked Anderson's nose. "Of course! I promise! I'll make Kaleb send you the details. I'll use a website so it's faster, but I'll have to find one." A sigh left him, and he couldn't help but lose his bright and happy smile. "I suppose it's time we should gather our things, right? I bet the others are already gathered out front..." Pressing his lips together, Alec closed his eyes and breathed in deeply in through his nose. He pushed his tears back and away, knowing that him crying was the last he wanted Anderson to see of him. With a bright grin, Alec gave Anderson the tightest squeeze he could muster--which might be a bit surprising for the age he looked--and then pushed his face into Anderson's neck so he could mutter, "Carry me out to the front!"
What a demanding little bird.
"Asking me not to worry is like asking me not to like wine, little Edwin." Clyde responded to to the light nudge with another small twitch on his lips. At the mention of Edwin's youthful looks, Clyde nodded and leaned forward so he could get a better look at the young man beside him. "Yes. It isn't necessarily weird to me, seeing as I'm a ketsuki, and I haven't had much exposure to outside races, not ones that I had cared to gather information on, but yes... you look quite young. Even your father. To my understanding..." Clyde's voice died, and he made a mistake by allowing sadness to pass through his face before he could suppress it. "Malaki only live over a hundred years, right?" Reaching over, Clyde couldn't suppress another mistake.
He ran his fingers through Edwin's black hair.
The black hair, and yellow eyes... they were much like his son's. But by then, Edwin had become someone important in Clyde's life, another little worm that had wriggled it's way into the compact dirt of Clyde's heart. "I've heard rumors of..." Clyde murmured, but then shook his head. "Such heavy talk! Especially with just a child such as yourself. You know, interesting enough, I'm not considered a full adult until I'm five-hundred. And I am only just over four-hundred now."

The ketsuki laughed softly, wrapping his arms around the little isoke. "Alec, you spend too much of your time with my ill mannered son," he mused, perhaps standing now, maybe with Alec in his arms. "Don't take after his crude example. Remember to say please and thank you. Otherwise people will start to ignore you, no matter how adorable you are." Anderson smiled, his happiness returning, comforting himself with thoughts of him being able to see everyone again soon. Which they probably would. Anderson couldn't stay away from his sons forever. Especially when they traveled with the most adorable children. If Cloudy wants, perhaps Anderson made his way into the hall with Alec, maybe glancing around for his brother before heading off to where Alec had asked him to go.
Such a depressing subject, but Edwin already knew Clyde would outlive him by several more malaki life times. His own father, despite looking so young, was going to be outlived soon too. But Edwin shook the thoughts away. It only reminded him of all the time he hadn't spent with Edmund. He pushed away the worrisome thoughts that couldn't help but wonder if he'd grow too old and passed without ever meeting his twin again. The malaki strained a smile, though it eventually became natural as the thoughts vanished. "Well, Clyde, if you're still a child, should you even be drinking? I don't think you're of legal age."

"Mmph," was Alec's anwser, smirking into Anderson's neck. "I'm too adorable for anyone to ignore." He chuckled, not really believing it.
August spotted his brother emerging from the room and wandered towards him. "There is our little isoke," August glanced over at Anderson, trying to assess his brother's face. "Kenneth chased poor Clyde out of the room, so I had to punish him with a hug." A smile lifted August's lips. "I remember when that boy was younger... he was a lot less fierce than he is now."
Alec looked up at August and then around, "Is Clyde going to come say goodbye?"
August shrugged, "I don't know where the woman scampered off to." Giggles came from Alec and he grinned up at August.
Clyde hesitated a few moments before answering. He was tempted to ask Edwin what he had been thinking about, but then decided against it. Instead, he pulled on his noble air and snorted with distaste. "Please. As long as I keep my body over the age of my mid twenties, I can drink however much I want." He gave Edwin an amused look. "You on the other hand may never drink anything, if you continue to look as young as you have."
"Alright, come on guys," Scott said as he pulled on his bag, and Sam's. He figured Sam would take Elias' bag for him, and he didn't like the idea of his brother carrying two bags. He hesitated and smiled over at Edwin. "If I overheard right, you're going to stay a bit longer with Mr. Tudor?"
Kasimir sat at the window, staring out of it with a bit of reminiscence. Hiro had already packed and left, possibly with his sister. They probably left the room a mess, Kasimir probably told them to make a mess on purpose, in spite of Clyde. Even if it would just be maids cleaning up.
"Noah?" Kasimir called, suddenly being pulled out of his thoughts. Hiro probably left to sneak some food for his siblings. "How... are things going?"

