"You neither," Alec whispered, searching Anderson's eyes. He blinked over at Kenneth and blinked quickly. A grin lifted his lips and he reached over for his adopted father. "Carry me!" He wrapped his arms around Kenneth's neck and glanced over at Anderson, feeling an empty pit already grow inside his chest. He already missed them. His eyes flickered over to August. He opened his mouth, but August lifted a finger to his lips.
"Shh," August walked over to Alec and gave him a quick hug. "Don't say the g or b word."
Alec giggled and looked up at Kenneth. "I'm ready. P-" He swallowed the name and continued, "Pretty sure that a friend of mine grabbed my bags." His cheeks heated. "Or bag. I only have one... Bag, I mean, not friends--I have a lot of friends now." A sigh left Alec and he hid his face. He was speaking nervously and he didn't know why.
Elliot felt distress build in his chest. His brother was irritated, that much he could tell. But he also obviously didn't want to travel. It wasn't as if he could give in to his brother's wishes. A breath left Elliot, and he let out a weak, "I'm sorry..." With his free arm, he tried to hold Elias close to his side. "We can ride my partner together, if you want. That way you can sleep a bit more and I'll make sure you don't fall."
Scott probably made his way down the hallway.
Richard smiled softly, running his fingers through Edwin's hair. "Yes... if not a bit delayed. I'll stay here only to pack up and set things up for the other horses. I don't know where they're going, but I figured I would follow them around Eloria. I'm not sure if I will continue after that. I was actually considering going back to my parent's house, and looking around..."
Kasimir nodded, glancing to the side as he searched the few bats he had. "To my understanding, most people seem to be outside already. Noah, you don't necessarily have time to clean. I don't think Kenneth will do a headcount of anyone past his children." He tilted his head for a moment. Would Kenneth notice he's gone? Kasimir glanced around. Would Kenneth keep a bat on him? Suddenly, his gut tightened. If Kenneth did...
It wasn't as if he would care. A sad smile lifted Kasimir's lips as he came to the conclusion. "What else needs packing?" He glanced down at Noah, and then around the room.

Anderson pulled away which allowed Kenneth to adjust Alec in his arms so that he was holding him now. Kenneth smiled. "Ah, that's good, Alec." The ketsuki probably knew Alec was going to say Patch, and since Anderson, August, and Clyde were nearby, Kenneth decided to be a decent person for once. "Hey, little Coley, why don't you go get Patch and see if any of the others are ready to go? I promise I'll carry you when we leave, alright?" Or, perhaps the ketsuki was more focused on leaving as soon as they could rather than worrying about Alec's 'friend.' Either way, it was something Kenneth didn't want to discuss, especially in front of Clyde. Not that Kenneth was ashamed of Alec- he would let the little bird tell his own business to Anderson and August- it was just... Clyde.
Elias pulled away when he saw that Scott had left the room, sitting up. "No, that's okay, Elliot. Let's just get going, okay?"
Sam, too, had noticed Scott had left. Instead of following, Sam turned to his younger brothers and stepped over to them. He offered them a bright smile, a very Sam-like smile. "Are you ready, little brothers?" Sam sat himself down beside Elias, his smile softening. "Need any help, littler brother?"
The middle triplet's face headed with all the attention he was getting. "No, I'm okay.. Let's just go before Scott leaves us behind.." See, even though Elias had laid back down in the bed, he had wisely changed clothes and put his shoes on earlier so he didn't have to deal with any last minute problems. He stood, Sam following behind them, but both brothers paused to wait for Elliot.
Edwin nodded slowly, taking in his father's words. "Well, if you want, maybe before you go to your old home, you could come back here for a bit and then you and I could go together?" He offered with a small smile. "I think it'd be interesting to see where you grew up and what not." Dina isn't sure if Richard had ever taken his son there, but maybe Edwin was always curious about that stuff, perhaps because their family was once considered royalty.
Kenneth wouldn't leave his boyfriend best bro behind. Only if Kasimir had asked him to. Maybe Noah had caught sight of Kasimir's sad smile, but he said nothing about it. It was not his place to. "O-oh.. Not much, I already did most of it (probably knowing Noah) last night.. I just have to check the room to make sure Hanna or Hiro didn't leave anything behind.."

