A smirk curled August's lips. "Oh? I more of mean no one as old as them." He chuckled and couldn't help but open his arm and pull his brother to his side. He buried his face in the top of Anderson's head and kissed him. "The house is going to seem more empty... I wonder if Clyde will act less irritable. He acts like there's a stick up his nether regions when Kenneth is around--ah, well, he always acts as if there is a stick there, but with Kenneth it's larger with spikes." He laughed, shaking his head. "Children, don't listen to me."
"Oh yes," Kasimir said dryly. "That's what I always wanted, for Clyde to bring to the spa with him." A distasteful smirk curled Kasimir's lips. "Clyde would never. He can't even stand to see himself naked." Shaking his head, Kasimir let out a long sigh. "I was just trying to cheer you up, Kenneth. You can do what you wish, and if you want my company, I'm here. If you rather go off on your own, go ahead." Kasimir paused and glanced at him. "I'm just glad to have you as a friend again."
Amara nodded, "We could... you know, that could work. We... we should try and discuss it with Kenneth, if he'll even listen. I could help, but I'm nowhere near as good as a fighter..." She let out a sigh and kissed Chase's shoulder in thought. "I wonder how Seth would feel, though... about the entire thing. Have you tried asking him... how he feels?" Her eyes lowered, feeling motherly and worried about all her little sprites. "Then again, he's a man, and men don't tend to dwell on feelings as much," Amara laughed softly.
Malcolm frowned, looking at Gabriel's back. Even if the ketsuki couldn't hear him, the boy muttered, "Even if you had the best vision in the entire world I would still double check..."
Gabriel is going to have his hands full.
Kaleb gave his old friend a bright and happy smile. "Yes, Gabriel. We are, I just wanted to say goodbye to you..." He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Gabriel. "I would ask you if you wanted to come, too, but I think there are too many annoying babies for you to deal with." Kaleb let out a giggle.

Anderson laughed softly, leaning into his brother. "There's no way to get Clyde to act any less irritable. He was like that before the group arrived, he was like that while they were visiting, and he'll be like that long after they depart." He sighed. "No matter what we try, Clyde is just one of those people that's impossible to please." The little mouse shrugged, reaching over to gather Austin and little Mithai into his arms. The older ketsuki smiled softly as he heard the small boy giggle, Austin burying his face into his grandfather. "Oh well, at least I got to meet my adorable grandchildren~ Who knew evil incarnate himself could have such cute children~!" It's okay, Anderson was only teasing Kenneth. He obviously loved his son, but even he thought Kenneth needed to tone it down a bit.
"Oh, hush, there's no need to get all sentimental on me, Kass," the grouchy Kenneth managed to smirk. "Come on, let's just manage to get packed and get going, then we can talk later, okay? And you can tell me all about how you would nominate Clyde for the world's greatest father award," he mused, turning away. It really seemed as if Kasimir had helped improved Kenneth's mood. Not that he was sure where the sudden mood change came from. "Get going, I'll see you later." And with that, Kenneth turned away, going off to do whatever Kenneth does.
Chase laughed quietly. "Well, that's true. And I haven't talked to him about it in a while. I should though, especially if we may have a plan." He reached up to rub the back of his neck. "I'm not sure if it'll go anywhere, but it's worth a shot. It's been long enough, and we have to do something about it." But Damien had been gone for so long, Chase couldn't help but wonder how much his old friend had changed. And how much things would change when he got back. Answering his own thoughts, he muttered, "It probably won't be the same.."
"Well, perhaps you and I will be able to catch up soon enough," Gabriel mused, lifting a hand to gently tousle Kaleb's hair. Though, his voice softened for a moment. "Kaleb, just make sure that the next time I stumble upon you, it will be a much happier occasion." The ancient ketsuki smiled softly. "Take care of yourself, little one, alright?"