Even though Anderson was still carrying Alec, he couldn't help but lean against August for a moment. "I'm sure he's around," the ketsuki mused. "Maybe he went to say goodbye to Richard's son? I don't know, just a guess." Maybe they reached the stairs or something, heading to the main area. "Oh! And August, Kenneth has always been fierce! He's just more up front about it now." Lowering his voice, he muttered, "Unless there's a spider.. Gods know how many mornings I spent having to check under his bed and the sheets and pillows for spiders or he wouldn't sleep otherwise." Anderson fought off the urge to roll his eyes.
Edwin turned his unoriginal golden gaze to Scott when the oldest brother spoke to him. He offered a small smile. "Yeah, just for a bit. I don't see any point in crowding you guys." That, and Edwin didn't really feel as if he knew his nephews well enough to drop everything and travel with them. There'd be plenty of time to get to know them, especially if Richard was going to go with them. "Don't worry," he added quickly, "I'm sure we'll end up running into each other real soon."
Meanwhile, Sam had finished packing Elias' stuff when he noticed that Scott had grabbed his bag. Smiling, the younger twin made his way over to his brother, putting the strap for Elias' suitcase around his shoulder. "Scotty~ I can carry my own suitcase you know," he mused, perhaps going to lean against Scott.
Hanna had probably gone with her big brother because why not? Packing and cleaning was boring anyway. But that left poor little Noah trying to clean and pack himself. But Noah hadn't been paying attention and when he heard a voice calling for him, he jolted upright, looking like a deer caught in headlights. Which wasn't that far from the truth. If it was someone other than Kasimir, Noah had no idea how he would be able to explain the changes he still hid.
When he saw Kasimir, the young teen let out a breath, his new deer-like ears lowering. "O-oh.. Hi, Kasimir.. I was just packing up.. Did you need something?"

August at first laughed from the back of his throat, almost as if he were giggling, and then his laugh strengthened when he walked down the stairs. His laughter cut off any of Alec's chances to ask about a spider. "Oh, Anderson! I still can't believe..." Shaking his head, he grinned up at Anderson. "Your poor children. I'm beginning to think maybe Kenneth has always been afraid of me. Maybe I remind him of a spider." He began laughing again.
The only person that could make him laugh this much was Anderson.
Scott shifted his feet and gave Edwin a smile. "Yeah..." He appreciated his uncle's presence, but at the same time, he saw his father. It caused a conflicting feeling to rise in his throat, but he remained hospitable, especially since he tried to kill Edwin when he first saw him. His eyes flickered over to Sam and his smile brightened. "You can? Are you sure about that, Thomas? Your arms are equivalent to twigs. Including your bones. You'd hurt yourself trying."
Elliot slowly stood up from Lowell and grabbed his bag. He crouched down to give the wolf a hug before standing. He glanced over at Edwin and walked over to him. "Can... can I hug you goodbye?"
Clyde slowly stood and adjusted his jacket. "I'll see you after you say your goodbyes, Edwin." He nodded over to him and walked over to the door. He paused, glancing back at the other smaller copies of Edwin, "I wish you safe travels..." Feeling that as sufficient enough, Clyde slipped out of the door and went to go find anyone else he might care to say goodbye to.
Kasimir let out a small chuckle at how much Noah looked like a little deer. He shook his head to shake away the laughter on his face, but his smile was determined to stay on his lips. "Yes, I would like you to go clean all the other rooms and pack everyone else's clothes." He moved closer to Noah and shook his head, holding up a hand, hopefully before Noah said anything, and said, "I'm kidding. You look a bit stressed..."
He produced something out of his pocket and held it up for Noah to take. "I..." It was a hat, and for a moment, Kasimir looked a bit flustered. "Well, it's getting colder out, and I thought that it would be a good way to help you hide..."
His eyes flickered up to Noah's ears and he resisted the urge to touch them. "Not that I believe you should... but I'll help you, until you're comfortable with yourself."

