Ulric winced at their grip. He let out a breath in an effort to make the pain subside. "If he's always like that, then I'd rather not overstay my welcome. Maybe by tomorrow morning." As he stepped down on his back ankle he inhaled sharply. "Ugh, then again maybe not."
Lyra snorted in understanding, though she kept a close eye on either of the two maids. She watched her partner as he struggled to keep up right. A low whine escaped her and she brushed her head against him.
He glanced down at her. "Don't worry Lyra. I'm fine. Or at least I'll be fine when we get to the house. As soon as we're done here we'll be off, I swear." He shivered violently, not realizing how cold it had actually been. He glanced at the lady of the estate and dipped his head. "I hope you're right."
(I thought I posted on this days ago DX Sorry)

Lily looked back at him, face covered in worry. Her maids did their best to keep him still as they neared toward the estate. House, yeah right. When the rain finally gave way to a white mansion, she sighed in relief. "We will enter through the servant's quarters and find a temporary guest room for him." The two guards led them around the huge house and toward a door near the back.
Lily was let in first, but the maids began to rush to find him a room. The door led to a small room which led to a very long corridor with many servants about. Some gasped in shock at the bleeding boy. One of the maids requested that a towel be put on the bed for the blood.
"How are you feeling?" Lily asked as the maids led him to a room with the towel prepped on the bed.

Ulric simply nodded, doing his best to keep himself stable. Though he really help but lean on the shoulders of the two maids. For once he was glad that he was so scrawny. He glanced around at the walls of the estate. The more he looked the more he felt like he was intruding. He was just a commoner. Or rather he was more of an animal than these civilized people were. Even the Alpha Circle wasn't as high end as these people were.
He swallowed thickly. He definitely could stay here. His brow dipped a bit as he worked out a plan. As soon as he had a splint on, he'd head out on his own. The high air made him uncomfortable and out of place.
He watched the servants idly as they approached the room. "Huh?" He turned toward Lily, blinking in surprise. "Oh, heh, you want the short answer?"

Lily smiled softly as the chaos outside died down. The maids gently set him down and looked at their now bloodied uniform. They bowed to Lily and went off, not minding the blood. The maids let Lyra in before shutting the door.
"Well," started Lily as she pulled off her muddy shoes. She was wearing white knee high stockings, which were damp, so she started to pull them off. "You might as well begin talking. Ah, can you show me where your wound is as well?"
She took out her hair as well, letting white curly locks out of their tight bun. She wanted to seem more natural and make him feel a little safer during her treatment.

Lyra trotted in, easing between the maids as they left. She placed her head on the bed, staring up at Ulric with her muddy brown eyes. Her tail thumped against the floor as she made herself comfortable by the bed. She groaned, scooting closer to him and nudging her nose against his hand.
Ulric settled back onto the bed with a sigh, relieved to be off his feet since the whole ordeal began. He winced as he adjusted himself on the bed. However, he grew frustrated with his lack of comfort and laid back with a huff. He wasn't ungrateful, however his inability to get comfortable did not relax him. He draped an arm over his face, making sure to keep his bloodied hands away from his face. The blood could mess up his pack mark that was streaked across his face.
He chuckled a bit. "Huh, where to begin?" He propped himself up on his elbows and stared up at her. His own umber colored eyes studied her closely. He cleared his throat, swallowing thickly. "Wow...you're beautiful." His cheeks flared and his eyes grew wide. "I-I mean, y-y-you have pretty eyes! N-N-no wait- that's not how I meant to start-! I mean-" He sighed, breathing in the scent of blood. He frowned, moving his hand away from his bloodied face to point at his thigh. "That wound is the one that hurts the most."

She laughed softly at his compliment. Wow, first she meets her first guy and he tells her she's beautiful. What does that say. She ignored it for now, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Alright, this might sting a little." She took a deep breath, holding her hand over his thigh. A soft blue light began to shine in her palm until it enveloped her whole hand.
Gently, she placed her hand on his thigh, healing the wound in the process, albeit with some pain. She pressed her lips together and looking at him. "Thank you, by the way. Does that hurt at all?" she asked as the healing magic began to sooth him.

He nodded, not really trusting his words at the moment. Though he flinched away when he saw her hand over his leg. "Sorry, sorry. I just thought you were going to touch it. I...um wasn't ready." He felt Lyra move to his other side in order to give Lily room. Her nose brushed against his other arm and he reached up to pet her.
He felt her hands brush against his tortured skin and his jaw fell open in a silent scream. He snapped his jaw shut and leaned over, squeezing his eyes shut. The pain was so intense he thought he might pass out. But just as soon as the pain came, it disappeared. He blinked his eyes open and glanced up at her. "Well it did, but not any more. I guess that cut was a lot deeper than I thought." He glanced away, choosing to stare at the wall instead. "Er, yeah...you're welcome."

Lily gasped softly, watching him wince in pain. She pressed her lips together again and placed a cool hand on his forehead. "I'm so sorry...I'll try to be more careful." She smiled softly with her pink lips before using her other hand as a guide to the rest of the wounds on his chest.
She used her magic here and there, trying to close up as many of the bigger wounds before the smaller ones. Though, she felt herself dizzying and her power draining in the process. "I forgot, I didn't get your name," she said with a small laugh.

Despite her cool touch Ulric found his face heating up. He kept his face turned away from her, though he was sure she could see the blush that painted his cheeks a shade of red. His brown eyes darted back to her face, if only briefly, as he acknowledged her apology. "I-I just wasn't ready for the pain." A nervous chuckle escaped him. "Most of my past injuries weren't even this deep, just minor cuts and scrapes."
He felt like his head was going to explode as her hands moved about his battered body. He swallowed thickly, trying his best to calm himself. He focused on Lyra instead. Though he could tell from her face that she was thoroughly enjoying his discomfort. "Stow it you stupid mutt." His harsh whisper only earned him a throaty laugh from his partner.
He felt his tense muscle relax a bit when he felt her touch being more and more sparing. He turned around to face her fully. "Er...my name is Ulric. Ulric Wolfe of the Daevon Tribe."

"Wolfe?" she asked with a grin. "I see. Ah, I'm Lily," she said. Once she was done with his chest, she hung her head in exhaustion, taking deep breath as she held her own head. "Oh, I'm sorry...I'm not used to using my magic so...so much." She took a deep sigh before raising her head again.
She pushed stray lock of white hair behind her ear before moving her hand to his cheek. She caressed it for a bit before healing a little scratch and removing her hand. Now, she felt tired. Her wobbling arms and tinted cheeks gave her away. "And...and your friend here?" she asked, looking to Lyra with a weary smile.