He will continue to be irritable until Anderson drops a baby on him and then he'll be happy and cute around the baby and a bitch to Andy and August.
August smirked at Anderson. "Please, Anderson. His attitude may annoy you, but I know that evil incarnate or not, you'll always adore your Kenny." He chuckled as his eyes fell to the children. "Yes... I am glad we were able to meet such wonderful children..." August thoughtfully looked down at the children. He wondered how his father would feel, knowing that Anderson had expanded their family.
His brows fell together. He wondered how his mother what his mother would have thought, too.
[And Kasimir sneaked back to his room that Clyde had preserved for him and searched through his old things.]
"No..." Amara's eyes filled with sadness. "Nothing is the same... but that's the crappy thing about life, right? Things change, people change. Things are given, and taken away..." Her brows fell together and she looked down at her feet. "On a less depressing subject... did you ever join any clubs at school?"
Yes. Amara never went to public school.
Kaleb blushed deeply and shook his head. "I-I hope so too, but often our reunions tend to be when I'm in trouble." A smile lifted his lips. "Thank you, Gabriel. Take care of yourself, and continue to be a very, very, very, very, very, very-"
A little giggle filled the air. Malcolm tried to cover his mouth with his hands to hush his laughter.
Kaleb's smile grew into a smirk, "Old ketsuki."

That day will be someday. And Clyde will finally be cute.
The younger brother let out a huff. "August, don't make it sound like we'll never see them again. Of course we will!" With a smile," Anderson went to pull away. "Now come on, no one is ever going to leave if we just stay here hugging all day." Not that Anderson would mind, but he has probably spent plenty of days just cuddling with his brother. He could never get enough of August. "Are you all packed, children?"
Austin didn't respond, only a grunt to answer his grandfather's question. "Do we have to go?" He asked sadly, looking up with large tearful purple eyes. "Can't we all just stay here?"
Chase tried pulling Amara close to him, for a moment, in an attempt to offer some comfort. As much as the issue bothered him, he was thankful for a subject change. "Clubs?" He echoed in thought, remembering his time in school. It wasn't really that long ago, but at the same time, it was. "Well, not really. My parents liked it better when I stayed home and studied, but sometimes I had tome to join a study group." The niyol smiled lightly. "You're not really missing much, Amara." But as he went on, it was difficult to resist the urge to roll his eyes. "Then again, I'm sure a lot of people here really should have gone to school. Or have gotten some form of education."
Both Kaleb and Malcolm's later caused Gabriel's smile to widen. Such a sweet sound it was. "Hush, Kaleb." He glanced over his shoulder for a moment, trying to catch a glimpse of the adorable child he had taken in, smiling still. "One day, Malcolm will say the same about you." His ghostly purple gaze fell back onto Kaleb. "And you know the pain of spending time with such mischievous little children who cannot go a day without reminding you how old you are." For good measure, Gabriel tousled Kaleb's hair once more, his smile now softening. "It was nice seeing you Kaleb. Take care of yourself, alright? And the children you travel with." Perhaps Gabriel was talking about the actual children, or everyone in general. After all, anyone younger than him was considered a child.

Clyde: Preposterous! I'm already downright adorable.
LMFAO NO
"Yeah," Aeryn looked up, searching Anderson's and August's eyes. "Please?" She looked over at her brothers and then back up at Anderson. "I-I like it here..." Her eyes dropped down.
August almost laughed. "Oh, children..." August mused. "It becomes boring after a while. Explore the world while you can..." He gently ran his fingers through their hair. "I promise you that we will see each other again. Life is about learning to say goodbye, but also acknowledging there are always chances to say hello once again."
(Little does Auggue know he's going to say hello to his daddy again, someday.)
The sudden affection from Chase caused Amara's cheeks to heat. She looked up at him through her eyelashes, almost wanting to drag him up to the room, but quickly thought better of it. "Then you should start your own school." Amara mused. "I've been home-schooled, and taught by my father." She rolled her eyes. "His cram school wasn't fun in the least."
Kaleb laughed and shook his head. "I don't think it will matter how old I am. I'll always be a child in your eyes..." He searched Gabriel's light colored eyes and smiled happily to himself. "I promise I will do my best. You're the second old person that has told me to do that today." He waved to Gabriel before turning away and slowly moving down the hallway, wondering what to do next.
Malcolm, on the other hand, was still grinning mischievously at Kaleb's little troll. Though, he sat on the end of the bed, now done making sure their room was in order. "Gabriel," he said quietly. "You should catch some sleep before we head out..."