Anderson joined in his brother's laughter. "Probably, August. I mean, there's not much difference if you really look closely~" Oh Anderson, there was no sense in trolling your brother. August would get him back for sure, but that didn't stop that classic smirk from curl his lips. The younger brother lulled his head against Alec's. "Alec, I have a wonderful idea for you." He lowered his voice so that only Alec and August could hear. "Next Halloween, will you dress up as a spider, or put one of his kids in a spider costume? Then send me the video," he mused once more. "I'd love to see~" Anderson was by no means as fierce or demanding -August would probably disagree- as his son, but a father, once in a while, could enjoy teasing his son. Perhaps they made it to the entry way now, stopping by the door.
Sam cocked an eyebrow for a moment, until both eyebrows rose and he wore a rather smug expression. "Right, right,Tyler, because your arms really look a lot better than mine, don't they?" Sam smiled happily afterwards, giggling. "It's okay~! If it's too heavy after a while, I can get Konrad or one of our little brothers' partners to help! They're nicer than mean old Scotty~!"
The uncle was taken aback by Elliot's question, and at first, Edwin wasn't sure he had heard right. He fought back the urge to ask why, that was rude. But to himself, he wondered if it was because he looked just like their father. It was another reason that Edwin decided to stay back. He felt as if he would only bring back unwanted memories. Edwin could never be angry at his beloved brother, but he felt hurt, for all of them. "Oh, sure," he finally answered. "I don't mind." He sat himself up as to make it easier for the triplet to hug him.
"Do you think it will fit?" But Noah shook his head, getting ahead of himself. His cheeks turned red. "Thank you for helping me," he said quietly, gaze falling because he didn't feel strong enough to meet Kasimir's gaze. "I-I just have to gw use to it all myself.. before I can even think of showing anyone else.." Noah was, however, a bit frightened about what the others would think. So prolonging the inevitable seemed like the best answer. With a shaky hand, he lifted it to feel the icy horns that jutted up from his head. His touch was light, as if discovering them for the first time. "I don't think I'll ever be used to how weird I am now.." He turned away, going back to packing in an attempt to stop himself from thinking about the strangeness of it all. Why did this have to happen?

August was going to piss himself. He had to catch himself on the wall, and then he let out a gasp of laughter. "Dear gods," August wheezed. "Dear gods, I can't--" He leaned against the wall, laughing. "Breathe--" He started coughing, only because of his loss of breath, but he was still laughing in between.
Alec looked bewildered and glanced up at Anderson. "Wait, I don't get it. Why would Kenneth care about spiders?" Perhaps, if there was ever a time there was a spider when Alec was little, it clicked back to the surface of his brain. Either way, his brows furrowed together and he whispered, "He's not afraid of spiders, is he?"
"What the hell did you do to August?" Clyde snorted as he made his way down the stairs, a disapproving scowl on his face, but Anderson, Alec, and August could see through it by now.
"Incredibly, Thomas. You would be quiet amazed at my dexterity, and my muscle mass." Scott grinned at Sam. "Mean old brother Scotty and I will just continue on..." He paused when he noted the exchange between Elliot and Edwin.
A bright smile lifted Elliot's face and he crouched down to wrap his arms around Edwin. "Thank you," he said quietly before pulling away. "You see, Elias and I... we were separated from everyone else when we were young, and Elijah... he's gone... and so I don't want any regrets, like... not hugging you." With a blush, Elliot stood and looked around to locate his triplet before giving a small smile to him. "Ready?"
"Hmm..." Kasimir examined Noah's head. "I don't know, you're head is incredibly large for a person your age. Maybe it's from being connected for too long with that boy." He teased and smiled as Noah touched his horn. "It's entirely unrelated, yet at the same time sort of the same. When I first figured out what my affinity was, I was ashamed of myself... and quite embarrassed. I wanted to hide it from everyone..." A sigh left Kasimir. "Those weren't my best years."
Reaching up, Kasimir couldn't help himself. He ran his fingers through Noah's hair, and then touched his horn. "It must be incredibly difficult for you. But.. Noah, I can assure you that you're positively adorable as you are. It's not weird. At least not to me." His eyes narrowed a bit at Noah's ears. "The hat is really thick... and quite large. How would your ears feel folded, Noah? Would it bug you? Because, if it did, then I would have to think of a new solution."
Kasimir paused and looked at Noah's face again. "Actually, if you wished, we could separate from the others for a while, until you get used to it. I could spout out some nonsense--Kenneth would see through my lie, but I would like to think if I asked him to keep quiet he will. But, if you would feel more comfortable that way, then I wouldn't mind."