"I don't know where he is," Alec whined. "I don't have a Patch locator, nor creepy bats to spy on people." He wriggled out of Kenneth's grasp with a grin and lightly landed on the ground. "Now all of you are giants again." He probably had to crane his head to look up at all of them. "I'll go check the rooms to see if anyone is not ready."
"I'll accompany you up the stairs," Clyde held out a hand for Alec to take. The isoke grinned and took Clyde's hand. He pulled the noble towards the grand stairs, but then paused to glance back at Kenneth. "Oh! Amara and some others are outside already." As Clyde and Alec ascended the stairs, a black-haired grumpy little doctor made his way down.
"I was wondering how long Clyde would last around Kenneth." August mused. "Not too long at all."
Elliot smiled brightly and stood. He paused and made sure that he had grabbed everything before stepping out the doorway. He waited for his brothers and then walked beside them if they came out. "I think Scott left us." He let out a small laugh. "He's so mean..."
Richard brightened eagerly. "I will! It's quite a grand place, but it sits abandoned now." A sigh left Richard and he looked at Edwin, searching his gaze. "But for now I should go pack..." He stood and then held out a hand to help Edwin up. He had no envy for ketsuki and their long live spans. He was already exhausted of his life now, even if he hadn't accomplished anything meaningful at all. While he still wanted to meet Edmund, he also felt as if he had lived what he was meant to live for his life. "What will you do? Go have wine with Clyde?"
"I'll help you then," Kasimir stretched and stepped away from Noah to begin the task of searching through things. His "searching" was throwing blankets across the room, and removing mattresses from their beds so that he could "look under the beds". He half wanted to carve "Kasimir was here" on the walls, but then decided against it.
Poor Noah... having to deal with Kasimir and his still rebellious attitudes against the man who pretended to be his father.
If Kasimir allowed himself to sit and think about it, he would be hit with emotional turmoil. Who was he, if he was not a Tudor? Who was he meant to be? Who had been his real family? The need to find out was just as powerful as the fright of finding out.
He didn't know who he was anymore.
Speaking of Amara, our queen laid on her back in a patch of grass, soaking in the warmth of the sun. She was stretched out on the grass, her growing hair fanned out around her. Knowing Amara, she probably had been one of the first people to get out. As ever changing as the wind, she preferred to be on her feet and on the go than to being stuck in a room.

Kenneth snorted, rolling his eyes. "Maybe," Anderson mused, "but see, even Clyde can't resist adorable little Alec~" Since the father didn't have to hold Alec anymore, he wandered over to August and leaned himself against his brother. "Mm, Kenneth, are you sure you have to take him with you?"
"Oh, I'm sure Alec wants to head out," the son muttered, glancing to the side, avoiding August's gaze. "And I'm sure he wants to head back to Calder as soon as he can." He let out a silent sigh. "No doubt he wants to head back to his warehouse so he can start working on planes again.."
Perhaps, if Cloudy wants, maybe Kenneth caught sight of Scott coming down the stairs. A soft smile curled his lips as he rested his blood red gaze on the doctor. "Are you alright, Scott?" He called out to the doctor. "Your brothers aren't with you."
"Then let's catch up to him~" Sam mused, probably trying to usher his adorable little brothers towards the stair well.
The son laughed softly. "No, I don't really drink as much as he does. No one can out drink that old ketsuki." Taking his father's hand, Edwin stood, adjusting his shirt. "I'll probably just hang around here for a bit. I'm sure Clyde will want to know everything that's happened in my life since my last visit," he said with a smile. "Do you need help finishing packing?"
Poor Noah, all that time he had spent trying to clean the room and make it look nice so Clyde's servants didn't have to do too much work. A frown creased his lips as he watched Noah with his icy blue eyes. He still didn't feel it was his place to say anything, but he couldn't help but mutter, "I don't think this will affect Clyde that much... He won't have to worry about it, but his help..." He only said that because he knew what that felt like.
"Ready to go, huh?" Came the sound of Chase's voice as he stepped over to her, smiling lightly. Perhaps, as a little joke, Chase set his bag down on Amara (since she was just laying there) before sitting himself down beside her. "So, do you know where this caravan of ours is heading next?" He only asked because Chase hadn't heard any news, just that they were heading out.
He was exhausted... Having traveled around for most of his life, Gabriel spent little time adjusting his schedule for those who slept during the night. But now, with the entire household awake and ready to move out and Malcolm to worry about, Gabriel found it difficult to stick to his daily routine. Gabriel was awake though just barely and his hair and clothes were a disheveled mess. Perhaps, if Cloudy wanted, he was in a room with Malcolm. If the small ketsuki was awake, then Gabriel thought now was the best time to figure out what they were to do next. "Malcolm?" The ancient ketsuki started, sitting on the edge of the bed, head tiredly pressed into his hands. "Malcolm, I will likely be heading out soon as well and I cannot risk your safety. Is there anywhere I can drop you off at? Extended family? Family friends?"