Anderson smiled softly, leaning back into his brother again despite pulling away moments ago so they could get going. "He's right, little ones~" He reached forward to take one of Aeryn's hands, if he could, smiling brightly at his adorable granddaughter. "I'm sure we'll see each other again, no doubt about it. Your daddy and uncle will miss me so much, that they'll have to come back and see me, okay? And that means August and I can take you three out for the day." He turned his gaze over to August, giving a cheeky smile. "I'm a grandparent now, so I have to spoil my adorable grand kids more than I did with my own children, that's how it works, right?" Not that he really knew, since he obviously had no grandparents himself, but oh well.
LOL AMARA THIS IS NO TIME FOR SEX MAYBE LATER
"I thought about that once, and I'm pretty sure Scott approached me once on home schooling his brothers and Jeremiah," he smiled at the memory. "But I don't really think I'm cut out to be a teacher. I don't really have the patience for that Amara, trust me." Poor Chase, he probably couldn't tolerate people who had a hard time understanding what he was explaining when it was so simple to him, but maybe, if Cloudy wants, maybe he was trying to do the best he could if he was teaching Jeremiah, only because the cubby was so cute. He probably read to the boy a lot and probably tried to get him to read as well. Who knows. "I guess I could try though."
Since Kaleb had left, Gabriel closed the door and stepped back into the room. He considered Malcolm's words for a few silent moments, wondering if they should leave now or wait. But a nap, even for an old man like him, was too alluring to pass up. "Very well," Gabriel muttered, stepping towards the bed, sitting himself on the edge. "I will rest for a bit." A light smirk twisted his features. "In the meantime, if you find yourself hungry, take as much as you want. Don't bother asking Clyde. In fact, if you would like to take some blankets and pillows with you, please do."

August smirked lightly. "How am I supposed to know?" He cut off from saying that "he's never had a son" and instead he said, "But I always spoiled your children, and I think I remember you getting jealous and complaining," August teased, which may or may not have happened. He chuckled and looked down at the children. "I have an idea. How about we steal away the children and hide them, and if Kenneth asks--oh wait. I have a better idea. We steal them away and ask them to hide, so we don't know where they are, so when Kenneth asks, we can truthfully say, 'I don't know'," he laughed at his evil master plan, which had Aeryn giggling too.
"By the way," Aeryn said devilishly, "Grandpas are suppose to spoil their grandchildren, a lot and never let them get in trouble~"
(LOL)
Amara smiled softly. "Well, I don't think you would be as patient with anyone else as your are with Jeremiah. I'm not going to be a good teacher, either, because I'm too bored to even try." She laughed and shook her head. "I'm better at helping people scheme and coming up with ideas. I'm better off as a general than a queen..."
Malcolm couldn't help the scheming smirk that curled onto his lips. "I'll cause a lot of trouble while you nap." His two-colored eyes flashed with his mischievous ideas, though it dropped to something more innocent and sullen as he watched Gabriel. "If that noble tries to bother you again while you're sleeping, I'll make sure he regrets it." His words were eerily sweet. He slipped off the bed and looked up at Gabriel, habitually waiting for permission to leave.