August laughing as much as he was made Anderson grin happily, feeling rather pleased with himself for always being able to make his brother laugh. Making his father/mother/brother laugh and smile was the least he could do for all August had done for him. His deep maroon eyes flickered over to Clyde as the noble spoke and his smirk grew. "Oh, nothing. We were just discussing my son's only weakness. Ah, too bad you weren't here to discover it. He'll torment you forever and you'll never know how to stop him~" Oh Anderson..
(This next part is only if you want Kenneth coming over.)
"Dad!" Came the voice of a rather angry Kenneth. The poor ketsuki had stepped into the entry way, but his bats had overheard the conversation. He looked rather flustered. His fears were none of their business, especially not Clyde's. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't speak about that," Kenneth hissed, cautiously stepping forward.
Despite having been scolded by his own son, Anderson continued to smirk, though it softened as Kenneth, who looked rather weary with both August and Clyde around, approached, ducking his head down as he passed August, finally stepping beside Anderson and Alec.
Edwin offered a sympathetic smile to his nephew, having pulled away from the awkward hug as soon as Elliot had. "I'm sure you'll find your brother soon, Elliot. From what I remember, you'll probably end up hearing about him when you least expect it," He now looked around for his father, wanting to know if Richard had decided if he was going or not. The thought of his father leaving saddened him, but Edwin understood. Richard had, no doubt in his mind, grown attached to his grandsons, Richard's and Edwin's only real link to Edmund.
Elias was still entangled in the blankets, though he was sitting up. He looked exhausted and disdainful at the prospect of traveling around again. "I guess if I have to be," the middle triplet muttered. Trying to bit back his tiredness and irritation, he asked quietly, "Did you make sure you have everything and that you didn't forget something?"
"Oh, no, we don't have to leave," Noah said quickly, worried. He didn't want to do that. Despite himself, Noah couldn't pull himself away from Kasimir's comforting touch. It was very similar to how Cyril felt when Edmund acted like a father to him every now and again. It was especially nice to someone who hadn't had a parental figure care for him for most of his life- or from what he could remember. (Idk if Noah remembers anything about his dad yet.) "And don't embarrass yourself, it's okay... I'll try to wear the hat." With a flustered blush, Noah was finally able to look up at Kasimir, his ears lowering again. Quietly, he asked, "C-can you help me put it on? Please...?"

