"It's a pleasure to meet you." He dipped his head in greeting, watching her closely. He reached out to pat her shoulder, but instantly withdrew his hand remembering the blood. Instead he folded his arms, taking care to tuck his hands out of sight. "But are you...feeling okay using all your magic like this? Because if you're not you, uh, could leave to go get some rest. The last thing I want is your brother barging in here with you asleep on the bed and him thinking I'm a pervert."
He jumped under her touch, feeling his cheeks heat up again. He blinked glancing down at his partner. "Oh that thing?" He chuckled when her nose wrinkled and she bared her teeth at him. "Easy, you've made fun of me already. It's pay back." He glanced back up at Lily. "Her name is Lyra. She's my partner, not my pet."

[[OTL sorry this is late]]
"Lyra..." she repeated with a smile, reaching out to pet the wolf. "Hm? A pervert?" She had heard that word before, but never knew what it meant. Lionel said it a couple of times, and many of the maids had called him that once or twice. She pressed her lips together, slowly standing up with a little wobble.
She put a hand on her head from her dizzy spell and stood upright with a sigh. "W-Well," she said with another weak smile. "I-If your fine, then maybe I should go. Lionel would be angry with me." She started for the door, trying to seem as least tired as possible. "Well...my servants will wake you for breakfast, is that fine?"

Her ears perked and she glanced up at the sound of her name. Though she stiffed when she saw Lily reach out to pet her. She suppressed the urge to growl and bared her teeth in warning, feeling her ears flatten against her head. But she didn't make a move to harm Lily. Rather the problem was that she was not used to being approached so openly and especially after a rough night.
Ulric frowned and reached over to push Lyra away. "Enough of that. Be a bit more courteous, will you? She did just save us both you know." He watched as Lyra snorted and trotted toward away, toward the opposite end of the room. He shook his head. "Sorry, try not to mind her. She's still touchy." He decided against explaining what a pervert was. If she didn't know, he wasn't going to explain it to her because he didn't want to find out what she would do if she considered him one.
He watched her go, suddenly feeling lonely and exposed. "W-wait!" He felt his cheeks burn and he took a deep breath before he continued, already embarrassed by his impulsiveness. "I-If it wouldn't be too much trouble, maybe could you...um...stay here?" Immediately he felt like slamming his head against a wall. He was asking this princess like stranger to stay in the servant quarters, with him, at night. His brain clicked and the image of him being escorted to the gallows crossed his mind, because he was sure that was a crime on a number of levels. He shook his head. "N-never-m-mind...forget I mentioned it..."

"Hm?" The girl looked back, hand under her chin. "To stay?" She really wishes she could do that, but she knew that Lionel would be angry for spending more time with him than needed. Even so, she didn't want to leave him alone. Of course, she never through too many things through before agreeing. "I think I-"
There was a knock at the door, but no time for her to answer. It opened, revealing Lionel with her maids behind him. Thankfully, they had changed their bloody uniforms. Lily looked up at him with a thick swallow but he kept his fixed eyes on the boy. "Hm, looks like you treated him well." Regardless weather or not it was true, he didn't bother to check. "Alright, Lilette, time to go to bed, okay?"
"But-" His glance stopped her in her tracks. She looked back to Ulric with a weak smile. "I'll see you...in the morning." She was escorted out and one of the maids picked up her stockings and gloves, or whatever she had left. Lionel looked back at Ulric.
"One night," he said. "One meal. Then I better not see your face again, got it?"

Ulric's head perked up, his eyes trained on her. Had she really considered that idea of staying? Had he been in his wolf form he was sure his tail would have been pounding against the sheets. He stayed absolutely still.
Or at least he did until a knock interrupted them. His brows dropped and he suppressed the urge to growl at Lionel. Normally he didn't care one way or another whether or not he was treated with hospitality. He was used to harsh treatment by now, being one of the lower ranking wolves of his pack. However, he would be eternally grateful to whomever had been kind enough. A typical dog, really. Scratch his belly and he was sure to love you forever.
But with Lily, he felt different. He wasn't just grateful for her kindness. He latched onto, almost depending on it as if it were his own lifeline. And in a sense, it was, since she had just brought him back from what could have been life threatening injuries had he been left out in the rain.
He almost missed Lily's parting words as he pondered to himself. His eyes fixed on Lionel, trying his best not to glare or sound rude. Despite his dislike for the guy, his sister had just saved his life. In some way he owed him. "Don't hold your breath, I'll be out of here before dawn."