"Oh, yes, I like that idea," the grandfather mused, trying to pull which ever grandchild was closest towards him. "Mm, brother, what do you think? How about we hide them in the closet in our room until their father leaves?" The little mouse smiled playfully. "With a group as big as this, I'm sure Kenneth won't notice three missing little ones~"
"You're good at taking charge and making sure everyone's alright. That's the quality of a queen, not a military officer," he said softly. "Give yourself more credit than that. You'll make a great queen when you're ready." Dina isn't sure where Chase and Amara were going, but if they were going to see if Seth was ready, then maybe they were close to the room at this point after all that walking and talking.
"Good, good," the ancient ketsuki mused softly, slowly kicking off his boots. "Now go on, go be mischievous. Remember to grab food before we leave." And with that, Gabriel went to lay down so he could sleep. Honestly, he's been alive for so long, you think he would have adjusted his sleeping schedule, but he never bothered to change.. Things will probably change now that Malcolm is with him.

Laughter left August. "Well, I think our plans are already thwarted. Kenneth might have a bat on his children." August's eyes danced as he watched Aeryn giggle in Anderson's lap and hug him.
"One time we were kidnapped and Daddy saved us. He had bats on us," Aeryn leaned against Anderson. "I love you, Grandpa Andy, but I would want you to Daddynap Daddy so we could stay here." She glanced up at Anderson with a soft smile. Reaching up, she kissed Anderson's cheek. August blatantly stared at Aeryn, a bit bewildered at her "happy" memory.
Amara smiled lightly at him. "You would be a much better queen than what I could be." A small laugh left her and she knocked at the door. She heard a muffled "come in" and opened the door. All the bags were packed, except for a few clothes thrown across the room.
"I'll scratch your hands into ribbons if you try to put me in that bath," Jeremiah hissed, clad in only boxers, on top of the night stand, with a fire poker in his hands.
Seth had his hands held up and he gave Chase an exasperated glance. "He won't take a bath."
"This-This thing offered to take a bath with me!" Jeremiah snapped. If anyone is really wondering, this is Zachariah.
"Oh, I said I would keep my shorts on! I don't get it! I bathed you yesterday, why are you stinky again?" Seth let out a groan and held his head.
Zachariah leaped off the bedside stand and gathered his clothes, hoping to escape before Chase grabbed him. "Because I'm supposed to be!"
"Tigers are supposed to like water!" Seth groaned and flopped onto the bed, gathering a giggling baby in his arms.
Malcolm nodded and quietly sneaked out of the room. A smirk curled his lips and he crawled down the hallway, sneaking down the hallway with evil plans in mind. Some of which included putting jelly between Clyde's covers. And if that couldn't work, then in his shoes. Pudding would work too. Or mayo.
No, peanut butter. Definitely peanut butter.

Anderson was just as concerned as August was about Aeryn's 'happy' memory, but he didn't show it. continuing to smile softly at the little ones. "Well, you'll have to share the story with us some time, Aeryn. August and I would be very interested in hearing it~" Perhaps, it wasn't that big of a deal since his granddaughter had said Kenneth had rescued them. While that was all good, Anderson couldn't help but feel concerned for his grandchildren traveling around as much as they did with their father. He was in no position to say anything, but he would probably voice his concerns to his father/mother/brother later.
Perhaps, maybe Chase was able to close the door or somehow block Jeremiah's path before the child could escape. If that had been done, if Cloudy wants, then his mind worked quickly to come up with a solution. Yes, he had one. And he hoped Seth and Amara wouldn't give him away. "Wait, Jeremiah, I didn't want to tell you this..." Perhaps, if Jeremiah hadn't gotten away, Chase crouched down in front of the adorable child. "But I read this book one time about hygiene- I know that sounds weird but I bought it for Seth one time because he was just like you-" Chase took a quick moment to pray to all the gods above that Seth wouldn't say anything. "and I read that if you don't bathe, not only will you smell, but after a while.. Bugs will start to grow in your skin." It was difficult holding back a smile, but Chase managed to regardless. "It's really awful. They'll crawl out of your ears and.. it's a horrible way to die, really.."
Malcolm is so cute~!