"Oh, Anderson, you got his fur all ruffled," Clyde narrowed his eyes, except he was swallowing a smirk of his own. He descended the rest of the stairs and regarded Kenneth for a moment and sighed before he let his eyes rest on Alec.
"I'm starting to see the resemblance, Auggie," Alec grinned.
August had calmed down, but he still held a smirk. "Ah, yes, I'm not a rat but a-"
"Shush!" Clyde cut in. "Don't divulge anything to me. It would only irritate me." Clyde walked closer to them, blatantly ignoring Kenneth. "And bother me." Alec turned and held open an arm, with a grin. "You're not going to make me go over there are you?" Clyde said in distaste, and Alec giggled and nodded his head.
Dipping his head, Clyde fought a smile and walked closer to Alec. "A hug, too," Alec still kept his legs wrapped tightly around Anderson, but he leaned back to give Clyde a hug.
"Be safe, Mr. Cole," Clyde murmured quietly. "No more flying in storms."
Giggles filled Alec, "I promise... and thanks for taking care of them."
Clyde snorted. "They're taking care of me." He pulled away and then couldn't help but give the little isoke a small smile, even if it meant Kenneth would see it. Then the smile dropped quickly and his brows fell together. "No, Alec, no crying."
"I'm sorry," Alec laughed, but his voice was all watery. "I'm going to miss you, all of you, and-I'm sorry, I don't mean to make you cry too."
"I don't know the meaning of crying," Clyde countered, but he patted Alec's back and turned quickly away from him. "No crying. You'll see Anderson and August soon. I bet Anderson won't last that long without his children. What did you guys do to this poor child?" He was addressing August, Anderson, and Kenneth now.
"I-I-" Elliot sighed, "No, I don't... Elias, don't be so mean to me when you just get up," Elliot whimpered. "Not after Sam did all the packing for you..." With a small smile, Elliot walked over to Elias and fixed stray hairs. "How are you?" He searched Elias' eyes before turning toward the door.
Richard walked over to Edwin and he sat down, forcefully gathering his son in his arms. "Will you be lonely?" He murmured.
Shock raised Kasimir's brows, and then slowly he smiled and gave a small nod. "Of course, Noah." Kasimir gently arranged Noah's hair, running his fingers through it. He wondered what it would have been like if he weren't a terrible father who abandoned his children. "Noah, if your ears hurt, tell me right away, alright? There's no need to suffer. I need you to promise this... even if later they hurt, alright?"
Gently, Kasimir figured the natural ways the Noah's ears bent, and he pulled the hat on. After that, he fixed Noah's hair a bit before giving a brilliant smile. "There. Cute as a deer," Kasimir teased before stepping back. "Do you need any help? You don't have to clean. In fact, if you wanted to break a couple things, go ahead."

Before Kenneth could say anything, Anderson intervened. "Oh Clyde, don't act so coy. You coddled him just as much as he did while he was here," he mused. "In fact, you being nice to this child is the only reason he's here, isn't that right?" Perhaps his hold on the little isoke tightened, trying to comfort poor Alec. "He's right though, little bird, we'll probably meet up with each other soon, alright?" His smile returned, though it was small and sad. "Don't cry, please?" Anderson would probably start crying any moment now too, but he'd wait. Not in front of the little ones.
Kenneth stepped forward, perhaps lifting a hand to gently brush through Alec's hair. "Mm, are you all ready to go, little Coley?"
"I'm not being been," Elias huffed. "I'm just trying to make sure you didn't forget anything." The middle triplet bit back the urge to roll his eyes and instead leaned himself against his brother, his gaze drifting over to his older brothers. He sighed. "I just don't feel like traveling around right now.." But he never felt like doing anything anyway. Elias said no more as he started to untangle himself from the blankets so he could get ready to go.
To add to the adorableness, perhaps Edwin leaned into the hug, lulling himself against his father. "Sure, sure," he laughed softly. "But are you really going to go with them, Dad?" He raised a brow. "Do you even know where their group is heading?"
Noah lifted his hands to feel the hat, his face heating up once more. How silly he must have looked, though.. No, he didn't really believe Kasimir, but at least his horns and ears fit. Noah wasn't ready to show off his new features yet. "Thank you," he said quietly, looking away again. "It fits fine..." His face grew a darker shade of red when Kasimir suggested breaking something. "I-I couldn't do that," he stammered, flustered. "A-and I'm okay cleaning.. It's just something I'm used to.." A pause. Then, "Are we leaving soon?"