August smiled. If Kenneth was paying attention, then he would have noted that August's happiness spiked when his brother leaned on him. He wrapped his arms around Anderson and lazily rested his chin on Anderson's shoulder. He listening to the small doctor as he hit the bottom stair and walked towards them.
"I ate them," Scott said in all seriousness. "Because they took too long to come down here. I've been standing around for the last hour for them to get their stuff together, and Elias hadn't even got off from the bed." A sigh left him, and he patted his stomach. "No more having to worry about that though." His scarred lips stretched with a wide smile.
A puff of dark smoke expanded into the room and within the smoke, the shape of a young man took shape: Rylan. He cast a glance over at Scott and gave him a bright smile. "Hello Scotty~ Make sure not to str-" What ever he was going to say got cut off when he saw that Kenneth was in the room. He nearly bit off his tongue when he snapped his teeth together. His eyes fell down to his bag, which he left by the door. "Um... Kenneth, sir, do you mind if I retrieve my bags?"
If Dina wants, the golbros could reach the stairs and climb down them.
Richard chuckled, "I finally understand why you two like each other so much! You give Clyde his wine, and Clyde gives you an ear and doesn't complain when you talk too much!" He found himself laughing even more. His laughter eased away and he gave Edwin a look that parents give their children after they're all grown up. "I'm proud of you, Winnie." He pulled Edwin in for a hug and blinked back his tears. "I have my packing handled. You can go talk to Clyde."
Kasimir paused and looked at Noah. His lips parted and then he closed it for a moment. Ah. "I know, he won't... he probably won't even hear of it." His brows pulled together and he rubbed his temples. "Noah, I'm... I'm angry. I know I don't seem it," he stepped over to Noah and paused. Why explain it to him? The boy shouldn't have to listen to him. He's been through enough. "Everything is handled here. Don't worry about the room, I'll put it back together. Alright?"
If that's what Noah wanted, he would do it. "Don't worry about Hiro's or Hanna's bags, alright? I'll take those down, too. You should go find them and see if there's anything you want to eat." He gave Noah a soft smile. "I can't promise that we'll find somewhere to eat right away."
"Oh, so heavy," Amara pretended like she couldn't breathe underneath the bag. "How many books did you steal?" With a brilliant smile, she sat up with Chase's bag in her lap and she wrapped her arms around it, pondering. "Well, I think a little birdy kept whispering into the big bad vamp that he wanted to go to Calder. That's cool. I'm done with Era for a while, y'know?" A sigh left Amara and her brows collapsed together. Era. Ugh.
Malcolm sat in a chair, mindlessly sipping hot chocolate he made for himself. His little bat rested in his shoulders, dozing, at least until Gabriel spoke. Malcolm's eyes snapped up to the older ketsuki and then looked at him from head to toe. He's tired. Why is he awake? Pressing his lips together, Malcolm's eyes flickered back down to the hot mug in his hands.
He managed to sneak whipped cream on top of if, which made the hot chocolate that much better. Guilt wrapped around his chest and his small fingers curled. Would he be awake for him? Tears pinched Malcolm's gaze, but he lowered his eyes to hide it.
His lips parted and he pondered for a moment. "Yeah, b-but you don't have to drop me off. It's actually kinda close and I could walk there by tonight..." He swallowed thickly, his grip tightening on the cup. "I can leave soon." And go where? Maybe I can pretend to leave, and ask the head of house if they need an extra pair of hands after...

Kenneth was about to address Scott, until his attention drifted over to Rylan. Kenneth's expression became one of disdain and boredom. "Oh, are these yours?" The ketsuki asked, motioning to Rylan's bags. For a moment, the ketsuki had forgotten his father and uncle were present, too caught up with tormenting Rylan. "Oh, no," he mused, smirking, "I don't think you can. I think I'll keep these. You never know, having extra clothes could certainly come in handy, don't you think?" To prove his point, Kenneth strolled on over to Rylan's bags. He crossed his arms and gave Rylan face that could only be read as, What are you going to do about it?
"Well, you just be careful out there, okay?" Edwin muttered quietly. Much like a child, Edwin leaned into his father's hug before pulling away. The older son offered his sire a smile in return before going to step away, going to leave the room so that he could find where ever Clyde had gone to.
And now Noah felt even worse, having Kasimir say he'd do all the work. Too bad his ears were hidden under the hat, because Kasimir would have seen them drop. "No, that's okay," the young shala daora said quietly. "I can at least bring their bags downstairs." As he said that, Noah moved towards the suitcases. He wasn't really sure if Hiro and Hanna had finished packing, only because he had probably packed up himself. Without waiting for Kasimir to reply, Noah picked up the bags and went to leave the room.
Chase snorted. "I could probably steal as many books as I want from this place as I want," he said with a smile. "I'm sure no one would miss them." He lulled his head back, thinking. "Calder, huh? So Alec wants to go back to his warehouse? Does that mean we'll be stationed there for a while too?" Not that Chase minded traveling, he was just starting to get bored with staying in one place for long. Of course, Chase wouldn't go anywhere. Cute little Chase was still loyal to his friends.
Malcolm's words caused Gabriel to look up and glanced over at the child, his brows lifting. "By yourself? Malcolm, I cannot let you travel by yourself, even if the place is nearby. I will escort you over there myself when ever you are ready to leave, alright?" Gabriel stood, trying to shake the exhaustion from himself. If he sat still for too long, he'd end up falling asleep. "Just let me know when you are ready to go." Gabriel paced for a moment, wondering if he should go say goodbye to Kaleb. But he didn't want to risk running into Clyde.

