Weeks have passed and left the Charlot paranoid and jumpy, not that he would admit either. He kept assuming that black wolf would leap out of the shadows and kill him. Not that much matter. He was on the deck, near a bit of a secluded area. With not too many people around, he sat on top of a few secured crates, phone pressed to his ear. While Charlot usually hid the emotions on his face, there wasn't much of anyone around, and he was worried.
His father hadn't answered the phone. It had been a few days since Charlot last heard of his father. On their last conversation, his father seemed normal, acting perfectly fine. But then he said something weird, "{Know that I will always love you.}"
Charlot sighed when his father didn't answer. A dog whine pulled him out of his depressed state and he leaned over, glancing down to his best and only friend. "Laurent, he didn't answer the phone again... come here." Reaching down, Charlot barely managed to catch the scruff of his friend and pull him up onto the crates with him. Laurent then pushed himself into Charlot's lap and draped himself over the male's legs.
Sadness filled Charlot's eyes. "I know I shouldn't worry, but I do. He's done this before, only when the power went out... but now he has a cell phone and he isn't answering that either."
Laurent looked up at Charlot with worry reflecting in them.
Leaning over, Charlot wrapped his arms around the dog and closed his eyes. For a few moments, he stayed that way, until pulling away to try calling his father again. His chest tightened with anxiety, but he did his best to ignore it.

The pirate vessel glided effortlessly across the waves, approaching an island that was the home of the pirate port, a cesspool for illegal activity, such as smuggling in illegal merchandise, be that goods or people, and guarded by all the wrong people. As they sailed, the ever busy captain paced across the deck, wandering about the next shipment, his next payment, and whether or not this was how he was going to spend the rest of his life. Always wonderful.
Marco's head hurt still and now with the added "problems" on his ship, it felt a lot like he was walking on nails. Now every time they shipped out, he'd have to waste time with extra security sweeps. The next time Claus opened his gods damned mouth about how he was doing something wrong, the captain would-
What would he do? He didn't know. Marco was in too much pain and anger to even think of anything.
A soft sound suddenly reached his ears. A voice, perhaps? He wasn't sure, but Marco decided to investigate, heading towards a more secluded part of the deck. Weaving through the maze of crates, perhaps, if Cloudy wants, the captain stumbled upon the sight of one of the "problems" that currently infested his ship. But unlike Claus, he wouldn't have to worry about this one for long. Cautiously, Marco stepped towards Charlot until he stopped, leaning against a crate. "We'll be docking soon," the captain announced. "Are you ready to get going?"

The sudden voice caused Charlot to shout in surprise, and made Laurence let out a yelp. The dog leaped off the crate and crouched on the ground, only to move away and hide between crates. "Merde! {You fucking whore!}" He let quickly cleared his throat and put a hand over his heart, trying to calm his heart. Then, he heard his father's missed call message.
With a groan, Charlot ended the call and slipped the phone into his pocket, giving Marco a raised brow. "My deepest apologies for swearing at you." Charlot doubted Marco even knew what he said. "The ship is docking?" A sigh left him and he frowned. "Oh." He nodded and rested his head in his hands.
"Perfect." How was he even going to get back? If he managed to hide away as soon as they got off, he could attain a new disguise and smuggle himself back to Eloria, but there was the high probability that Claus was going to gladly point out what he was. "I'll get my things together and gladly get out of your hair, and possibly die along the way, and perhaps figure out why-"
Cutting himself of, Charlot glanced down at Marco. "Claus won't be there to bit me farewell, right?"

"Well, seeing as I've caused you enough grief, I'll do my best to keep him preoccupied with the cargo and what not." Marco glanced to the side, silent, unsure of what to say now. He thought for a moment, trying to decide if he should say anything more or leave. This was a resistance member after all, an organization that wouldn't hesitate to lock him away. "You'll survive here as long as you keep your head down. It shouldn't be that hard to find a ship to sneak onto. Ships usually docked in the western port are the ships heading out to Eloria." The island was probably, despite its clientele, probably fairly organized. Or at least the ports were. "Good luck. And tell your superiors that I don't appreciate being used." Though Marco appeared almost tired as he said this, tired and annoyed with all the unwelcome guests on his ship. "Is that who you were trying to call?"