"Tch." Lionel shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. "We know that ain't happening. My sister requested that you stay for breakfast, so you stay. Unless, you're keen to break a girl's heart so early." He started for the door again. "The night servants will be out any minute. If you need anything, they'll take you where you need to go." He sighed and peered his eyes at him. "Make sure we don't catch you wandering alone." And he slammed the door.
Meanwhile, Lily was getting dressed and washed for bed. She kept pondering about Ulric, hoping that Lionel wasn't scaring him off or anything. It truly did worry her, especially because he asked for her to stay. At this rate, she wouldn't be able to leave her room. What woe.

He mentally cursed himself, the request she had made completely slipped his mind. But he said no more as the brother left him alone again, wincing as the sound slammed against his eardrums. He growled. What he wouldn't give to punch that smirk off that guy's face. It was one thing to be an omega in a pack, but to be down right disrespected made his blood boil. At least in his pack, those above he respected. This guy he barely knew just demanded it like he owned the place. "Which he probably does..." He sighed and leaned back against the headrest, trying to make himself as comfortable as possible.
"Well, doesn't look like I'll be getting sleep again tonight." He glanced over at his partner, glad to see she was finally relaxed but not asleep. He smiled at her, patting the bed next to him.
Lyra glanced up at her partner, watching him closely. She stood when he patted the bed and trotted over. She placed her head on the bed, nosing at his hand.
Ulric stroked her massive head and gazed up at the ceiling, wishing he could see the night sky. Another sigh and he turned his head away, toward the wall. His wolf instincts kicked in and his mind buzzed with activity. No way he was going to sleep tonight.

Rise and shine, as they always said. She woke up like a true princess: maids opening the shades, letting the sunlight in. Then, they would have to open the canopy to her bed and let the sunlight hit her eyes. With a groan, she peered open her blue eyes, still sleepy. "Come, Miss Einmell," came Liane. "Time to wake up." The same each morning. She sat up and stretched as her maids waited around her. When she slipped out of her bed, she was redirected to the bathroom.
They drew a lukewarm bath and disrobed her, letting her sit when it was ready. This was the part she really detested the most: she could bathe herself. But no, her maids did it anyway. It invaded her personal space, being scrubbed every inch and having her hair pulled and tugged as it was shampooed and conditioned. Though, she was used to never resisting. After her bath, she was dressed.
They slipped upon her a blue, strapless dress that matched her eyes. Over her shoulders layed a white, knitted shawl to hide some skin. They dressed her hair, giving it a plump ponytail slung over her shoulder and tied with a ribbon. As per usual, she was escorted down to the dining table for breakfast. Lionel and her father ate earlier. "Shall I fetch our guest?" Diane asked. She gasped, forgetting that he was there.
"Y-Yes please," she said with a thick swallow as she sat. Diane made her way to the room where they planted Ulric and knocked. Of course, being Diane, she opened the door without warning.
"Sir, breakfast is ready."

The night had passed without much incident. Ulric was barely able to sleep as he had predicted and had spent the night staring out the window. Each time he did he felt himself sighing. What had he been thinking, abandoning his post in favor of some relaxation? And in some other tribes territory too. Another sigh and he shifted under the covers.
He closed his eyes letting the sun warm his face. "Lyra, why does everything I do seem to have such horrible results?" His partner glanced up at him, her voice silent but her eyes full of knowing. He reached over to scratch behind her ears. "Well I suppose this time it wasn't all that bad. I got to meet a snow haired princess with magical powers. That counts for something right?" Lyra glanced up at him with an expression of confusion. Ulric couldn't help but laugh. "You're right, the lack of sleep must be getting to me. I must be delusional."
He watched the birds outside his window flying about in the sky. His arms folded underneath his head, cradling it against the back of the headrest."It must be nice to be them. So carefree. Nothing to do but think about when the next set of worms will appear above ground. Lucky son of a guns." His eyes flickered over to the door as one of the servants appeared. He shifted to sit up, but quickly decided against it as his thigh flared with pain.
He grunted. "Er...okay. Um how exactly am I supposed to get up to the food? Or is it coming down to me?"

The maid gave Ulric a sigh, walking over to him. Unceremoniously, she lifted him bridal style, carrying him out of the room. "Perhaps we may find crutches for you to take later," she said nonchalantly. "Our young lady expects you to eat with her, and you shall abide her wishes."
Meanwhile, Lily was served a plate of fruit and two crepes. Her diet was very regulated, and she was only allowed to choose her meals once or twice every so often. She did not complain, unless it came to peppers or spices. She started eating, popping the pre cut and glazes fruits into her mouth before rolling some into her crepes.
Though, she ate slowly, so she would not finish before her guest arrived.