"I-" Rylan's voice caught on his face and his eyes lit up with calculation. "K-Kenneth, sir, I don't think you would enjoy my choice of wardrobe. It..." He glanced over to Scott who looked close to laughing. "I-I-" A sigh left Rylan and his shoulders dropped. Alright. Now he had to buy new clothes...
"I keep," Scott let out a laugh, "imagining Kenneth in Rylan's purple skinny jeans, and-" He covered his mouth as his laughter bubbled out.
"Kenneth," the authoritative voice caused Rylan to flinch. August frowned at Kenneth and shook his head lightly. "Stop acting like a child and hand the poor child his bag. Even if you have power, you should respect those who have lesser power than yourself." August gave a pointed look at Anderson that said "Do something about your son."
Clyde had drifted the hallways very carefully, in fear of running into Kasimir. Eventually, he made it back to his own room and sat at small table that sat in his room. The table sat near a window, and from the window he watched activity outside of it.
"Noah, be careful when going down the stairs with all of those," Kasimir advised lightly as he pulled the mattress back onto the bed. "And don't let Hanna and Hiro take advantage of you." He waited till it sounded like Noah left before letting out a breath and slowly sliding to the floor. He held his head, trying to sort some of the turmoil inside of him while he could.
He only needed a few moments, and then he could continue on.
A sigh left Amara. "Ugh, probably..." Reaching up, she ran her fingers through her hair. "I've actually been wondering... we've been in this huge group for a while. Maybe it should be time to split off soon... but I don't know where to go anymore." She scooted over till she was beside Chase and could lean against him. Her eyes flickered up to him. "Is there any places you want to visit?"
Panic shot up Malcolm's throat and he stared up at Gabriel. Quickly, he slid onto his feet and glanced up at the tall ketsuki. "I can leave now, but--" His throat began to close with shock. "Is there a need to for me to pack your things for you?" His little mind buzzed with panic.
How long could he lie? Not long. "G... Gabriel..." Malcolm said very quietly. "Please don't go out of your way... I... I am fine on my own..."
What if he just ran away, right then? Grabbed all his things?
Tears filled Malcolm's face and he hid it behind his cup, getting whipped cream on his nose. He was afraid to be alone, but he also didn't want to bother Gabriel. Who else could he go to...?
No one.

Anderson let out a huff. All he had wanted to go was stand with his brother and stay as cute as they were being. “He doesn’t listen to me, August,” the father muttered, taking a step towards his son. “Kenneth, go on, leave the poor child alone,” he hissed lightly. Kenneth opened his mouth to object, but Anderson stopped him. “Kenneth, why don’t you just go see if your children are ready to go instead of terrorizing unnecessarily.” The leader ketsuki took a step away from Rylan’s bag and sent the teen a glare that could probably kill. This wasn’t the last of this..
“Go,” Anderson hissed. To himself, he muttered, “before I go to find some holy water.." With gritted teeth, the ketsuki leader stalked off, just as his father made his way back over to August.
(Shouldn't Clyde go to yell at Gabriel now or did you want to do something with him and Edwin?)
(And for Kasimir, did you want Kenneth to visit his boyfriend friend?)
Chase lulled his head against hers, listening silently as she spoke before speaking himself. "Not really. I don't mind traveling around." He pulled away for a moment to glance down at her. "Why? Is there some place you wanted to visit and go our separate ways for just a bit?" He smiled softly. "If that's something you want to do, I don't see why not. I'd just have to say goodbye to Seth and Jeremiah." But as he thought more about it, Chase wasn't sure if he could leave his brother or Jeremiah. See, the problem with traveling with a group was that you entrench yourself without really realizing it.
Stubborn child, Gabriel thought to himself, though he realized he had no idea how to handle children. "Oh, there really is nothing much to pack," he muttered quietly. "Malcolm," the ancient ketsuki began again, perhaps cautiously sitting himself down beside the child, watching him with those ghostly purple eyes. "Please, I need you to be honest, I am only trying to help.. Do you have anywhere to go? Do you know where your parents are?"
(aorry for the bad post, I'm super tired/distracted right now..)

