"Yeah? And what's the fun in that?" Seth smirked over his shoulder. "If someone is getting gutted, I want to watch. You don't have to." His followed the crowd, smirking.
Scott flashed his brother a small smile--super hero. Thank the gods he had his brother back. Otherwise, who else would be there to call out for him? He quickly pushed himself through the crowd, diving through people, and came close enough to hear Kenneth's voice, "What happened?"
Oh. Oh gods. Aaron paled--or would have if he had any blood. He shakily stood, pain flashing through him again, and moved Nate behind him. He stumbled a heartbeat, his legs shaking from exertion. His pants were soaked red, telling him that he should be flat on his ass.
Scott started forward.
"Ah, shit," Seth swore vehemently. "Lookie who."
Rylan grasped the back of Scott's shirt and yanked him back, "Scott, no."
Aaron managed a smile, one without humor. He let out a shaky breath and tried to stand still, but he felt like he was swinging back and forth. "Nate? Remember what I said, alright?" Aaron said, trying to keep the pain from his voice. "Remember what I said."
"Excuse you," Scott shoved against Rylan. "He needs help, and quickly-"
"This mother fucker," Seth sneered. "Yeah. Sure. He needs help as much as the next asshole. Why don't we go find ourselves a slaver and help them-"
"Do you think I care whose side he's on? He's dying," Scott snapped.
"You stabbed Hiro," Kasimir growled.
"Yeah. I screwed all of you over, and it's just fucking great luck on my part," Aaron snapped. "But they," Aaron snarled, pointing a finger towards Hiro, who still crouched and held his ringing ears, "stabbed my child! They stabbed Nate's eye. So-" Aaron lost his breath. He reached back, to place a hand on Nate's head. "Nate, remember what I said. You remember. It's okay, you're okay, alright? You're okay."

This was why he shouldn't have let Seth make his way to the front. Nothing but problems.. Chase wondered if it was possible for the group to go one day without something going wrong. But, with the amount of people traveling with them, the odds of something going wrong were always high. "Seth," the older brother snapped. "Let Scott take care of him."
"Oh," Kenneth finally said. "Now I remember him." Yes, the underground (pool? mini lake thing?) in Letha. Where he met Austin and Aeryn for the first time. "Ah, well. It was your son he stabbed. I do believe that gives you the right to handle him however you want to," the evil devil said to Kasimir.
"N-not w-without you," Nate sobbed. His hold on Aaron probably tightened. There were people all around them with obvious history with Aaron. Maybe, if he were braver, he could run. But if he were braver, Nate would try to protect Aaron. If he were stronger, he could. Instead, he was a shaking sobbing mess.

"Would you guys stop," Scott yanked himself away from Rylan.
Aaron took in a deep breath and his shoulders deflated. What kind of group was this? His eyes scoured faces. It didn't seem like the type of group to sell a kid off to slavery. But then again, they did stab Nate. A new round of anger clicked through him and his eyes slid to Rylan. "I would say it's nice to see your pretty face," Aaron said dryly, "but it's not pretty." Something dark flashed over Rylan's eyes and a cruel glint filled Aaron's eyes. "You're probably feeling sick right about now. There's confusion, anger, what else in the air? Worry? Fear? I bet you're about to shit your pants-"
"What the hell are you doing here, Aaron?" Rylan snapped.
"You look like shit, Rylan," Aaron swept a gaze over him. "What, didn't think you were pretty enough so you quit eating? And sleeping?" His eyes flickered over to Seth and his brows raised a fraction of an inch. "Or did you just donate all the fat to Seth? What are you doing with all that blubber? Or is that because you're a domestic bitch now?" Aaron raised his brows, eyes flickering to Chase. "Finally run crying back to big br-"
Seth shot forward before Aaron could react. He slammed a fist into Aaron's nose and felt the break resonate in his hand. A cry left Aaron and he hit the ground like a sack of drowning kittens. "Asshole!" Seth snapped.

Nate let out another cry of fear when Aaron was struck and his shield maybe fell away from him. Now the poor kitten was out in the open, vulnerable. Meanwhile, Chase stepped forward and tried desperately to yank his brother back and away from Aaron. "Would you behave yourself, Seth?" The older twin hissed, his hand maybe locked onto Seth's shoulder. "I'm sure Scott would appreciate it if you didn't injure him anymore than he already is."
Dina really apologizes for this.
Another cry filled the once quiet street, emulating from the small kitten. But it sounded strangled as the boy suddenly fell back onto the ground. All of his stress and fear pressed down heavily onto Nate until his body began to crack under the pressure and, in some bizarre attempt to maybe protect the boy from further damage (idk man whatever), the anigma's body began to seize and convulse and he was no longer conscious.