Charlot tried to shield his shock and he was unable to. Marco was helping him out. "Uh, thanks," he muttered when he mentioned what docks to look for. He smirked lightly at Marco's words. "I'm beginning to think I should retire." With that he slid off the crate, making sure he didn't land too close to Marco, and glanced over at the pirate. At first he hesitated, then he shrugged. Why would it matter if Marco knew? "I still have family, even if I'm from the 'evil' Resistance." A small smile lifted his lips. "I was trying to call my father. He... hasn't been picking up." With a shrug, Charlot rubbed the back of his neck. "Um... good luck pirating, I suppose." Charlot was unsure if he should say anything more, he was afraid of being shoved against the crate and choked again. Just in case, he stepped away.
Percival lightly danced through the crew, escaping orders being shouted among the different members. Excitement thrummed on the deck because it was a chance for all of them to finally get their feed on stable ground. Especially a ground that they didn't have to worry about hiding their pirate identities on.
Following his nose proved to be difficult, especially in his human form, but Percival didn't feel like running around all feathered in front of the other pirates. He finally followed Marco's trail back towards a more secluded part of the deck.
He ignored the man, Charlot, who he had talked to once or twice before, and chirped out, "Captain! We're practically landed now. The crew is awaiting your orders!" Pausing for a moment, Percival tried not to look sheepish when he asked, "How long will we be docked here, sir?"

"I never said the Resistance was evil," Marco growled to himself. But since Percy had arrived, the captain turned his attention away from the resistance member, his steady gaze flickered over to Percy. His brows furrowed at the latter's question, contemplating for a moment. "Do you know who we have with us on this ship? I don't think staying here any longer than we have to is a good idea." The captain began to walk away, only to pause and glance back at Charlot. "I suggest you get going as well. You probably don't want to run into Claus and I don't want to worry about cleaning up after the mess you two make." With that, Marco continued to make his way back towards the main deck, perhaps motioning for Percy to follow him. If Percy had, maybe followed him, the captain went on. "As soon we get our next ship, we're off. Why ask?"

Charlot quickly scampered away. He grabbed the rest of his things and had his partner at his feet. The two waited, out of the way and out of sight, for the ship to finish docking.
Percival opened his mouth and then closed it, tugging his lower lip for a moment. "Well, I am going to go search for something, and I was just curious how much time I had. I think Kyru is coming with me, maybe Kida. I'm trying to convince Kida to stay on board..." He reached up to scratch his head. Perhaps, if Dina wants, the twins wanted to get a present for Marco to celebrate their anniversary of meeting each other, if they've known each other that long.

That would be absolutely adorable. Of course, Marco didn't know this, however. The thought of the little group he had "adopted" walking about the pirate infested ports didn't settle well with him. Yes, they were pirates themselves, but.. "Fine," the captain finally muttered, glancing over at his crew, his brows pulled together still. But then Marco let his gaze fall back over to Percy. "Well, if you're going to head out, then make sure you look after them, alright? Especially if Kida goes with you." Marco let out a breath he had been unknowingly holding in, trying to hide the fact that he still worried about the idea. "Do you know if Kendall is going with you?" Distracted, the captain hadn't noticed that, now docked, his crew was already starting to unload cargo. Not that he minded. They had all done this enough to know what to do.

Percival couldn't help but laugh at "especially Kida". "I don't know if Doll- Kendall is coming. I was kind of hoping that he could convince Kida to stay on the ship with him, but I think Kida's going to end up coming and I'll be watching all of them." A happy smile lifted Percival's lips until he realized who he was talking to. His cheeks pinched pink and he said, "I'll keep a close eye on them. If you wanted, you could come too... but... you probably want to keep an eye on your ship." Percival looked around, looking for Kendall and the twins. Most likely, Kida was probably hanging on Kendall somewhere.
Cloudy knows their relationship has never been touched, but she can see the twins, especially Kida, really liking Kendall.
As quiet as a frog, Charlot slid off the ship with and onto the docks. He wove between pirates, feeling fill of dread.

Kendall was probably waiting near the steps that led off the ship. Even though he wore his scarf, he was still smiling lightly. The twins were adorable enough to always make him smile. But not in the same way Percy made him smile.
"No, you're right. I have to stay here and make sure everything moves as smoothly and swiftly as it needs to." Marco folded his arms across his chest and leaned himself against the railing of the ship. "Just go on, alright? Watch the two and get back here as soon as you can." The captain let out a tired sigh, tipping his head to the side. "But if you still need to convince Kida to stay, tell him i have a job for him, alright?"