Rylan held in a whimper and pressed his lips tightly together as Kenneth left. He walked over to his bag and lifted it up, glancing up at the two older McCarthers. August was laughing lightly under his breath at the sly comment about holy water. "Can you two, Mr. McCarthers sirs, quit your job and travel with us? I'll pay you all the money I have to make him..." Rylan nodded towards Kenneth. "Act decent towards the rest of us."
(SHIT yes. Goldfish memory. Clyde was not in his room.)
Clyde, who was not in his room, had dropped Alec off somewhere and walked through the hallways to yell at a particular guest that he couldn't wait to leave his household. He walked briskly down the hallway, his eyes already narrowed in hatred.
(LOLOL LMAO He can go see his boyfriend if he wants. Kasimir will probably make him help him clean LOL. There probably is a high probability the two trolls will end up throwing things at each other.)
Amara smiled at him. "We don't have to say goodbye. We should probably bring them, or the two would get into some kind of trouble. But then again, Seth might not want to be separated from Patch and Jozi... and we should probably offer Elaine some company, but her parents are here...." A sigh left Amara and she frowned. "We'll end up pulling the entire group with us. I suppose there would be no harm if the two of us just left for a little while..." Her heart filled with joy. She was glad Chase felt comfortable with her enough to cuddle.
Malcolm turned his head away from Gabriel, unable to take on the intensity of his gaze. The question caused his tears to spill over. He dipped his head, his tears silent. Then he let out a sniffle and his shoulders began to shake. "No. I don't have anyone. There's not one for me to go to. I-I don't know... where Daddy is, a-and, I won't... I won't go back to them... I-I... I would-"
There was a sharp knock on the door. Malcolm quickly scampered away from Gabriel and took this chance to wipe away his tears. He reached the room and opened up, "Yes?"
Clyde's face flickered with shock then quickly fell away to understanding. "You're the little one..." His eyes flickered up into the room. "Can I have a word with Gabriel?" Clyde said it with as much enthusiasm as Kenneth would hugging a half-blood. "Why do you make children cry? Do you even remember what children are like, you old man?"

Anderson thought about it for a moment, growing increasingly annoyed at the thought of his son tormenting those in their group who weren't ketsuki. Obviously, the father didn't share his son's ideals. "No," he finally said. "I can't leave Clyde's, but I will talk to Kaleb about it. There's no point in traveling around with people you feel unsafe with. And that's not fair to you because in a group, you're supposed to feel safe. Stupid boy," Anderson muttered under his breath, turning away from Rylan to face August. "Don't say anything, Brother. It's not my fault he became a racist fool." It was more than obviously to tell poor Anderson was annoyed at Kenneth.
Kenneth slithered away as frantically like a snake who had been spotted trying to bite someone. He growled, muttering something under his breath about getting Rylan back later. But all was forgotten not a moment later when Kenneth decided to go see his boyfriend friend. He took a few turns here and there, following where his bats had last seen Kasimir going- No, Kenneth had not had a bat on his friend when he was with Noah- and perhaps, after wandering aimlessly for a moment or two, Kenneth found Kasimir in the bedroom. If Kasimir was cleaning (Dina doesn't know) then Kenneth let out a small chuckle. "What are you doing? Cleaning? I expected you to destroy the rooms here as much as you could. Maybe set a pillow on fire. Or two."
Chase smiled softly, though he still wasn't sure how he felt about leaving Seth and Jeremiah, even if it was only for a little while. He bit through those feelings for a moment. "Sure, if that's what you want. But we should at least head out with them, for a bit, just to see where we're heading. Maybe we can head out on our own for a bit if the group does decide to stop at the warehouse again."
The wheels had been churning as Malcolm spoke, as he told the truth. But even still, Gabriel didn't know what to do. The only thing the ancient ketsuki was sure of was that Malcolm could not be left alone. He opened his mouth, prepared to speak, until he heard that voice, that gods damn voice that made every fiber in his being want to reach for his sword. Gabriel took inn a deep, silent breath to calm himself before glancing up at Clyde. "Yes, Clyde, I do. Unlike those who were so busy making bigots out of themselves, I actually took care of people. I actually performed my duties. Now get out, I am trying to discuss something with the child."