Before Seth could snap at his brother, before Scott could address any injuries, Nate hit the ground.
A cry left Aaron that he didn't even know could leave him. It was perhaps similar to the parent crying out in fear for their child and their previous life. He shoved himself off the ground and held out hands, uncertain of what to do. Panic shot through him and he uselessly shouted, "Nate!" What-
"Aaron, back," Rylan dropped beside the boy. He wasn't sure what moved him. Maybe it was the fact that Nate was a child, innocent in all of this. Or it was the pain that contorted Aaron's face, the raw fear of what was happening to Nate. Scott was beside him in seconds and the two both gently maneuvered Nate onto his side.
"He's seizing from stress," Scott began.
"I know what to do," Rylan said. "Focus on Aaron."
With a moment's hesitation, Scott shifted over to Aaron. He put a hand on the distraught father's back and pushed him up. "I am going to need you to sit up. We don't need you drowning in your own blood. Now that I have to deal with this," Scott grumbled, shooting Seth an irritated glance.
"He deserved it," Seth snapped. "That was for Hiro, and everyone who was messed up by-"
"Just shut up, gods," Hiro finally pushed himself up onto his feet. His ears still rang. Maybe, if Dina wants, Hiro cutely turned to Noah and tried to hide his face in his shoulder or something, or lean on him.
"I am going to need my bag," Scott's eyes shot towards Kenneth, his golden eyes sparking with anger. "Now." He turned back to Aaron, glancing down at the (maybe) poor tourniquet that Aaron put on his leg. "Alec!" Scott shouted. "I am also going to need someone to hold Aaron still, please." He shifted onto his knees and peered at Aaron's nose. As quickly as he looked at it, he snapped the bone back into place.
A cry left Aaron and he swore thickly. But he never tore his eyes away from Rylan and his baby.

It was cute if Hiro maybe did lean against Noah, especially if Noah leaned back against Hiro. "We can move to the back, if you want," Noah whispered to his friend. It would certainly be quieter back there, away from all the comotion. Noah scooted closer to Hiro for a moment as Kenneth stepped passed them on his way to fetch Scott's bag.
Since there was no one else around, Chase knelt down beside Scott to offer his help. "Here, I can hold Aaron. What else do you need me to do?"
With Scott's supply bag in hand, maybe Kenneth searched around for his little sunshine bird. Maybe, if gorgeous wants, he found Alec near Patch. "Alec, come on. Scott needs you to heal someone. Quickly, now." And the ketsuki didn't wait to see if Alec followed as he made his way to the front and set Scott's bag beside the doctor.
Dina will have Nate's seizure end the next post. Yes. Poor little Nate.

"Alright," Hiro spoke just as quietly. He let out a long sigh, "I honestly deserve it if he blew out my ears... Let's go."
Scott looked around for his bag and Alec, and immediate grabbed his bag and dug through it. "Alec, I need you to heal most of his nose, just so the bleeding stops. He can't lose anymore blood." A groan left Aaron and he glanced back at Chase for a moment before his eyes fell back on Nate and Rylan.
Shakily, Alec stepped forward and shakily hovered his hands by Aaron's nose. He took in a deep breath, and pushed magic onto Aaron's nose, to speed the healing process.
The bleeding stopped. A sigh left Scott and he motioned for Alec to stay. "Alright, I'm going to stitch this up, but you can't move." Scott slid scissors out of his bag and haphazardly cut away Aaron's pants leg. He stabbed Aaron's leg with a needle, to numb the area, and quickly set to work.
"Fuck it," Aaron growled, reaching around for something to clutch onto to help with the pain. He breathed out through his mouth and took in a shaky breath. "Is Nate going to be okay-"
"He'll be fine," Scott began stitching the wound.
"Who the hell did you piss off this time?" Rylan spoke, with not so much as animosity in his voice as utter fatigue. "What made you think it was a smart idea to adopt a kid?"
Aaron shot him an irritated glance and growled, "It's none of your damn business, honestly. I think you lost that right that moment you dropped me for that-"
"Speak ill of her," Rylan's voice dropped, thin and cold, "and you'll regret it."
"Just make the fuck sure Nate's okay, or I'll--" Aaron didn't know what he would do. Honestly. "I'm not the type to just abandon people. Abandon anyone else lately, Ry?"
Rylan flinched.

Maybe, Noah tried leading Hiro away from all the comotion and slid his way through the large group of people and only stopped when they reached the back of the group.
"Stop," Chase hissed. "You two can fight later when Scott is sure Aaron isn't going to die." Or, not at all. Yeah, that would be better. If only, though.. He turned his gaze to the small boy and saw that Nate was still now. From where he sat, Chase could see the boy's small chest rise and fall with hurried deep breaths. Good, so it wasn't a long drawn out seizure. Dina doesn't want Chase to overstep Scott's boundaries as a doctor, but she just needs more for her post. "Rylan, can you move the kid's head? Make sure his mouth his towards the ground so he doesn't choke on anything." Dina is sorry.

Irritation itched Rylan, like Chase just dug his nails into his brain, and he couldn't help but shoot Chase an irritated glance. He gently maneuvered Nate and quietly said, "Chase, the seizes I have aren't the same but treated the same way." His eyes flickered up, and his lips slid into a smile that looked more dangerous than anything.
"Rylan," Scott said, his voice warning.
"I'm sorry," Rylan sighed, the creepy smile dropping. He gently wiped the hair out of Nate's face, his eyes softened with sorrow. "I'm sorry."
With a deep breath, Scott pulled back. He looked for something to help with infection and leaned back, "Chase, do you mind finding out how this happened, asking for Nate's health history?" Perfect nurse. Nurse Chase. "Make sure these two don't tear out another's throats? I need to go grab something from my other bag and another bottle." Perhaps, without waiting for much of an answer, Scott disappeared back into the crowd for his other bag.
Cloudy doesn't know. She was just giving Dina more opportunity to respond.

"Yes, but I doubt you could self treat yourself after a seizure," Chase murmured under his breath. He probably always had to get the last word in and, more than anything, he always needed to be right. Chase, however, was smart enough to know when to stop and decided that it was best to cut his argument short so he could focus on the task at hand. With Scott gone, Chase turned his attention to Aaron, who he might have still been holding at this point. "Aaron, was it? Has this ever happened to Nate before? Has he had any kind of medical emergency or problems before?"
